WHAT A PLACE! The Loft has everything you could possibly hope for - homeliness, elegance, well-equipped, clearly well-cared for, and such gracious hosts; we simply could not have hoped for more. Thank you for all your hospitality, and for providing breakfast on our first day which was an exceptional touch. All the information you have provided has been spot-on, and we can only hope for the opportunity to return to try more of the restaurants (and the wines). From pool days to skydiving and hedgehog rescue, this holiday will live long in the memory - even the techno DJ set in Carcassonne thumping through our dinner, as they dropped the bass during our hors d’oeuvres, made us laugh!
We had the most wonderful time at Villa La Baronne. I think our children spent most of their time in the pool. Beautifully decorated house with plenty of space for all our family.

What a truly incredible place to stay. The owners were so welcoming and could not do enough for us during our stay when needed. The château and grounds relax you immediately when you arrive. There is so much space and every facility you need. This venue is a must for your holiday.
The house is beautiful - plenty of space for a large group to have both together time and also their own space. Outdoor areas are fantastic and beds super comfy! . Overall highly recommended.

Ça s'est très bien passé pour notre famille de 7 adultes, une petite fille et 2 petits chiens. De l'espace, c'est parfait avec beaucoup de coins pour se reposer, manger ou juste avoir un peu de paix. La clim était excellente avec la chaleur de cette semaine. La télévision énorme pour les finales de Wimbledon et les propriétaires bien accueillants. Merci beaucoup pour tout. À la prochaine!!!
Une semaine fantastique dans cette belle villa ! nous avons apprécié l'accueil chaleureux de Frédéric et les fleurs fraîches dans presque toutes les chambres. Nous avons pleinement profité de la piscine et du barbecue et avons apprécié de regarder le coucher du soleil le soir. C'est dommage de partir. Merci!
A great week. To dine – Hotel St Jacques (St Saud Lacoussiere) and Moulin du Roc (Champagnac de Belair) – both fine dining – M de Roc most expensive. To visit: St Robert, Ségur de Châteaux, St Jean de Cole – all beautiful. To divorce – canoeing at Brantôme, but make sure to visit the market on Friday morning. And at the end of the day come home to this wonderful house with great facilities and an absolute superb pool area – the best we've ever seen! We'll be back
Fantastic time in this great house and location. 2 weeks of rest, relaxation and fun with the kids and extended family. Thank you. What a wonderful place! So much for the kids to do - swimngs, slide, trampoline, swimming and may runing races, lots of yumy wines and cheese. Two scrumptious meals cooked by Tim and Ali. Very tempted to return next year! Thank you. What an amazing find, fantastic location and beautiful house. We had an awesome 2 weeks with extended family and friends. Great hospitality from Tim and Ali. Thanks a million. Passer une semaine ici était tout simplement fantastique. Nous avons apprécié les magnifiques couchers de soleil. Nous nous sommes bien amusés au bord de la piscine et avons fait un excellent barbecue. Nous reviendrons certainement.
Nous avons passé deux semaines bien remplies et c'était tellement agréable de retourner dans une maison paisible et propre avec un joli jardin pour se détendre. Nous avons réservé pour revenir en 2020 et nous attendons déjà avec impatience. L'appartement est entièrement équipé avec toutes les indispensables pour un court séjour.
We celebrated a big family birthday at Château Mabrouke and enjoyed a welcoming and stunningly beautiful home, with great fun at the pool, tennis court, zipline and on the dance floor. The Pyrénées were the backdrop to the most glorious of settings. An unforgettable holiday.
Merci pour votre hospitalité et de nous avoir permis de séjourner dans cette belle maison. Pendant notre séjour, nous avons beaucoup apprécié L'abbaye de Fontevraud - si belle et merveilleuse à explorer pour nous et nos enfants, Chinon - un tel caractère, même sous la pluie, l'atout doux du vin Coteaux du Layon (c'est magnifique, merci ), Azay le Rideau - un si beau village, de nombreuses boutiques intéressantes, des rues joliment présentées, Mona Pizza à Saumur, malgré le nom les pizzas (four à bois) étaient incroyables ! L'église de Cunault - magnifique 14ème siècle, les jardins du château de Villandry - les jardins étaient magnifiques, Montreuil ville basse - un charmant village, un magnifique château au centre et un grand atelier de poterie, la piscine et le jardin ! Apprécié par nous tous tous les jours. Le gîte était un vrai chez-soi, un vrai plaisir d'y séjourner. Nous espérons y revenir un jour !
La maison de Marie-Christine est idéale pour une famille, elle est décorée avec beaucoup de goût, moderne et aérée. Elle dispose de toute les commodités et sa localisation est idéale (supermarché, boulangeries, centre commercial, centre ville, gare, etc) Marie est une personne charmante. Elle nous a donné des conseils et nous a réservé un bon accueil. Je recommande fortement sa maison qui est entièrement rénovée. Le Plus: Une vue magnifique sur le coucher de soleil :-) Merci encore pour votre disponibilité et votre accueil Marie! A très bientôt
Un grand merci pour des vacances merveilleuses et très relaxantes dans votre belle maison. Tout était super, surtout les livraisons de pain tôt le matin, et le repas au Pourquoi Pas - un vrai régal ! Nous réserverons certainement à nouveau pour revenir à la Maison des Communes plus tard. Merci!
A wonderful return visit to Villa Kali and this beautiful area of France. Weather has been great all week with plenty of sunshine, with the pool providing much needed relief. Enjoyed visits to Saint-Guilhem-le-Desert and Montpellier, as well as several trips to Pèzenas, particularly the ice cream shops! Enjoyed meals at Les Palmiers (quite expensive) and Chef Brasserie Chez Hansi (good value). Saturday market in Pèzenas worth a visit and Serignan Plage probably the best beach. The patisserie / boulangerie opposite Carrefour does great bread, croissants and gateaux. Look forward to a return visit in the future. Thanks for a great holiday! 5 / 5.
Quelle maison ! Et quelle région ! Si tranquille, sans circulation, avec des gens sympas et des animaux jusque devant votre porte. La vue sud au-delà de la piscine est captivante et a occupé une grande partie de notre temps rien qu'à la contempler. Le temps a été exceptionnel et la piscine est un must absolu par des températures allant jusqu'à 37°C ! A la réflexion je pense qu'il faudra peut-être nous faire expulser par les huissiers ! Retour au stress quotidien et aux détritus au Royaume-Uni demain... Nous adorons cet endroit: 10/10. C'est notre seconde visite aux Noyers. Incroyable! Constamment dans la piscine car la température avoisinait 38°C. Recommandation gastronomique : La Bodega à Chalais - les meilleures tapas. Pensez à précommander vos croissants si vous en espérez plus de 10 à la boulangerie. Absolument fantastique! La piscine était mon activité préférée ! Tout était propre et bien rangé. MERCI BEAUCOUP.
Whaou! La première fois que j'ai vu les photos je l'ai trouvé splendide, mais quand nous sommes arrivés, c'était encore plus magnifique. Nous avons passé un merveilleux séjour. Debbie et Brent sont d'une gentillesse absolue et nous ont fait nous sentir les bienvenus. Les jardins sont si pittoresques! C'était nos premières vacances avec notre enfant d'1 an et nous ne pouvions pas rêver mieux comme vacances. Merci La Bastide!

The house is great. Lovely warm pool, table tennis table, huge grounds, lovely area, lots of culture nearby, nice local town with excellent market.
Wow, what a huge privilege to be the first entry into what we know will become a book full of compliments, acclaim and thanks to a very special couple who are creating a very special place. The house and gardens are an amazing reflection of the style and care and attention to detail that Russell and Karen are putting into what we know will become one of Languedoc's gems. Their un-intrusive but 'nothing is too much trouble' nature brings a relaxed and caring environment. The Loft is a lovely haven to relax in and contemplate the beautiful world around you. We look forward to returning and wish you all the very best.
We have had a very enjoyable fortnight in your beautiful house and gardens, despite the unfriendly weather. We go home feeling very relaxed. We enjoyed days out in Chinon, Fontevraud and several of the other places mentioned by others. Thank you for your hospitality, the wine, jam and bubbles. Hope you enjoyed Italy.
We spent 2 heavenly weeks at your magical château. Thank you for your hospitality, warmth, care and advice! Your love of the château, your family and France made our trip that much more meaningful. Everyone who came (16 total, ages 2 - 74) has literally called the trip life changing! You have managed to maintain the Château's glory and created a mystical place for families and friends to connect and explore the beautiful Dordogne region. Thank you for all your sightseeing advice and the catering recommendations. This trip is unforgettable!
We have thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The private, secluded setting was just what we needed. We used th eoutdoor kitchen all the time, such a wonderful addition to the property. We will be back!
Thank you so much! Saint-Sulpice is perfect – and we really appreciated the small details that made us feel special. It's a pity the weather wasn't better, but the pool lounge was a great place to relax even on rainy days-we've all had an unforgettable holiday – thank you.
We stayed with our 2 children aged 5 and 7 and had a wonderful time. There are plenty of things to do nearby and the accomodation was well equiped and great for a family holiday. The pool is wonderful for long hot afternoons and there is lots of outdoor space to explore. The hosts were very helpful and I would recommend this place to my friends.
This is a total joy of a house. The photographs make it look beautiful - it is even better in real life. The pool is quite incredible - like being in a boutique hotel all of your own. A true hidden gem.
