It’s like staying with friends, with all the positives and none of the negatives! One of the things I think we will remember most about our trip are Karen and Russell. They gave our family the warmest of welcomes and ensured our stay was both comfortable and with a touch of luxury. Having never ventured to this part of France, it was fantastic to have the helpful suggestions for wineries not to be missed, activities for the kids, and the best places to eat. On the other side of the coin, we had our much-needed R&R. The oasis of peace and tranquility of the Loft, the gorgeous terrace for evening aperitifs, and alfresco dining, the extensive and beautiful gardens, and the sparkling azure gem of a pool! Thank you both for making our holiday so special. That cake : WOW! WOW! WOW! Despite all the fab patisserie, the kids still go on about that cake, Karen! Recipe, please!
Nous avons passé un superbe séjour. La propriété était joliment meublée et équipée et a dépassé nos attentes. Nous la recommanderions à tout le monde!
Des vacances incroyables dans une propriété incroyable. Nous sommes une famille de 6 adultes et 6 enfants et avons passé des vacances au Domaine de Nérige début mai. Quel régal!!! Sandie et David étaient très accueillants et ont fait déployé tous leurs efforts pour en faire des vacances de rêve. La maison était suffisamment vaste pour que nous puissions tous avoir notre propre espace et la piscine a été un véritable succès une fois que nous avons acheté des combinaisons pour les enfants. La terrasse était super avec le barbecue et c'était agréable de pouvoir manger dehors. La maison avait tout ce que nous aurions pu souhaiter. Il y avait même une réserve de vin et de bière au cas où nous ne voudrions pas nous rendre dans les supermarchés. Sandie a organisé des traitements pour nous avec deux thérapeutes brillants et c'était tellement relaxant. Sandie a également préparé un repas pour un soir et c'était fabuleux. Nous avons même reçu les recettes des plats que nous avions choisis. Superbe région avec beaucoup à faire. Nous avons tous convenu que nous n'aurions jamais pu espérer trouver mieux. Merci Sandie et David.
La maison est au top, elle reflète les photos affiches/. Maison très conviviale et accueillante. Idéal pour des voyages entres groupes d’amis ou de familles.
We have just returned from Château Picol after a wonderful family holiday with seven adults and five children. On arrival at this historical château we were greeted by the owners who showed us around their magnificent château with its beautiful antique furniture. They had provided a Welcome Pack of local food delicacies and essentials. The rooms were generous in size and decorated in keeping with the period. The kitchen was fitted with modern appliances and provided everything you may need. The rear terrace sited a larger table where we could all dine together and also barbecue. The heated pool was a great success especially with the children. The extensive wooded grounds were perfect for exploring and playing games. A tranquil place to unwind.
En week-end en famille, tout le monde a été charmé et ravi par la maison de Sue. Très grande maison confortable et joliment décorée pourvue d un jardin et d une piscine de toute beauté et idéalement située au bord du canal du Midi. Sue est très sympathique et son accueil chaleureux. Nous recommandons et y retournerons pour un week-end détente.
This mansion offers everything anyone could wish for. Spacious, large bedrooms, comfortable bathrooms and outdoors like a park. Lovely swimming pool with sun beds and a lunching area (at least, that’s how we used it. Every one of our group (including the kids) had a wonderful week, no exceptions. Contact with the owner was swift and pleasant and the property manager Caroline is a gem. We hope to be back some other time, but meanwhile we recommend this property to anyone who wants to have an excellent French experience. Many thanks.
Our stay here was the highlight of our recent trip to the South of France. From the minute we drove through the gates we were impressed by the beautiful gardens, house and pool. It is truly a magnificent French retreat and estate. I couldn't recommend the house more highly and I am already planning another trip there soon.
We rented the two cottages to spend Christmas with our family, they are both great ! Very well equipped, clean, very pretty… The hosts are very attentive and available. The place is really relaxing, perfect to walk in the forest, to be quiet… It was perfect!
We thoroughly enjoyed our trip to Pézenas. The villa was superb, well maintained, modern with all up to date appliances. The Wi-Fi was a bit slow but this in no way affected our enjoyment of the holiday. The town was just as we imagined it to be, typically French with an attractive historic centre. Good restaurants, shops and bars all within easy walking distance.
Notre séjour à la Maison Baleyssagues a été parfait pour notre semaine en mai, c'était génial. Une villa très spacieuse et exceptionnellement bien entretenue et équipée. Piscine et terrain fantastiques. Le gestionnaire Frédéric a été très accueillant et serviable pendant notre séjour. Nous pouvons honnêtement dire que c'était l'une des meilleures villas dans lesquelles nous ayons séjourné.
Endroit fantastique pour recharger les batteries ! J'adore l'endroit. Merci. Nous avons passé une semaine merveilleuse, je ne voulais pas partir ! J'adorerais revenir l'année prochaine.

Superbe séjour dans un très beau château. Bien de conserver aussi bien notre beau patrimoine.
We had a wonderful stay at Manoir de Fouilloux, my retired parents and children aged 8 and 11 had a truly relaxing stay with plenty to see and do locally. The house had plenty of space inside and lots of different areas outside to eat and relax. In particular we enjoyed spending time outside in the Moroccan terrace and kitchen and especially the evening when Ian and Hugh cooked for us when we took advantage of this as an extra option. Ian and Hugh were super helpful informing us of the local area which suited all ages so there was plenty to do for everyone. I would recommend hiring a car to explore the beautiful villages. The pool was well used in such hot weather with plenty of space for us all to relax and read as well as splash about with the children. The area was lovely and quiet so we were all able to switch off and spend quality time together as a family, plus with Ian and Hugh nearby we felt we had our own personal concierge service! They also provide a very useful guide which is in the house and also sent before our arrival. There has been so much attention to detail carried out in and outside the house and Ian and Hugh were fantastic with our many questions we had as we loved hearing about the work that went into it. We absolutely loved our time there and our 8 year old is now asking for a dog the same as Oscar! Thank you to Ian and Hugh for giving us such a memorable holiday, we felt truly spoilt staying in such a beautiful and well refurbished traditional house and can't wait to return one day!
We had a lovely time at your house, we really like Pézenas and the surrounding area. The house itself was superb and very well equipped, we and our 18, 20 and 21 year old children were very happy. Being able to enjoy the shops and restaurants in Pézenas then wander back to the tranquillity of the house made for a great holiday.

Superbe maison spacieuse avec beaucoup d'espace pour notre famille de 6 adultes, tant à l'intérieur qu'à l'extérieur avec une grande piscine. Conviendrait aussi à 2 familles partant en vacances ensemble. Endroit tranquille avec l'essentiel des commodités non loin à pied: supermarché, boucher, etc.. et accès facile en voiture aux villages voisins et à Béziers. Nous avons passé du bon temps ici et nous le recommanderions sans hésitation.
Lovely old place restored by Frederic. We were lucky enough to be there for the festival in Sauve which was great! Far too hot to go hiking in the hills but managed trips to Uzes ( beautiful) and of course the Haribo museum for the kids. Pool cover needs 2 people and doesn’t come all the way back but it’s for safety. Kitchen well equipped for a large group. Really enjoyed our stay!

Excellent. Nous avons passé un trés bon séjour. La villa est trés bien équipée, vaisselle, ustensile tout est présent. Une vue panoramique exceptionnelle sur les vignes depuis la maison et la piscine. Accueil chaleureux à notre arrivée et repos garanties au milieu des vignes.
Merci pour ces merveilleuses vacances dans votre magnifique château. Chaque instant a été agréable et je suis plein d'admiration pour la façon dont vous avez restauré la maison avec amour pendant 15 ans, l'atmosphère est très calme et relaxante. Ce fut certainement des vacances inoubliables, dans un cadre et une région de France si charmants.
Juste pour vous dire que tout a été parfait à la Maison Carel. La villa est belle et magnifiquement bien équipée. Merci pour les ventilateurs qui nous ont bien été utiles.
We were able to have a great week with friends at this house, which matched the photos perfectly. The host is very accommodating and accommodating. Amenities are complete, different living spaces are spacious, the pool area is a real plus. I'd recommend it!
A perfect stay for a family Christmas. Plenty of room for 10 people. Beautiful bedrooms and bathroom. A very family-friendly living room, a superb and functional kitchen. Magnifique maison. Merci pour ce merveilleux séjour. Nous étions un grand groupe d'amis à la recherche d'un endroit pittoresque pour passer une semaine ensemble. Nous étions excités quand nous avons réservé mais comblés quand nous sommes arrivés dans la belle maison. Elle fonctionne très bien pour un grand groupe de personnes avec plusieurs zones pour s'asseoir confortablement et se détendre. Nous avons pris de délicieux dîners et petits déjeuners (cuisinés dans la cuisine bien équipée et le barbecue) sur la terrasse et la vue les a rendus encore plus magiques. Même si la maison est merveilleuse pour se détendre et jouer dans la piscine, nous avons trouvé de belles choses à faire dans les environs. Il y a un merveilleux restaurant juste à côté de la maison et du kayak et du wakeboard à environ une heure de route et de jolis villages non loin. Bref, si vous voulez un endroit qui se soit privé et pittoresque et qui soit toujours fonctionnel et confortable, c'est l'endroit idéal. Nous espérons revenir bientôt!
We have thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The private, secluded setting was just what we needed. We used th eoutdoor kitchen all the time, such a wonderful addition to the property. We will be back!
Ouah! Vous avez un morceau de perfection ici ! J'ai été tellement détendu pendant 2 semaines ici. La piscine a été mon réconfort avec le soleil chaud. L'Isle-sur-la-Sorgue est un endroit charmant avec de nombreuses belles boutiques et des marchés fantastiques. Merci de nous avoir permis de séjourner ici. J'espère revenir.
