The house is easy, open and welcoming. Details are lovely. The garden is natural and flowery. The pool is a wonderful addition even in the early season. We enjoyed the town and its wild surroundings. The food, the wine, the beauty of the land as well as the warm welcome we received made it the best vacation ever.

What a delight! The two bedroom cottage was very spacious and comfortable - actually seemed bigger than the photos depict. Our hosts couldn't have been more welcoming and supportive and had a genuine interest in making our stay as enjoyable as possible, from recommendations and help with reservations at wonderful local restaurants, to suggestions for local sites to visit, to making sure we were comfortable when we experienced some inclement weather. We would love to return and highly recommend this unique property to anyone planning to spend time touring the gorgeous Dordogne area.
An absolutely amazing stay – we will return! We had the most wonderful 6-day stay at Petite Maison de Campagne. Set in a peaceful, tranquil location, we woke up each morning to the sights and sounds of cows from the neighbouring farm grazing in the fields – such a lovely view to enjoy while having coffee and breakfast. The pool and sun loungers were exactly what we needed for the hot French summer, and our son loved relaxing in the hammock under the trees. The property itself has been beautifully restored, with everything you could possibly want or need – including Wi-Fi (essential when travelling with two teens!). Our host was fantastic from start to finish. Communication was clear and friendly from the moment we booked, with all the information we needed to find the property and settle in. She even recommended some brilliant places to visit. I had one query during our stay, which she answered promptly and helpfully. The surrounding area offers so much to see and do – we only managed a fraction of it, so we’ll definitely have to come back to explore more. I highly recommend La Maison Nid to anyone looking for a relaxing yet well-equipped place to stay in this beautiful part of France. We loved it and can’t wait to return.
La Villa Funel bénéficie d'un bel emplacement étant très privée avec des vues sur les environs. Le logement était exceptionnellement propre et bien meublé avec tout ce dont vous pourriez avoir besoin et plus (bien mieux que certaines villas que nous avons louées auparavant !). La piscine était de bonne taille, magnifique, agréable pour nager après les visites. Je recommanderais vivement cette villa à un couple ou à une famille.
It’s hard to know where to begin to tell you how much we enjoyed our stay. Your property is so well set up and we made good use of the barbecue, tennis court, boules, darts, table tennis and of course, the pool which beats all other swimming pools we’ve ever had on holiday... and the shady areas when the sun got just that bit too hot. So much thought has obviously gone into it all and it made our holiday very special. The four teenage grandchildren we had with us had a ball and we all loved the Lot countryside, its villages and the sunflowers. How can you not be happy when you’ve got fields of them within a few steps from your door? The two Marches Gourmands we went to at Tournon and Saux were brilliant fun - the food on offer at Saux was particularly good and Tournon is such a pretty place. Our daughter loved going for early morning runs, seeing a hare and on two occasions, a deer, amongst sunflowers. Swimming in the Lot, cycling and canoeing are all on our list of favourite things we did. We also have a great picture of three of the red squirrels on the tree near the bolet - what a brilliant place for breakfast. Thank you so very much from all of us. Nous avons apprécié notre séjour dans votre magnifique maison de vacances. Nous avons adoré le mobilier et la décoration, notamment les cartes ! Le côté des collines est tout simplement génial ! Nous avons marché dans les environs et sommes toujours revenus dans cette superbe maison avec une piscine fantastique. Merci pour tout.

Beautifully renovated, well equipped house, ideal for family / friends gathering. Three quite separate sets of 2 double/ twin bedrooms with en-suites and seating areas, so plenty of privacy. Well equipped kitchen (loads of fridge space) and separate bar / fridge/ dishwasher area. Plenty of seating and dining space both inside and out on two terraces. Kids loved the pool and outside space, playing volley ball in the garden. We enjoyed the views and quiet surroundings. My parents enjoyed the local towns and villages; and the cakes! Daily cleaning included by lovely housekeeper/ gardener who live next door. We didn't know they were there except when we needed them. The area is beautiful if you have the energy to travel, Beaune and Dijon are worth a visit and the nearby Couches with a lovely château has a delicious Patisserie / Boulangerie. We took the train from Chagny to Beaune to visit the Hospice and enjoyed a wine tasting. There are lots of vineyards to visit and taste at, we wished we'd organised some tours before we arrived as the owners can advise on this. You will not be disappointed booking this house, we have stayed in many houses in France over the last 30 years and this is undoubtedly the loveliest. We hope to return.
We stayed at Maison Sainte-Croix in June last year and I have to say, we had a fantastic holiday. The spacious house is very comfortable and there is plenty of room for everyone. We particularly liked the choice of terraces to enjoy the magnificent views at different times of the day. We had many enjoyable afternoons tasting wine in the various local villages and were glad that we drove rather than flew so that we could take home some of our favourites! We found some very good restaurants in Vaison and the street market is well worth a visit. Many thanks!
Une semaine fantastique dans cette belle villa ! nous avons apprécié l'accueil chaleureux de Frédéric et les fleurs fraîches dans presque toutes les chambres. Nous avons pleinement profité de la piscine et du barbecue et avons apprécié de regarder le coucher du soleil le soir. C'est dommage de partir. Merci!
Beautiful maintained home and grounds. Excellent facilities for young families. All modern and child / baby amenities provided. Daily housekeeping was an added bonus compared to previous holiday rentals.
Nous étions un grand groupe familial et nous avons passé un super séjour dans cette belle maison alliant le charme de l'ancien et le confort moderne. La cuisine est magnifique et très bien équipée. Que dire de la superbe et immense terrasse extérieure pour passer de bons moments en famille ou entre amis. Belle piscine bien entretenue dans une superbe jardin avec le petit plus du terrain de pétanque. Très belle vue sur le château de Margon. Hélène est tres réactive et facile dans sa communication. Tout est conforme aux descriptions, sans mauvaises surprises. Donc aucun problème, qui plus est pour des vacances. Mais Hélène nous avait prévenu. Nous recommandons les yeux fermés.
Villa parfaite, hôtes charmants et vue imprenable. Wow, cette villa est tout simplement parfaite à tout point de vue ! C'est beau, paisible, propre et très proche de Saint-Paul-de-Vence qui est magnifique. Les propriétaires étaient très gentils avec nous, s'assurant toujours que nous avions tout ce dont nous avions besoin. Toute la semaine n'a été que luxe et confort et la piscine était divine ! Nous reviendrons certainement ici car nous avons passé une semaine fantastique. Dès notre arrivée jusqu'à notre départ, nous nous sommes sentis tellement détendus et gâtés d'attentions ! Je ne peux pas décrire la belle semaine que nous venons de passer dans cette villa, tout était tout simplement parfait ! Merci encore pour ces vacances fantastiques et nous espérons revenir bientôt !
We really enjoyed our stay at Manoir Bellevigne. It is a lovely property.
C'est la plus belle maison que nous ayons jamais louée pour des vacances. Nous étions deux familles et cela a parfaitement fonctionné pour nous. Tant d'activités à la maison, y compris les vélos, baby-foot, tennis de table, pétanque, court de tennis et une belle piscine chauffée. Il y a même encore plus de commodités que les photos ne le montrent y compris une grande piscine et une salle de jeux / TV. Le domaine est superbe et la vue de la terrasse au coucher du soleil est un spectacle à voir! Plusieurs belles villes se trouvent à moins d'une demi-heure de trajet. Mike et Natalie, qui s'occupent de la maison pour le propriétaire, habitent à quelques kilomètres de distance, toujours agréables, ils ne ménagent jamais leurs efforts, superbe maison, rien a redire! Ce fut un privilège de pouvoir séjourner ici pendant une semaine. Une pure détente. Nous avons passé des vacances très spéciales, encore une fois, Pure France nous a fait honneur.

We have enjoyed every moment of our holiday here. We wanted to get away from our busy lives in London…and we did! Lounging by the pool or in hammocks, followed by evenings with delicious BBQs. Pézenas is a sweet little town with great places to eat and shop. Visit the market on Saturday for an explosion of the senses! We can't wait wait to return next summer.
Magical, inviting, soothing, AMAZING! The villa was truly magical, while also invoking a sense of home. The community areas are large enough that you never feel crowded and there are several places to "hide" within the property for true soul searching/peace with a magnificent view at every turn. Very well maintained and quaint restaurants/shops just a short walk away, but not too close(you still feel tucked away). HIGHLY recommend!!
Thank you Corelle and Stephen for a wonderful stay in your beautiful cottage. We loved the peace and quiet, cycling around the quiet lanes and watching the kingfishers flying in and out of their nests at the lake. We found it all so relaxing and tranquil and would love to return again. Thank you also for the welcome treats and the lovely chats with you both. Colombat Cottage is a very special place.

Our 2nd visit to Mas de Lozanne and it certainly didn't disappoint. The extreme heat curtailed some outings, but the pool area was a haven! We still managed daily coffees in Café d'Art and a couple of early evening drinks. We made good use of the barbecue. Pezanas keeps on giving and this house, nestled in the vines, is a delight! Belles vues, une belle villa reposante. Nous avons vraiment apprécié le séjour ici. Minerve valait le détour (ville et grottes), et les enfants ont beaucoup apprécié. Les activités au lac de Carcassonne près de Carcassonne.
A wonderful week in this beautiful house. Lots of memories. Our boys loved the table tennis and pool. Night markets in Quarante are a must. I hope we’ll be back x x
Quel endroit absolument incroyable ! Les propriétaires étaient extrêmement accueillants et aux petits soins pour nous durant notre séjour. Le château et son domaine invitent à la détente dès l'arrivée. On y trouve de l'espace à profusion et tout le confort nécessaire. Un lieu incontournable pour des vacances réussies.
Une petite semaine dans cette magnifique maison. Des hôtes disponibles et une maison conforme à nos attentes. A recommander sans hésitation.
