Merci d'avoir fait du Domaine de Nérige un si bel endroit où séjourner, nous y avons passé un moment fabuleux. Le temps, la nourriture et les divertissements, tout était fantastique. Nous n'avons jamais voulu sortir et n'avons fait que remplir le frigo. J'espère revenir avec plus d'amis et de famille si je peux et partager l'expérience avec eux. En attendant la prochaine fois.
Nous avons passé une semaine sous une chaleur accablante, et la piscine étincelante était accessible quotidiennement. Thonac est proche de plusieurs autres villes et villages charmants, et le restaurant en plein air de l'hôtel est agréable et propose une cuisine savoureuse. Le gîte est très bien équipé et dispose d'un jardin accueillant. C'était un endroit parfait pour nos vacances.
We were traveling with our 3 children. The house is even more beautiful than the photos. We ate all meals when we were home outside on the terrace. The pool was fantastic. The wonderful windows open to the perfect temperature outside. It was an immediate sense of relaxation. You can walk to town, the Roman Ruins, lake and the asylum where Van Gogh stayed. Town is charming and chock full of things to do. Wednesday market throughout town was a blast for all of us. Great restaurants, 2 artisan chocolate makers!

We had all been looking forward to this holiday and nothing disappointed - we have all had a wonderful time and at least we christened the pool! The time has passed so quickly - thank you for your wonderful hospitality, as always. We are looking forward to seeing you again this October.

Great holiday. Great accommodation, fantastic hosts, wonderful holiday. A very impressive château in huge grounds make this a great venue to relax and unwind. Each room has a unique character and there is a huge kitchen. Highly recommended.

Somewhere special. From the moment we arrived at Le Manoir des Fouilloux we knew it was somewhere special. The attention to detail in every little corner of the beautiful and spacious house and grounds are the result of great vision and an enormous labour of love by its delightful owners Ian and Hugh. Le Manoir exudes a classic, elegant style, with some fun and quirky touches and is luxurious throughout, whilst also allowing you to feel truly relaxed and pampered. You are really spoilt for choice with so many quiet corners to sit, read, relax, snooze, chat and drink rosé as well as several areas to enjoy sunny or shady breakfasts, long lunches and suppers. With a 10 and 13 year old in tow and temperatures of up to 37 degrees, we spent a large part of our time around the stunning pool Hugh and Ian have created. Not wanting to be too lazy though, there are plenty of things to do very close by – kayaking, tree top climbing and river swimming can all be done from St Aulaye and Aubeterre is also well worth a visit. Ian and Hugh are the most thoughtful and considerate hosts and should be rightly proud of the tranquil haven they have created. This was quite possibly the best family holiday we have had and we hope to return one day to enjoy it all over again! Thank you all.

This property is so beautiful you may not want to venture out, but if you do there are great restaurants and bars nearby as well as lovely walks and biking trails. The rooms are very comfortable, all en-suite and everything you could wish for is provided. The huge swimming pool / pool house / relaxing / eating and barbecue areas mean that you can be outside all the time but the gorgeous well equipped kitchen and indoor rooms offer a cool alternative. Cant wait to go back!
It was lovely to come back to another warm welcome at the beautiful Loft - we have had a wonderful time as always!
We have had a fantastic stay in this fabulous property and wanted to say how much we loved The Loft! It was everything we had expected and more; it is fantastically equipped and we wanted for nothing. Karen and Russell are excellent hosts and we hope to stay here again in the future. What can I say but awesome. We all arrived at the same time to drive up the long drive to the picturesque château. Obviously we had seen pictures but they did not do it justice. We were met with a glass of bubbly and were shown around the property. It was like being shown around a personal home rather than a holiday rental property. There was everything you could want for a relaxing holiday for our two families, including a tennis court, swimming pool, snooker / pool table, croquet set and the all important ice machine as we were in the middle of a heat wave. All the rooms were luxurious with all but one bedroom (which had it's own bathroom) having ensuite bathrooms and the two main bedrooms having dressing rooms as well. The grounds were spectacular and there was even gorgeous little chapel. The best endorsement I can give is that we were all discussing how we could come back next year. We thoroughly enjoyed our 2 weeks here, very quiet and peaceful with plenty to do. A very warm welcome from the hosts.
A really nice villa with peaceful garden. We all especially children enjoyed the pool. Weather was also excellent, we were really lucky. Enjoyed the nature of L'Hérault, walking in Lac du Salagou and the Gorges d'Hérault and swimming in the mountain pools.
This flat was wonderful. Location is great, 5 minute drive from Beaulieu, 10 minute walk to train station. Coffee and snacks right at the edge of the property and a few restaurants within walking distance. Very quiet area. Right on the water. This flat had absolutely everything we could want to enjoy our stay. Kitchen is a nice size and has all amenities. The two bedrooms were great. Dining area and living room were spacious and comfortable and the balcony was large and nicely furnished. Washer and dryer were convenient to have. Communication with Ben and the owner was easy. The place also came with beach chairs. The only clarification I’d make is that the bathroom is one toilet, one shower and one sink.
Our second time here and more amazing than ever. A beautiful home and stunning location. Superb food and atmosphere. We highly recommend it ! The town of Brantome, too - it is gorgeous ! We will be back again. - family O-H
The house is great for a large group and the surroundings are really beautiful. The fig and almond trees in the gardens were in full fruit too. The pool area would benefit from shade such as the awning in the online picture. The weather was very hot while we were there and the upstairs bedrooms were uncomfortably warm. Take not that the a/c is only in the living area.
Thank you for providing your guests with such a lovely environment for their vacation. We have had a most enjoyable week using all the excellent facilities. Au revoir.
Both (the house and grounds) are absolutely beautiful and fantastic for parents and children alike. Despite a lot of activities in and around the area, we chose to stay 'in' more than we had expected because of how good the house and grounds were. A stunning location which surpassed our expectations. Both this and the hosts made this into a thoroughly enjoyable holiday. THE BEST FAMILY HOLIDAY WE'VE HAD - Thank you for everything! X

Lovely spacious house, at the edge of a village. Beautiful pool area and pool house with shaded eating area. Excellent bathrooms and spacious modern shower facilities. Useful utility area. Lovely quiet setting. Good shop in next village, 4 miles away but bread machine just near property. House was lovely and clean and excellent welcome from caretaker.
Quelle belle maison bien aménagée dans un endroit magnifique. Malgré un peu de pluie, nos invités et nous avons énormément apprécié notre séjour de deux semaines. Merci aux propriétaires qui ont été des hôtes parfaits - serviables, sympathiques et disponibles en cas de besoin, sans empiéter d'un pouce sur notre intimité. Nous n'aurions pas pu demander mieux, ni à Pure France ni au Domaine de Nérige. Vous avez conçu la maison de vacances parfaite et nous et nos invités aurions été heureux de pouvoir rester plus longtemps, beaucoup plus longtemps. Jusqu'à ce que nous nous réunissons à nouveau, meilleurs vœux. xx
Nous sommes venus deux semaines et avons reçu un accueil chaleureux de nos hôtes. Nous avons exploré la région et les environs, fait de belles promenades et découvert de charmantes villes, comme Sarlat-la-Canéda et Bergerac, avec leurs marchés animés. Merci à Alan et Madeline d'avoir partagé votre jolie maison avec nous. Nous avons hâte de revenir avec le reste de la famille.

Merci pour cette semaine très agréable à la Maison Brunet. C'était l'endroit idéal où passer plusieurs jours passionnants. Le Gouffre de Padirac, les hauteurs rocheuses de Rocamadour, la cité médiévale de Monpazier et bien d'autres choses encore… Mais c'était toujours un plaisir de revenir à la Maison Brunet.
Nous avons passé d'excellentes vacances. Merci pour votre accueil et pour cette jolie maison décorée avec goût et tout le confort. Notre fille et nous-mêmes avons vraiment apprécié. Nous espérons revenir l'année prochaine.
We booked for a week in late July to celebrate my husband's Big Birthday. There were 13 of us ranging from 4 - 80. We all loved the beautiful, spacious house and the large grounds and lovely countryside. The pool is fabulous and the children spent most of the time in it, when they weren't on the trampoline or playing table tennis! Ally and Tim were wonderfully friendly and helpful hosts and cooked us a truly gourmet dinner one evening. There are lots of charming, historic villages in the area. This place is a gem.
