Ma famille et moi-meme tenions à vous remercier pour ce séjour dans votre villa. Tout était parfait, je tenais à vous le dire personnellement.
Nous avons passé un séjour merveilleux au Cottage du Jardin, une maison pleine de charme et digne d'une carte postale. Thonac est idéalement situé pour visiter cette partie de la Dordogne, et la proximité des restaurants et des commerces est un atout considérable. Un grand merci à Caterina et Steve pour leur chaleureux accueil.
Lieu enchanteur ! Hôtes tres agréables, aux petits soins et lieu tres propre. Je recommande sans hésitation !
La piscine et le jardin sont beaux et bien entretenus. Le salon principal est lumineux et aéré. La buanderie a été très utile. L'endroit est calme et paisible.
This home is spacious and beautifully appointed with spectacular views that offer an ever-changing backdrop. We found the early mornings particularly beautiful and loved watching the amazing sunsets sitting by the pool or on the veranda. This stylish and well-equipped home from home was a truly wonderful place to stay and had everything we could wish for to have a comfortable, relaxing and enjoyable holiday. We look forward to returning very soon.
Absolutely delightful rural but cosy atmosphere with everything you need. Well equipped - sunshine by the pool and warmth by the fire when the evening cooled. Already looking to secure dates for next year.

Maison Bourg Calès is most definitely a five-star property. It is a beautiful property, both inside and outside, beautifully clean and fully equipped with everything you could possible need for a wonderful holiday. We also really appreciated the extra touches - the bottle of own label wine that awaited us, the basket full of towels for the pool and the store cupboard of kitchen essentials. We loved the saltwater pool. We would happily recommend it to anyone wishing to holiday in the Dordogne and looking for a well-located, high quality property.
Peaceful location with beautiful views. The building has been really thoughtfully renovated. The open nature of the outdoor area meant you could always choose to be in/out of sun, always a breeze. A fab place for a family holiday. Great for cycling, locals super friendly. Delicious food and wine. We will definitely be back! We recommend the closest town, Monségur, the most for food, drinks and ambience. The local wine co-operative were also very friendly with great recommendations. We also recommend La Salle a Manger for food or just for a drink.
We had a great week in a particularly nice house in a great location. Was very quick on our texts. If we get the chance, we will definitely go back to this special place.

Lovely old place restored by Frederic. We were lucky enough to be there for the festival in Sauve which was great! Far too hot to go hiking in the hills but managed trips to Uzes ( beautiful) and of course the Haribo museum for the kids. Pool cover needs 2 people and doesn’t come all the way back but it’s for safety. Kitchen well equipped for a large group. Really enjoyed our stay!

This is our 3rd visit and yet again we have had a lovely time. Weather a little more energetic than previously but still lovely and warm. So relaxing, peaceful and calm, with the advantage of Poitiers to explore and the fantastic bakeries nearby. Thank you so much again.
Excellent home and facilities. Everything exceeded our expectations. Lovely space. Catering: deicious - it was so lovely to arrive to hot food after a long journey and to not have to worry about shopping for the first few days. Friendly and approachable service. La villa correspondait à la description et était parfaite à tous les points de vue. Nous avons choisi la villa car tout était de plain-pied et la piscine et la terrasse étaient situées très près de la maison principale. Nous avons passé un moment des plus merveilleux et la disposition des chambres signifiait que nous avions beaucoup d'espace pour nous détendre. L'espace barbecue a bien été utilisé. La climatisation était la bienvenue lors des chaudes nuits méditerranéennes. C'était aussi la première villa dans laquelle nous avons séjourné où nous avons pu marcher jusqu'à la ville locale pour acheter nos croissants quotidiens. Le service que nous avons eu de Pure France et Philippe était exceptionnel. Merci.
Un cadre magnifique, reposant où nous avons profité de belles journées. L’espace ne manque pas, chacun y trouve son bonheur... Si vous appréciez le charme authentique des vieilles demeures, cette location vous satisfera.
Des vacances fantastiques et nous adorerions y retourner. Le marché nocturne de Lacapelle un incontournable, ainsi que Parc en Ciel, le kayak à Vitrac et bien sûr la piscine.
This is a total joy of a house. The photographs make it look beautiful - it is even better in real life. The pool is quite incredible - like being in a boutique hotel all of your own. A true hidden gem.
What a lovely property. A real home from home, lacking nothing. Thank you for allowing us to spend 2 weeks as a large family group. We all had a fantastic time. x
Notre séjour avec des amis à Duras en août 23 était exceptionnel grâce à cette grande maison faite pour des moments de partage. En effet la maison est très spacieuse avec des espaces suffisamment séparés pour que chacun ait des activités différentes. Plusieurs terrasses exposées différemment permettent de profiter de l’extérieur à divers moments de la journée. Nos enfants ont profité autant que nous de la piscine dont le système de sécurité est très rassurant. La maison reste fraîche malgré la chaleur, et sa cuisine bien équipée a permis de vrais moments conviviaux à préparer les repas. Enfin la maison est idéalement située, dans le bourg très sympathique et au pied du magnifique château. Une parenthèse enchantée à partager avec la famille et les amis.
We've had a lovely week here at the villa. It's been especially good for our youngest family member who has really enjoyed playing here. We loved the heated pool, especially when the clouds come over the fun can continue. Absolutely recommend a trip to see Carcassonne for those wanting a day trip, but remember to check what is open. Thanks so much, we hope to come back soon.

Immaculate! Everything was soptless. We had everything we needed. Thank you for accommodating us. Love the pool! The BBQ was great for evening meals altogether. Chaque partie de la maison regorge de détails et de charme. Toutes les autres maisons vont pâlir en comparaison maintenant ! Nous serions ravis de pouvoir revenir.
C'est la deuxième fois que nous partons en vacances avec Oliver’s Travels — cette fois-ci via Pure France — et nous avons été tout aussi impressionnés ! Toutes les démarches ont été gérées avec professionnalisme et efficacité : nous n'avons absolument rien à redire, bien au contraire, nous ne tarissons pas d'éloges.
Domaine du Château is the most beautiful and well equipped house ever. Better in the flesh than the photographs suggest. We stayed as a group of 11 extended family members and a couple of babies. Largely because of babies and children, we wanted a place with a pool where kids could be when adults were doing other things. Domaine du Château was perfect for this. The owners, have a history of taking groups to rental houses around Europe. They took notes and used them in renovating this property, resulting in attention to detail that makes everything work for a large group. I cannot think of a single thing that was lacking in making the house work for us. There is an exceedingly well equipped cook's kitchen. Every bedroom was beautiful with en suite bathrooms. They have cribs and the ability to turn the bedrooms (or at least some of them) from queen beds to twins. The bedrooms are arranged in pairs with good separation from other pairs of bedrooms. All are well away from public rooms where there might be noise. There are even two pairs of washers and dryers, so no queue for doing laundry. There are multiple outdoor terrace areas and a stunning view from the salon terrace over the pool to the hillside village beyond. The house is about 40 minutes from Beaune in a beautiful rural area. It is a great cycling area. The Voie Verte that runs from Santenay to Nolay might be the most scenic ride in Burgjndy. Once you get on it, you are completely separate from cars and riding on the level through stunning vineyards all the way. The house is also close to the Canal du Centre which is another great biking opportunity along the old towpath. Beware that the house is uphill from both, so the return may be a bit challenging for some riders. We rented bicycles from Bourgogne Randonées in Beaune. They were delivered to the house and were in mint condition. Must not forget Stephen and Lilly, the house managers. They live in a separate area of the property. They are a delightful couple with an enviable history of adventurous living. They were completely unobtrusive, but there to meet any need we might have, including doing the shopping for us one day. On the subject of shopping, do not miss the Sunday morning market in Chagny. There are dozens of vendors with beautiful local produce, cheese and meat, as good as can be found anywhere.
