Nous avons passé un très très bon séjour en France et nous envisagerons sans aucun doute d'utiliser à nouveau Pure France lors d'une prochaine occasion.
Kirstie et David sont des hôtes formidables et la propriété est pittoresque et magnifique. Nous recommandons vivement la Maison Lanave.
La piscine et le jardin sont beaux et bien entretenus. Le salon principal est lumineux et aéré. La buanderie a été très utile. L'endroit est calme et paisible.
Well, what can we say other than we have had a ball and our 'musicals' night with you both will enter the folklore of the families. Thank you so much for the wonderful hospitality, friendship and laughs - what a holiday! We've loved every minute of our holiday. The Loft is superb in every aspect. As hosts we could not have hoped for a more welcoming, friendly and helpful couple - you are amongst the chosen! Thank you so much for helping us have such an amazing holiday.
We had a really nice holiday at Château Entre-Deux-Mers... it's an amazing place and everything was just fine.
Mission accomplished, we came for a week to rest in a family holiday and we are sad to leave. One week was not enough! Thank you for answering our few requests and we love your villa! The A/C is perfect, beds are great. All the games available and even managed to read 2 books! The ice machine, the 3 ovens... All wa perfect! Happy summer. All the best.
The house and the grounds were fantastic. The rooms were all spacious and we particularly appreciated the bedroom set up with interlinking rooms from the nursery. We really enjoyed exploring the grounds and went for walks/runs. The children loved exploring the forest area The swimming pool was fantastic. Loungers etc. comfortable. The kids loved the swings, etc + the playroom was well stocked. Everything we needed was here. Catering service was delicious and we really appreciate you taking into account the intolerances. Very friendly service, nothing was too much to ask. The owners are never on top of us but there if needed. Much appreciated. Fantastic holiday, thank you.
Nous avons passé une semaine parfaite dans cette magnifique maison. Autant nous avons adoré sortir et nous promener, autant nous avons adoré passer des journées paresseuses autour de la piscine - cela a été un véritable défi de la laisser ! Nous y sommes parvenus à quelques reprises et entre nous, les temps forts ont été de vraies balades à vélo sur des routes de campagne tranquilles, l'exploration de belles petites villes aux alentours, la visite incontournable d'un château (Chenonceau est un must - arrivez tôt) et bien sûr, le simple fait d'être en France. Merci de nous avoir permis d'entrer dans votre maison très spéciale - vous êtes des hôtes charmants et j'espère que nos chemins se croiseront à nouveau à l'avenir. Merci beaucoup!
Agréable séjour, la maison est très bien située. Nous avons aimé le Palm Beach Club à Les Vagues. Dans l'ensemble, une superbe semaine.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Maison Gounou (August 2025). There were seven of us from the same extended family, aged from thirteen to sixty-two, plus two small dogs. From the moment we arrived, we were struck by how quiet and peaceful the location was, which coming from south London was a real blessing. Although the house is situated on a small road, passing cars were extremely rare. We met some of the local neighbours when out dog walking, and they were pleasant and friendly. The house is beautiful and comfortable, very picturesque with a large gravelled driveway for several cars. We could close the iron gates to keep the dogs inside, which was useful. The pool was exceptionally clean, very refreshing and well maintained. The kitchen was equipped with plenty of pots of pans for large-scale cooking, including many le Creuset dishes. The rooms were spacious, the bedrooms comfortable, with plenty of bathrooms and toilets for everyone. Bedding was changed half way through our two-week visit. The surrounding area is full of old bastide towns with markets and medieval buildings, outdoor evening dining events, medieval fairs, artisan shops . Although it was thriving, nowhere felt too busy or stressful. We found lots of places to eat including a lovely restaurant in Monpazier (Privilege du Perigord) that served a tasty three-course lunch for 23 euros. Highlights of the stay: peace and tranquillity, ability to let go and relax. Lovely veranda to sit and read/relax/fall asleep, lots of books to look at, lovely sitting room. More than enough space for seven people and two dogs. Lovely local towns to stroll around.
We were traveling with our 3 children. The house is even more beautiful than the photos. We ate all meals when we were home outside on the terrace. The pool was fantastic. The wonderful windows open to the perfect temperature outside. It was an immediate sense of relaxation. You can walk to town, the Roman Ruins, lake and the asylum where Van Gogh stayed. Town is charming and chock full of things to do. Wednesday market throughout town was a blast for all of us. Great restaurants, 2 artisan chocolate makers!
Nous avons séjourné fin juin pour fêter les 50 ans de ma femme avec ma famille et mes amis (nous étions 16). Le cadre est magnifique et donne sur une vallée particulièrement agréable le soir en se relaxant sur la terrasse avec un ou deux verres de vin. Nous avons passé des vacances fabuleuses. Il y en a pour tous les goûts au château, beaucoup d'activités dans la salle de sport pour occuper tout le monde mais ce que nous avons particulièrement apprécié, c'est la piscine vintage et le parcours de golf qui était difficile mais très amusant. Notre semaine a passé beaucoup trop vite et nous chercherons certainement à y retourner. Merci aux propriétaires Nicky et Richard de nous avoir si bien accueillis et d'avoir fait de l'anniversaire de ma femme une occasion si spéciale.
What can I say but awesome. We all arrived at the same time to drive up the long drive to the picturesque château. Obviously we had seen pictures but they did not do it justice. We were met with a glass of bubbly and were shown around the property. It was like being shown around a personal home rather than a holiday rental property. There was everything you could want for a relaxing holiday for our two families, including a tennis court, swimming pool, snooker / pool table, croquet set and the all important ice machine as we were in the middle of a heat wave. All the rooms were luxurious with all but one bedroom (which had it's own bathroom) having ensuite bathrooms and the two main bedrooms having dressing rooms as well. The grounds were spectacular and there was even gorgeous little chapel. The best endorsement I can give is that we were all discussing how we could come back next year. Thank you both for the most wonderful stay at your beautiful villa. We’ve had the most incredible week exploring the South of France – an area we love – and discovering new places. This spot is extremely special and we’ve relished the relaxing days and evenings spent here (made even more special by the sighting of a wild boar with babies and your marvellous set up for the gorgeous cats) – thank you for showing us this! The secluded spot, surrounded by woodland, an aromatic and fragrant garden attracting many butterflies, a beautiful pool and terrace area is somewhere we won’t forget and would love to come back to. Everything has been thought of at this place which makes it so homely. Everything from kitchen utensils and supplies to the BBQ, bowls and the TV set-up – the place has it all. You have both been such friendly and discrete hosts, allowing us such privacy and the personality you have stamped on the place (from plants, to artwork and sculptures as well as the lovely cats) makes this space so full of character too. Thanks again and we wish you both the best – hopefully we’ll return in the future!

Fantastique maison spacieuse (en m2 comme en m3) avec un intérieur design bien pensé. Le jardin est un domaine avec vue de chevreuils.

Mostly enjoying the weather and pool! We have seen the red squirrel, lizards, water vole and many birds. It's so peaceful and beautiful, we will miss it.
Maison typique très agréable, chaque chambre dispose d'un espace douche/WC ce qui est un vrai plus, on s'y sent très alaise, pièce de vie lumineuse et conviviale, canapé très confortable, nous n'avons manqué de rien. Le patio et l'espace piscine nécessiteraient un meilleur entretien pour être au top. Le village est joli, on y trouve une boulangerie, pour les autres commodités type supermarché, station essence, 5 mn en voiture à Magalas. Nous recommandons ce logement.
We had a great vacation in a great house. My compliments to the property owner for renting out such a great home.
Nous avons récemment passé deux semaines dans la propriété avec six autres amis. L'ensemble a été joliment décoré avec des couleurs vives et fraîches, ainsi que les deux cuisines richement équipées. La plupart des chambres disposent de leur propre salon et d'une salle de bain complète. Nous avions choisi la chambre jaune qui donnait sur la cour et les montagnes. L'intérieur de la propriété est vraiment aussi attrayant que les photos sur le site Internet. Il y a deux grands salons, dont un avec télévision grand écran. La piscine et le coin repas extérieur sont bien entretenus et agréables à utiliser. Le patio aux dimensions très généreuses, surplombant les Pyrénées, est équipé pour écouter de la musique et peut être éclairé la nuit, pour manger et danser en plein air. Le propriétaire nous a suggéré, un soir, d'essayer un restaurant local, appelé Gayda. Si vous séjournez à la propriété, vous devez vous rendre à Gayda pour le dîner. Le dimanche soir, ils vous présenteront un repas véritablement gastronomique, ainsi que tous les vins pour accompagner le repas cinq étoiles, le tout pour environ 25 euros par personne. (Nous y sommes allés trois fois). Tout ce dont vous avez besoin pour passer des vacances fabuleuses est disponible à la propriété. Vous l'adorerez.
Ma famille y a passé un séjour formidable. Nous avons 2 jeunes enfants (âgés de 1 et 5 ans) et l'appartement était propre, sécurisé, avec des appareils modernes (y compris un lave-linge/sèche-linge), une vue sur l'océan et une belle piscine à débordement sur le toit. Les chambres ont un bon volume, faciles à utiliser, avec contrôle de la température, climatisation et stores occultants. Un lit bébé et une chaise haute étaient disponibles dans l'appartement. Il y a un grand supermarché/magasin de l'autre côté de la rue et l'appartement donne directement sur la promenade de la plage, donc il est facile de se rendre à pied à la marina et aux restaurants de plage. J'espère que nous pourrons revenir bientôt.
Nous avons passé un séjour très agréable à Nézignan et pensons que la propriété est de première qualité.
Fantastic stay in a wonderful house. Wonderful house for 7 people. The rooms were very spacious, as was the outside space. Excellent for families I would say. Very warm welcome by the host and pool was attended to throughout. Nice touch of having towels and bed linen changed during the stay for no extra charge (a first). Many thanks to Victoire and Gaby.
