Two weeks of idyllic bliss in the rolling French countryside with superb weather to atch. As a family young and old, we enjoyed the stunning house, garden, pool and views. To agree with the previous guests, Laparade is the place to be on a Tuesday evening. Days spent at Biscarosse beach and lakeside both worth the journey. Would also highly recommend in house beauty treatments. We had massages and facials. Fantastic. Just ask Olivia.
What a fantastic holiday we have had! Every aspect has been superb. We both agree (and that's unusual!) that this is the best accommodation we have ever stayed in. The attention to detail is superb and your warmth and hospitality has been much appreciated. We shall look forward to a return visit.
What a gorgeous week we've had here ! Annie and John have been so welcoming - inviting us for a much-needed glass of wine on our arrival. Not to mention all the helpgul local knowledge and information. We have loved the pool, sunshine and glorious garden. We would recommend the lovely Piglet Barn and Annie and John especially. We very much enjoyed our stay in La Forge. Quiet and charming gite with swimming pool in a small, rural village surrounded by beautiful countryside and interesting places to visit. A very helpful yet discreet proprietor, living close by, who was only too happy to help with any questions we had. Highly recommended.
En week-end en famille, tout le monde a été charmé et ravi par la maison de Sue. Très grande maison confortable et joliment décorée pourvue d un jardin et d une piscine de toute beauté et idéalement située au bord du canal du Midi. Sue est très sympathique et son accueil chaleureux. Nous recommandons et y retournerons pour un week-end détente.
Nous avons choisi cette propriété pour sa piscine et son espace extérieur et nous n'avons pas été déçus. C'est un endroit magnifique qui a rendu nos vacances si spéciales. Tout est si bien entretenu et les propriétaires ont pensé à tant de choses. On voit qu'ils en sont très fiers. Nous avons adoré utiliser la machine à café et la confiture maison était délicieuse. Nous avons adoré nos barbecues du soir sur la terrasse sous l'auvent, mais sauter et jouer dans la piscine était le top. Des souvenirs pour toute une vie. Merci beaucoup.

We have enjoyed several wonderful visits to this most delightful property set in bucolic rolling countryside. The house is elegant and extremely comfortable, giving maximal privacy inside and out so that guests can enjoy the peace, whether swimming in the lovely pool, or just relaxing in shade or sun. There is also a lovely terrace for al fresco dining and a fabulous collection of books. The creation of the gardens is masterful . We loved the nearby market in Condom and the creamy stone architecture of the area.
We had a lovely time at your house, we really like Pézenas and the surrounding area. The house itself was superb and very well equipped, we and our 18, 20 and 21 year old children were very happy. Being able to enjoy the shops and restaurants in Pézenas then wander back to the tranquillity of the house made for a great holiday.
Wonderful. It felt very safe for the little ones who enjoyed being able to roam free. Very well maintained and everything well thoughout. Perfect set up - a real home from home! We had everything we needed. The pool was a hit with adults and kids alike. The canapés were articularly good and greatly appreciated, they were tailored for a dietary requirements. Briliant week.
A fitting venue to celebrate our 40th wedding anniversary with our four children, their husbands and wives and our grandchildren! Memories that will remain for years. Well provided for, comfortable and panoramic views -with a week of excellent weather! Thank you and your staff!
Maison isolée parfaitement équipée avec vue magnifique! Nous avons occupé la villa uniquement et nous y sommes sentis très bien. Il y a moyen d'être tous ensemble autour de la piscine ou de s'isoler dans un des nombreux endroits aménagés. Une seule recommandation, n'oubliez pas vos tongs pour passer de la maison à la piscine car il y a quelques graviers sur l'allée.
Cette propriété est une oasis de calme, magnifiquement rénovée et aménagée sans perdre le charme et le caractère de la distillerie d'origine. L'équipement, les installations, la décoration et les tissus d'ameublement sont de la plus haute qualité. Les hôtes, qui s'apparentent à un service de conciergerie, sont généreux et mettent tout en œuvre pour vous assurer un séjour merveilleux. Merci pour ce merveilleux séjour.

What a fantastic week we had a . The house is beautiful and we loved the attention to detail.
This was one of the very best holiday experiences we have ever had. Superb accommodation, spacious and elegant with a stunning pool and table tennis. The area is glorious with mediaeval towns, wineries and close to Bergerac airport should that be required. It really is a spectacular location and can recommend it without any reservation, not least as the owners are completely committed to the satisfaction of their clients. It’s outstanding.
Superbe demeure ayant conservé le charme d'antan. Les extérieurs sont magnifiques avec un jardin immense et des bois jouxtant celui-ci. Nous avons passé un séjour très reposant avec nos amis et enfants. La maison est très pratique et on ne se marche pas dessus ! Merci encore à Stanislas et Martha pour leur accueil.

Nous avons vraiment apprécié nos vacances à la Maison Cabanon. C'était très calme mais assez proche de la ville, parfait pour des vacances en famille. Nous avons eu la chance de bénéficier d'un temps magnifique et les enfants ont vraiment apprécié la piscine et le fait d'être ensemble dans la chambre avec les lits superposés. Les installations de la maison sont d'un niveau bien supérieur à celles des villas habituelles. Un véritable second chez-soi.
A big 'Thank You' for your hospitality at the Loft du Vigneron. We’ve had a wonderful time and enjoyed ourselves a great deal and we will cherish the memories of our week in Rieux-Minervois.

Places We Recommend: Leclerc Supermarket for groceries and all the nearby villages previously mentioned.
Notre séjour était parfait, la maison était impeccable tout le confort dont nous avions besoin et tout était neuf. Eva nous a conseillé pour pleins de choses, le contact était parfait toujours à l'écoute et bienveillante. Merci pour ce séjour si agréable.
Anthony and Rachel make wonderful hosts being friendly, knowledgeable, helpful and also very generous with their excellent "welcome pack". We loved the whole region: Carcassonne and Mirepoix are a "must" (the owners of the "Mad Hatter" cafe in Mirepoix are Brits) and we enjoyed the markets at Mirepoix and Revel. Also enjoyed the drive south from Revel through the pretty villages/small town of Saissac. Lagrasse is a pleasant village but a tad overrated in our view. On the other hand, we loved Minerve and the Minervois region including the small town of Caunes-Minervois. Fontfroide is worth a visit and Montesegur is a must if in that area. We enjoyed Peyriac de-Mer and Gruissan on the coast but would avoid Narbonne Plage on another occasion - great beach though! Toulouse is a pleasant city and worth a visit if cities are "your thing" and the SNCF smartphone app worked brilliantly. For a special lunch, Cote Resto is a must. Excellent food and in a wonderful setting.
Thank you for being wonderful hosts. It has been a joy to stay at the Loft and to explore a little of the region. Excited to be thinking of returning in the future when the weather is cooler. Our arrival was so welcoming and you provide such a generous hamper for our first night - thank you We particularly enjoyed exploring Rieux with its château, church and watching the wine harvest. Just back at work after two weeks at Maison Tigre and wanted to thank you for sharing your home with us – we had a fantastic time. We have been staying in France and Italy over the last ten years – varying our choice between rural isolation (for space and privacy) and village houses (for the boulangeries and café s, etc.) and I have to say that your home provides the perfect combination in a part of France where there is so much to do and see. I also really like the house itself – the great care that has gone into the development, finishing and furnishings is evident (and I like the modernist / minimalist style you have employed). All in all a brilliant holiday.
