Enjoyed a wonderful week with friends in this beautiful house surrounded by stunning scenery. Clare was welcoming and helpful and we couldn't have asked for more. Would thoroughly recommend and very much hope to return again.

May 2024 A lovely well presented place to stay with everything you need in a cozy, clean house. Pool was lovely and heated for us even in early May. Close to Carcassonne and loads of nice local walks. Peaceful village.
We spent 5 days in September in Château Entre-Deux-Mers, we were 4 couples of friends. It is an exceptional castle very well located with all modern luxury. The building, garden and pool are fascinating and the interior has been recently decorated with design furniture by a very talented architect offering a modern and luxurious experience. A superior place for demanding guests. We recommend to use the available local catering options (dinners and breakfast) who cook excellent meals with respect of local ingredients and recipes. Plenty of wine châteaux to visit in the surroundings and the city of Bordeaux is worth discovering for a guided tour, dinner or cultural activity. We will definitely come back!
We have had a fantastic, relaxing week in a beautiful part of the world. The views from the pool and terrace are stunning and will be sorely missed!
Séjour fantastique - groupe de 10 adultes et 10 enfants. Excellente configuration pour bien divertir les deux groupes et quelques surprises supplémentaires comme une aire de jeux à côté de l'une des terrasses extérieures. La salle de sport et la piscine sont toutes deux immenses, la dernière nous gardant au frais pendant les chauds après-midi. Les propriétaires nous ont également aidés à organiser les services d'un cuisinier local pour certains soirs et ceux d'un producteur de vin local pour une dégustation de vin.
Thank you for sharing your beautiful home. We have enjoyed every second. There is such a relaxed and calm atmosphere at Maison Four à Chaux! Perfect, We've been spoilt. We've enjoyed dining in all the areas around the house, especially the pool house! We would recommend a visit to Rochefort and Cognac. The park in Saint-Savinien is great for little ones. Boat rider, inflatables and picnics. Thank you for the gifts on our arrival... Yvonne has been a perfect host... great advice and support. Thank you so much.

Nous avons passé une excellente semaine dans cet endroit très calme et verdoyant. Une maison très agréable et confortable, à l'intérieur et à l'extérieur. Terrasse, piscine, transats... C'était super ! À proximité de Pézenas (magnifique), de l'Abbaye de Valmagne (magnifique) et des marchés locaux... La propriétaire est adorable et très discrète.
The house is easy, open and welcoming. Details are lovely. The garden is natural and flowery. The pool is a wonderful addition even in the early season. We enjoyed the town and its wild surroundings. The food, the wine, the beauty of the land as well as the warm welcome we received made it the best vacation ever.
Des vacances géniales dans cette jolie maison. Nous avons adoré la piscine. La salle de jeux améliorée était incroyable par rapport à notre dernier séjour il y a 7 ans. Trois générations de 71 à 11 ans et nous l'avons tous adorée, nous nous sommes bien amusés toute la semaine.

Maison Theron is spotlessly clean and immaculately presented, we couldn’t have been happier and would have been delighted to spend much longer there. Great beds - very comfortable a lovely living space and a private and cleverly done garden with a pool. This quiet and calming home is a wonderful find.
Des vacances fantastiques et nous adorerions y retourner. Le marché nocturne de Lacapelle un incontournable, ainsi que Parc en Ciel, le kayak à Vitrac et bien sûr la piscine.
Nous avons passé une semaine merveilleuse dans ce magnifique château. Le cadre est splendide et les équipements sont impeccables. Les enfants ont adoré la grande piscine, et surtout le plongeoir. Nous serions ravis de revenir. Merci.
Mon mari et moi avons loué cette charmante maison pendant 2 semaines en août avec nos 2 jeunes filles et nous prévoyons déjà d'y retourner l'année prochaine ! Tout d'abord, la piscine est magnifique. C'est immense et impeccable et on pouvait à peine en sortir les filles ! La maison est grande et spacieuse et les salles de bain récemment décorées m'ont donné l'impression d'être à Soho House ! La maison est située dans une charmante petite ville au bord du Canal du Midi. Il y a un immense caviste à côté et plusieurs bars et restaurants accessibles à pied sur le quai. Nous avons fait des excursions d'une journée à la plage de Gruissan et de Leucate, qui étaient de superbes stations balnéaires méditerranéennes et à peine 40 minutes.
Our second stay at 'Mel's place', the first was in 2012. Returned with 2 more grand children and a grand son's girlfriend. Have stayed in many houses over the years - this is by far the best. Brilliant pool for everyone, loads of space for the children to play and a secret garden if you want to get away from it. We didn't go far - we just enjoyed the opportunity for us all to get together for a relaxing holiday. Also there is so much equipment and toys for the children - Mel's thought of everything, an excellent host.
What a terrific home to say in. Totally relaxing with so much thought given to every detail. We really loved the tour of all the buildings and we look forward to visiting again to see the developments. Its a glorious place, we loved it here, such a relaxing, comfortable and interesting place to be staying. Its been a privilege to stay in your home. My family stayed here and we could not fault a single thing, everything was as described in the bio, people staying here are in for a real treat this is a great place to stay.
We had a thoroughly enjoyable family gathering at Le Presbytère. It is a beautiful, atmospheric, ancient house set in large grounds. A great place for peace and rest or equally perfect for a gathering of friends or family. We found it so relaxing to sit around in the garden or at the poolside and there is lots of safe space for the kids to play (table tennis, boules and of course the pool were great successes). The house is amazing - such a sense of history and unusual features like old tiles, fireplaces and a lovely old oak beam running across the upstairs landing. It's very roomy so, even if you are staying with a group, it never feels crowded. The surrounding area has lots of great restaurants and fresh produce from the markets. There is excellent cycling and walking around the network of country roads and footpaths. Also the various bastides (12th century fortified towns) are really fascinating. We loved Bonaguil, Monflanquin and Vilareal but there are so many to choose from and they all have their own character. It's also less than an hour to the Dordogne. We had such a great, relaxing and enjoyable time at Le Presbytère and we hope to return in the future. Thank you so much for an unforgettable holiday.

Nous avons tellement apprécié notre semaine dans votre belle maison et votre jardin. Merci d'avoir recommandé le château et les jardins de Villandry - nous l'avons adoré et ce lieu vaut la peine d'être visité. L'abbaye de Fontevraud était intéressante et située dans un joli coin.
A lovely five weeks with nice warm weather. We had several guests from family and friends and everyone was very impressed by the house and garden and the extra advantage of having everything (shops, attractions) nearby. Lovely house and garden and pool.
It’s hard to know where to begin to tell you how much we enjoyed our stay. Your property is so well set up and we made good use of the barbecue, tennis court, boules, darts, table tennis and of course, the pool which beats all other swimming pools we’ve ever had on holiday... and the shady areas when the sun got just that bit too hot. So much thought has obviously gone into it all and it made our holiday very special. The four teenage grandchildren we had with us had a ball and we all loved the Lot countryside, its villages and the sunflowers. How can you not be happy when you’ve got fields of them within a few steps from your door? The two Marches Gourmands we went to at Tournon and Saux were brilliant fun - the food on offer at Saux was particularly good and Tournon is such a pretty place. Our daughter loved going for early morning runs, seeing a hare and on two occasions, a deer, amongst sunflowers. Swimming in the Lot, cycling and canoeing are all on our list of favourite things we did. We also have a great picture of three of the red squirrels on the tree near the bolet - what a brilliant place for breakfast. Thank you so very much from all of us. What a wonderful, characterful holiday home you have created. Comfortable, modern where necessary but full of historical character. And lovely to have the space all around. Just the tonic we needed after months of "lockdown". Thank you!
