Introduction

Grange reconvertie en demeure de caractère située en pleine campagne - à quelques pas du village - dans le charmant département de la Vendée, à proximité de Saint-Malo.

La propriété se trouve juste à l'extérieur (3 minutes en voiture ou 12 minutes à pied) du joli et charmant village de Vouvant avec son histoire médiévale. Une promenade facile pour aller chercher le pain et les croissants du matin ou pour déjeuner ou dîner au restaurant et faire les courses à l'épicerie.

Hébergement au rez-de-chaussée avec grande pièce de vie avec poutres apparentes et plafond cathédrale, accès sur la terrasse et le jardin.

Cuisine entièrement équipée et coin salon avec TV et Internet Wi-Fi.

Chambre double plus chambre avec deux lits simples et grande salle d'eau familiale.

Piscine 10m x 5m (1,8m profondeur), (partagée occasionnellement avec de charmants propriétaires anglais qui habitent à côté dans un logement séparé et privé). Terrasse ensoleillée avec bains de soleil et parasols.

L'acompte de 25% du montant de la réservation est dû au moment de la réservation. Le solde de 75% et la caution remboursable sont dûs 8 semaines avant la date d’arrivée.
L'entrée dans les lieux s’effectue à partir de 16h00 le jour de votre arrivée et la sortie jusqu'à 10h00 le jour de votre départ.
Interdiction de fumer dans la propriété.
Sont inclus dans la réservation: l’électricité, l’eau, le linge de lit, serviettes et serviettes de piscine (à l’exception des serviettes de plage). Pas de disponibilité de lit de bébé ni chaise haute.

Taxe de séjour
Le cas échéant, Pure France est tenu de collecter et de verser les taxes de séjour perçues par les administrations locales pour le compte de nos propriétaires. Ces taxes sont calculées et collectées auprès des clients au moment de la réservation. Pure France verse ensuite les taxes perçues à l'autorité fiscale compétente pour le compte des propriétaires.

Vouvant is a lovely and very friendly village and an easy walk from the Barn. We enjoyed visiting the restaurants and doing the local walks and exploring the area. The weather has been perfect so we loved the superb pool. I'm sure we will be back before too long.

A lovely 2nd week of our 2025 French trip here in The Piglet Barn. More relaxing than planned due to lovely high temperatures ! But where better to chill out than in the garden and pool.

The combination of lovely accommodation, beautiful surroundings and the swimming pool made Piglet Barn a wonderful place to stay. In addition to being an interesting and picturesque village, Vouvant is a great location for the start of circular bike rides and walks. We especially enjoyed the riiverside walk, the Sentier des Rives. The Saturday market in Fontenay provides an enjoyable shopping experience.

Piglet is the prfect spot to visit all the graet spots in the Vendée, our favourite being La Rochelle and the Belugas beach. There are wonderful touches of luxury at the house; beautiful linens, towels and bathrobes. Vouvant is a charming and beautiful village. definitely a fabulous find !

A great place to stay, ideally located for Vouvant, which is a lovely town and a genuine short walk for something good to eat and drink. Fontenay-le-Comte is an interesting large market town. Fervent is worth exploring with pretty forests, lakes and rivers. The owners pool is a good size and adjoins their property. The hosts were very welcoming.

The acccommodation is beautifully presented with lots of lovely little touches. There's everything you need but if not the hosts are just next door and couldn't be more helpful. Vouvant is a very short walk away and has a handful of bars, restaurants and shops so you can just leave the car and relax if you really need to with off. We'd highly recommend a stay a The Piglet Barn and will most certainly be back.

The hosts have thought of every comfort. A fantastic base from which to explore this part of France. It was difficult to draw yourself away from the beautiful garden and pool. We stayed with them many times when they managed to create yet another little haven at their new base in France!
