Cinq étoiles ne suffisent pas à donner un avis sur ce gîte exceptionnel. Une semaine fabuleuse, qui a débuté par un accueil chaleureux (et un délicieux cocktail au cognac) de Mark et Gary, puis par un cadre luxueux que nous avons adoré : 7 jours de luxe absolu, et un grand merci à nos hôtes merveilleux qui ont rendu notre séjour encore plus spécial. L'attention portée aux détails est exemplaire : tout le nécessaire est fourni (du lait fouetté pour un café parfait à la friteuse à air, en passant par les sèche-cheveux, le gel douche au parfum divin et les douches cascade). Le panier de bienvenue était un délice et Mark et Gary ont été des hôtes parfaits, avec d'excellentes recommandations pour le dîner (Le Boule d'Or et Les Drôles étaient excellents) et les lieux à visiter. Tout est impeccable (y compris la piscine et la terrasse, méticuleusement nettoyées chaque jour) et les lits sont comme un nid douillet. L'odeur chaleureuse qui règne partout est un souvenir inoubliable, notamment lors d'une visite à Aubeterre et à Savon Garde. Nous ne pouvons rien reprocher à cet incroyable havre de paix et de luxe et prévoyons déjà d'y retourner. Merci à Mark et Gary d'avoir transformé la Distillerie La Charmante en une destination de vacances exceptionnelle et pour votre hospitalité du début à la fin.
We’ve had a wonderful time thank you. Yes, it did get pretty hot last week, but coming from England we shouldn’t moan..! It’s such a stunning location and the house is very comfortable and cool in the heat. We really don’t want to go home but I’m afraid we have to… Maybe we can come again next summer?

We all had a wonderful holiday and the accommodation suited us so well, we were very lucky with the weather and the pool was perfect, such a great place to relax. We enjoyed eating outside looking at the wonderful views to the Mediterranean.
I loved being here for two weeks and being able to use the pool nearly everyday! I haven’t swum recently so it was a great chance to practice. I enjoyed spending time with you and my family in the sun. I hope I can see you soon.

Merci pour ce merveilleux séjour au Mas Repenti! Une si belle et spacieuse villa, si élégamment décorée et bien aménagée. Ses jardins sont magnifiques avec une belle piscine et une vue imprenable. La villa était fantastique pour les enfants avec des balançoires dans le jardin et une salle de jeux comprenant beaucoup de jouets. Nous avons demandé à un merveilleux chef de préparer de délicieux dîners pour les enfants et les adultes, ce qui a rendu ce séjour encore plus relaxant. Alexandra nous a également fourni de nombreuses informations intéressantes sur les environs, et notamment recommandé une incroyable plage et un fantastique lieu d'escalade en plein air pour les enfants. Dans l’ensemble, ce fut un séjour des plus fantastiques et nous avons hâte d’y retourner !
What an excellent villa in a wonderful setting. Everything we needed was here and the swimming pool was just right. As previous comments by others, Cédric is a great host. We thoroughly recommend a visit to this area and this villa. Bize-Minervois and Lagrasse were our two favourite places to visit. If you want to treat yourself to a great restaurant in a great setting, Relais Chantonvent in Minerve - book early.

We are extremely delighted with this stay. Everything was perfect, we didn't miss anything. The estate is a charming place to visit, with very beautiful walks to take. We were able to benefit from their advice on activities and attractions nearby. The swimming pool is a plus. The house had all the equipment we could need, very comfortable bedding, functional kitchen… Thank you very much for your welcome!
Une maison et un emplacement fantastique, notre activité favorite était de s'asseoir sur la terrasse couverte pour prendre le petit-déjeuner, le déjeuner et le thé en profitant de la vue splendide.
We stayed here with 8 friends and had a wonderful time. The villa is in a beautiful environment, with a lot of green and hills around. Communication with Sophie was perfect. The place is a bit further away so you do need a car. Would recommend to ask about chef michon. She provided 2 lovely dinners for us !
Le paradis absolu. Ma famille, quatorze d'entre nous de 70 à 1 an, a passé deux semaines mémorables et joyeuses au Manoir Alvère. La maison et le terrain sont magiques. Une promenade facile vous emmène dans le village, et il y a beaucoup de très bons endroits où manger à quelques minutes en voiture. L'arrivée et le départ sont faciles avec la propriétaire et le gardien Georges était sur place en cas de problème. J'envie tous ceux qui se retrouvent dans cet endroit très spécial !
Château d'époque aussi magnifique qu'original. La piscine est fantastique, les enfants ont adoré les gonflables. Chaises longues autour de la piscine, une partie agréable. Les enfants ont également apprécié d'avoir l'étage comme leur propre espace.
Ravis d'être les premiers invités de la saison dans cette maison et ce jardin magiques. La semaine est passée trop vite bien sûr mais nous avons profité du marché de Ribérac. Visites à Bergerac. Les propriétaires étaient des hôtes formidables.
Quel voyage incroyable. Nous serions ravis de revenir. Merci aux merveilleux hôtes.
An absolutely amazing stay – we will return! We had the most wonderful 6-day stay at Petite Maison de Campagne. Set in a peaceful, tranquil location, we woke up each morning to the sights and sounds of cows from the neighbouring farm grazing in the fields – such a lovely view to enjoy while having coffee and breakfast. The pool and sun loungers were exactly what we needed for the hot French summer, and our son loved relaxing in the hammock under the trees. The property itself has been beautifully restored, with everything you could possibly want or need – including Wi-Fi (essential when travelling with two teens!). Our host was fantastic from start to finish. Communication was clear and friendly from the moment we booked, with all the information we needed to find the property and settle in. She even recommended some brilliant places to visit. I had one query during our stay, which she answered promptly and helpfully. The surrounding area offers so much to see and do – we only managed a fraction of it, so we’ll definitely have to come back to explore more. I highly recommend La Maison Nid to anyone looking for a relaxing yet well-equipped place to stay in this beautiful part of France. We loved it and can’t wait to return.
Thank you so much for a wonderfully relaxing stay at your ‘Loft’. We have stayed here many times before under previous ownership, but we must say that you have moved it up several notches! The attention to detail is second to none; from the luxurious ‘The White Company’ products to all the goodies in the fridge and cupboards - very much appreciated. The terrace, garden and pool are just so peaceful that we haven’t ventured far! Most of all thank you for being there and for your wonderful company. We hope there will be many more visits to come. Nous avons passé une semaine très agréable dans votre maison confortable et charmante. Nous pouvons recommander les produits laitiers de l'agriculteur local et l'une de nos visites préférées aura été Chinon. Nous avons aussi découvert le vin de Savennières qui est un vrai régal. Nous aimerions revenir bientôt!
Thank you for letting us stay once again. I wish I could stay longer! I love playing in the garden - it makes me feel really happy because it has lots of space to play in. Sam has really enjoyed roaming around and playing with Mack and Mabel - I have too. Hopefully to see you soon in October and definitely next summer.
My wife and rented Maison Rohmer for a month. the owner who lives in London was accessible by phone, she was absolutely fantastic, very helpful and was there for us by telephone if we had any questions. the location is in the country, very quiet and in a great location for discovering Luberon, hill towns, scenes to sketch and paint, some level dedicated bike trails for bike riding (can rent in Coustellet), so all in all a wonderful experience, the inside of the home was very comfortable, sizeable rooms, great shower, so now hesitation whatever to anyone who is looking for a place in the country side with a pool.
Thank you Karen and Russell for giving us the opportunity to stay in such a beautiful place. The Loft du Vigneron is one of the nicest places we have stayed, and we have stayed in many. The warm welcome we received when we arrived was lovely after our tiring journey. It was great to have you show us around, and your welcome pack was more than generous. The facilities here are all 5-Star; the Loft is spacious and airy, and spotlessly clean. The kitchen is fully stocked with utensils and crockery and everything that you need, and more besides. All the ensuite bathrooms are of the highest standard with fluffy towels and pamper products (I want a new bathroom when I go home - I was spoiled here). Karen and Russell, you really know how to look after your guests and spoil them. We can't wait to come back next year for two weeks - one was not enough!
I cannot say how much I love this amazing old stone farmhouse; it has been so immaculately restored and is both stylish and supremely comfortable. The gardens are beautiful (what a fantastic collection of Salvias) and the infinity pool, with its view over the surrounding countryside, is a dream ( both for proper swimming of lengths and for sunbathing). I could spend all day here. It is lovely to have a choice of outdoor eating areas for long lunches or relaxing dinners. I love the fact the there are lots of delightful historic Bastide towns within easy driving distance, both for historical sightseeing , fabulous food markets and outstanding restaurants (Auberge Le Prieure at Moirax being my personal favourite !) I have visited the house three times now and each visit has been magic.

Nous avons passé un moment formidable, merci. Nous avons visité autant d'endroits que les enfants aient pu le tolérer et nous avons fait le musée Renoir sans rien casser !! Ils ont tous deux adoré la piscine et ont énormément progressé en natation. Notre plus jeune, Hal, est passé de 5 m en nageant provisoirement à 20 longueurs en toute confiance sans s'arrêter. Merci beaucoup de nous avoir fait partager votre belle maison!

Beautiful property in a beautiful tranquil setting. Close to Gordes, but not overlooked. Amenities are good and pool perfect. Only slight issue for some might be need to go through one bedroom to get to next; and stairs step. But for us... perfect.
