Well, when Beverley told me she wanted to bring our children and grandchildren for a 'once in a lifetime' holiday, to celebrate our forthcoming 50th wedding anniversary in October, I must be honest I was negative and full of foreboding! But... Domaine de Nérige! Wow, what a place Bev found while I was moping around saying this won’t work. Not only was the location, 'in the middle of nowhere' absolutely perfect but the house was just beautiful with every facility we could possibly have wanted not to mention Sandie and David constantly going the extra mile if we needed advice. Thank you both for being the perfect hosts. We have not one negative word to say about this beautiful property - the rooms were comfortable, cooled where necessary with AC, the plethora of bathrooms is nothing short of extraordinary. Showers perfect and the supply of local wine and your own olive oil is truly the nicest touch. The games room, the space for kids to play on the terrace culminating in the fantastic pool was everything kids and the whole family would want. We didn’t need to leave here and, in fact, we probably did spend more time here that we would have in a 'run of the mill' villa. So finally, thank you to you both. We would love to see you both again but it would not be with such a heavy group of 'hangers on' although Bev’s decision for us to all be together this year was an inspirational one which worked perfectly. Everyone LOVED it.
Un endroit incroyable. C'est un lieu merveilleux où séjourner et Michael et Denise nous ont très bien accueillis avec une hospitalité chaleureuse et attentionnée. La villa était impeccablement présentée avec tout ce dont on pourrait avoir besoin. La piscine est magnifique, chaude, propre et vous voudrez peut-être y passer beaucoup de temps. Nous souhaitons remercier Michael et Denise pour ces merveilleuses vacances, nous recommandons vivement ce bel endroit et espérons y revenir très bientôt.
Nous avons passé une très belle semaine à La Maison Cabanon. C'était génial de se sentir chez soi ici. Tous les enfants se sont immédiatement détendus. Nous avons eu quelques jours nuageux alors nous sommes allés à Baux-de-Provence. La visite du marché de Saint-Rémy-de-Provence (le mercredi matin) et la découverte de L'Isle-sur-la-Sorgue sont autant de belles choses à faire. Mais nous avons surtout apprécié la fabuleuse piscine ! Un cadre magnifique, une ambiance agréable. Merci.
Nous venons de passer des vacances très réussies à la Villa Bellara. Nous étions sept (dont deux enfants) la première semaine et deux pendant la majeure partie de la seconde semaine. Nous étions certainement à l'aise. La villa est située dans une rue résidentielle calme, donc aucun problème de bruit tôt le matin ! Elle se trouve à environ huit minutes à pied d'une excellente pâtisserie pour acheter des croissants, etc. pour le petit-déjeuner, avec un excellent magasin de fruits en face. Le supermarché est un peu plus loin, mais facilement accessible. La plage est à environ 12 minutes à pied. L'accès aux autres lieux est simple via la gare de Cagnes (Nice ou Cannes) et il existe un bus gratuit pour les Hauts de Cagnes qui valent bien une visite. La propriété est parfaitement entretenue, l'équipement de cuisine de première classe et bien pensé. Il y a une splendide terrasse donnant sur la piscine, avec un auvent au-dessus de la table à manger qui nous a tous confortablement accueilli. Le soir, le petit jardin dispose de lumières sous les arbres, et à minuit, des gerbes jaillissent de l'herbe pour l'arroser. Le jardin, bien que petit, est bien entretenu, entouré de haies, le rendant très privé. Nous avons passé des vacances des plus agréables et mémorables.
Magnifique maison dans un petit village, à deux pas de toutes les commodités dont vous aurez besoin durant votre séjour. La climatisation est un must, tout comme la piscine qui offre une parfaite intimité. La cuisine d’été est très appréciable. Linda est également disponible au besoin et très gentille. Je valide à 100%. Merci pour ce séjour.
We arrived late afternoon and were met by Yvonne who gave us a lovely tour of this beautiful stunning house, such a lovely welcome. I love all of the lovely antique finds in all of the rooms from the hats in the master bedroom to the old magazines to the pram in the barn. Everything has been thought of here we really didn't need a thing. Would really recommend a trip to La Rochelle but you would need to leave early it really does get very busy. We have been truly spoilt staying here. Impeccably clean and tidy, we have loved every minute. We'd love to come back.
Thank you so much for providing this little patch of paradise for our holiday. Such a lovely house and garden, a wonderful view and a haven of tranquility. Suffice to say that none of us wanted to leave.

We have had a wonderfully relaxing and thoroughly enjoyable two weeks at this beautiful gite. It has been fantastically and sensitively renovated both inside and out. The pool is an absolute joy to sit by and relax, read and take in the scenery! Also, Pete has been an excellent host, a mine of local knowledge. We enjoyed visiting Monpazier, Issigeac, Villereal and Sarlat.
Thank you Karen and Russell for giving us the opportunity to stay in such a beautiful place. The Loft du Vigneron is one of the nicest places we have stayed, and we have stayed in many. The warm welcome we received when we arrived was lovely after our tiring journey. It was great to have you show us around, and your welcome pack was more than generous. The facilities here are all 5-Star; the Loft is spacious and airy, and spotlessly clean. The kitchen is fully stocked with utensils and crockery and everything that you need, and more besides. All the ensuite bathrooms are of the highest standard with fluffy towels and pamper products (I want a new bathroom when I go home - I was spoiled here). Karen and Russell, you really know how to look after your guests and spoil them. We can't wait to come back next year for two weeks - one was not enough!
Nous revenons depuis maintenant plus de 5 ans. Nous adorons la Villa Baleyssagues et Frédéric ! Nous aimons tout dans la maison et tous les différents changements et améliorations dans la maison dus au nouveau propriétaire. La piscine reste la même avec sa forme impressionnante ! Le seul point négatif c'est que la maison affiche rapidement complet !!!
Semaine fantastique. C'était un vrai plaisir de pouvoir se balader. Nous avons beaucoup aimé le Graud d'Agde, St Guillem Le Désert et Collioure, l'Hacienda à Pézenas et le marché à proximité, les excellents Violis sur la plage. Il y a tout pour passer de bonnes vacances à proximité de la propriété.
Nous y avons passé deux semaines agréables. La propriété est magnifique et le temps aura été clément. De magnifiques paysages et lieux à visiter.
Grande maison en particulier la piscine, le jardin et les couchers de soleil incroyables. Quartier calme, pour ceux qui recherchent vraiment un endroit pour se déconnecter. Nous avons adoré !
End of a wonderful family holiday at the villa. Everything we could have wished for. We had so many fantastic experiences in Collioure. Wonderful views, we will miss waking up to them in the morning.
We really enjoyed our stay in your house and wished we could have had more time. We spent most of our time in the garden, under the oak tree or at the swimming pool. The evenings are absolutely marvellous with the typical Provence colours and smells. It must be a great place also to spend some time in the winter. At that time it will be probably more time spend inside the house which is beautiful as well and very nice decorated.
Our family gathering of 6 adults and a toddler was thoroughly enjoyed at this lovely villa. It is very large and spacious with huge bedrooms and plenty of bathrooms. It was very generously kitted out, especially the kitchen which had more than enough for our large party. The grounds were very child friendly with safely gates and mainly level surfaces. It was ideally suited to access the lovely town of Pézenas which has an abundance of individual shops and places to eat. We would highly recommend it for a large group and wouldn't hesitate to return
Ma famille y a passé un séjour formidable. Nous avons 2 jeunes enfants (âgés de 1 et 5 ans) et l'appartement était propre, sécurisé, avec des appareils modernes (y compris un lave-linge/sèche-linge), une vue sur l'océan et une belle piscine à débordement sur le toit. Les chambres ont un bon volume, faciles à utiliser, avec contrôle de la température, climatisation et stores occultants. Un lit bébé et une chaise haute étaient disponibles dans l'appartement. Il y a un grand supermarché/magasin de l'autre côté de la rue et l'appartement donne directement sur la promenade de la plage, donc il est facile de se rendre à pied à la marina et aux restaurants de plage. J'espère que nous pourrons revenir bientôt.
Thank you for such an amazing holiday. It's been so peaceful and relaxing. We've loved your beautiful houser, grounds and pool. It's a really special place. We had a lovely day out in Bergerac a we swam at Lac de Pombonne which was lovely - just a few minutes drive away. We also had a nice evening in Périgueux. Mostly though we just enjoyed relaxing on the terrace by the pool! Thanks so much we hope to return.
Maison magnifique - superbement équipée ! Nous avons vraiment apprécié les ventilateurs par temps chaud ! La salle de jeux était super - nous n'avons pratiquement pas vu les enfants de toute la semaine ! Vos recommandations dans les pages violettes étaient excellentes. Une très bonne excursion à Royan pour déguster des fruits de mer. S'asseoir sur la terrasse tout en admirant la vue était magnifique.

Quelle semaine fantastique nous avons eue. Merci beaucoup pour votre hospitalité. Notre fils a adoré le trampoline et la piscine et nos filles ont adoré jouer sous les arbres ombragés de votre magnifique jardin. Les roses sont magnifiques et leur odeur a rempli nos journées paresseuses. Excellente maison, beau jardin, commodités fantastiques à proximité et nous avons vraiment apprécié Saumur aussi. Nous espérons revenir très bientôt s'il vous plaît. En attendant, merci beaucoup.
Thank you, what an amazing holiday we’ve had in your wonderful house, from the swimming pool to the table tennis room and family boule tournaments, we’ve had great fun. We loved. We loved swimming in the river in Nyons and the massive markets. A lovely windy trip up to mount Ventoux with amazing views and cheering on the cyclists!. Vaison la romaine was a nice morning out with the Roman remains and finally a quick wine tasting (and purchase) at Domaine du Tave with Audrey finished it off nicely. Thanks again,
Quelle semaine incroyable dans une maison merveilleuse ! Nous avons apprécié une excursion à Jonzac et à St Georges de Didonne, mais nous avons surtout passé du temps dans la maison avec tout ce qu'elle a à offrir. Salle de jeux pour les parties de ping-pong en famille, la température de la piscine était fabuleuse et la maison elle-même très spacieuse et confortable. Merci pour le panier de bienvenue, la très bonne communication avant notre séjour et pour nous avoir permis de profiter de ce havre de paix !
Prior to arriving, dealing with Pete was easy and this continued with both him and Kate throughout our stay. We’d been in Avignon for week before where it was very hot, this continued in Curzon but the house was lovely and cool throughout. We all had no trouble sleeping which meant we weren’t able to take advantage of the pool for the first morning as we all slept in. When we did get out there, it was wonderful. As a family of 4 we were able to relax and have fun round the pool all day every day if we wanted, including cooking lunch and dinner on the gas BBQ in the outside kitchen which we made full use of. Facilities in the house were great and we relaxed quickly, taking advantage of the welcome package of goodies. We explored the surrounding villages and towns which were in easy reach and a 10 minute drive for bread each morning or a full shop meant we could simply pop out and get something for dinner/breakfast. They really looked after us and each morning we woke to a clean pool and surroundings, including towels waiting for us. We felt truly spoilt during our stay and could have easily booked 3 weeks or more and I imagine Pete and Kate will be managing full summers for a while to come. Thank you Pete and Kate for a memorable stay!

We've had a wonderful week, enjoyed by all. We thought the tapas evening with Emma was great fun and well worth it, she's very knowledgable. We ended the week with lunch at Domaine Gayda, a great recommendation. We were sad to leave such a lovely home which exceeded our expectations and I would love to think that one day we could return. Thank you for your welcome.
