It’s hard to know where to begin to tell you how much we enjoyed our stay. Your property is so well set up and we made good use of the barbecue, tennis court, boules, darts, table tennis and of course, the pool which beats all other swimming pools we’ve ever had on holiday... and the shady areas when the sun got just that bit too hot. So much thought has obviously gone into it all and it made our holiday very special. The four teenage grandchildren we had with us had a ball and we all loved the Lot countryside, its villages and the sunflowers. How can you not be happy when you’ve got fields of them within a few steps from your door? The two Marches Gourmands we went to at Tournon and Saux were brilliant fun - the food on offer at Saux was particularly good and Tournon is such a pretty place. Our daughter loved going for early morning runs, seeing a hare and on two occasions, a deer, amongst sunflowers. Swimming in the Lot, cycling and canoeing are all on our list of favourite things we did. We also have a great picture of three of the red squirrels on the tree near the bolet - what a brilliant place for breakfast. Thank you so very much from all of us. Nous avons adoré notre séjour ! Le gîte était magnifique, parfaitement équipé, et très calme. La piscine était fabuleuse. Les propriétaires sont très gentils et serviables, et les villages et châteaux environnants sont magnifiques et agréables à découvrir.
Très bon séjour! Le cadre et la maison sont idéals pour le repos et pour la détente. Très bien accueillis par Fatima, une amie d’Eva, qui a été très agréable.

Our stay was as much about the garden as the stunning house, the electronic gate at the entrance worked a treat each time we used it. Three of us each had a bedroom and all the beds were very comfortable. The kitchen and lounge were fully equipped so we wanted for nothing. We linked our laptop in to the CD via a two-to-one 3.5mm jack lead which we take everywhere, so were able to listen to our collection of music through quite a reasonable hi-fi system. The large TV, although not HD, was great for any English programmes you just couldn't miss, even on holiday! We made the ten minute scenic drive up to the boulangerie at Bertric-Buree for our baguettes, croissants and pain-a-raisins most days as there are no shops in Lusignac, just a bar restaurant. The croissants were enjoyed sitting outside the kitchen / living room area on the middle floor, which has a stunning view. For our first week, the temperatures were in the mid-thirties so it was lovely to cool off in the pool. With the pool being quite long, you could actually swim, rather than just splash about which was great to keep a little bit of fitness going. Now the garden. As having a very keen interest in natural history, especially butterflies, we contacted the owner and asked if he could leave the grass uncut, so that any wild flowers would be there to attract butterflies for our photography. He duly obliged. This resulted in a count of thirty one species of butterfly just in the garden, with another five spotted whilst out on our travels. Non-British species included Scarce Swallowtail, Swallowtail, Pearly Heath, Mallow Skipper, Map and the star of the show, Large Blue, which were extinct in Britain until being reintroduced recently. The grass areas provided a fantastic environment for butterflies and other insects. This little area truly is a spectacular insect haven. This is without the lavender hedge which runs down one side of the entire drive. No red squirrels, but we watched birds of prey circling as the farmer cut the field in the valley and amongst other species of birds, there were a pair of Golden Orioles which flew by regularly. If you are looking for a modern house in an attractive location with lovely pool, lovely view and ridiculous number of butterflies, this is it!

Just a note to say how much we enjoyed our stay at the Villa Montplaisir. This is a lovely villa in a nice location. The owner could not have been more helpful and we were provided with everything we needed. We would definitely stay here again.

Wow… what an amazing villa, it's just so beautiful. We had an amazing family holiday… Debbie and Brent also made our experience so memorable and really have provided a fantastic service.
Un séjour extra entre amis (une douzaine avec adultes, ados et enfants) dans un lieu magique... un site naturel de toute beauté, aussi magnifique de jour comme de nuit sous les étoiles ; un Mas superbement rénové, où le cachet des pierres anciennes s'allie avec un grand confort (équipement, literie, salles de bains, cuisine...), de l'espace pour chacun, des chambres immenses et une décoration soignée plus qu'originale, chaque objet chaque meuble est choisi avec beaucoup d'esprit et suscite curiosité. Chacun y a trouvé son intimité et activité du jour (pique-nique au bord de la rivière, shopping à Anduze très pittoresque, lecture au bord de la piscine, promenade cévenole... et même révisions du Bac dans un calme propice !). Une préparation du lieu par les propriétaires et des attentions pour notre arrivée très appréciables. A l'année prochaine c'est sûr... On voudrait bien dormir dans toutes les chambres !

Nous avons passé de merveilleux moments dans votre très belle maison ! Ces 2 semaines ont passé beaucoup trop vite et nous sommes tristes de partir. Même si le temps n'était pas très ensoleillé ces derniers jours, nous avons pu nagé tous les jours. La piscine est super et elle va nous manquer. Nous avons visité Minerve, Carcassonne, Béziers, Narbonne et Lagrasse. Des croissants tous les matins au van à 10h, délicieux ! J'adore la décoration et tout ce qui se trouve dans la maison et le design vintage, vous avez beaucoup de style. J'espère revenir un jour bientôt.
Nous avons passé un merveilleux séjour à Le Mas Repenti. Nous avons été 3 la première semaine et la maison complète les trois autres semaines. Le porche avec la grande table et le canapé est fantastique. Dîners le soir et café sur les sofas le matin. Tous mes invités ont adoré. Et tout le monde a adoré la piscine et le pool house.
Spotlessly clean, stunning home. We had everything we needed and more - especially for the children. Unintrusive, super helpful.
The property is out in the countryside and provided a very welcome quite location for a relaxing vacation. We stayed here during early August. The property has character, built in traditional stone and has extensive grounds to explore. There is a wonderful view of the Château de Biron from the front of the property. The château is well worth a visit and if you climb to the top you can pick out the property in the distance. The pool is fantastic and we spent many hours by and in the pool. We had great fun playing water volleyball. The house has all amenities that you want, although the Wi-Fi can be slow, but this has to be expected out in the country as I explained to my children! If staying here in the summer, take a walk just before sunset, out the drive and turn left. Just down the road you will catch some great sunsets and you are likely to see lots of deer at the same time. Visit Monpazier a few miles away. It's a great place to find a restaurant and wonder around this beautiful bastide town.
I liked everything; the location chosen for professional reasons quickly became a second home thanks to the owners, who were very friendly and available, always attentive to our needs and extremely professional. The house is splendid, every detail is carefully arranged.

Magical, inviting, soothing, AMAZING! The villa was truly magical, while also invoking a sense of home. The community areas are large enough that you never feel crowded and there are several places to "hide" within the property for true soul searching/peace with a magnificent view at every turn. Very well maintained and quaint restaurants/shops just a short walk away, but not too close(you still feel tucked away). HIGHLY recommend!!
Great villa, fantastic weather, good location. The children enjoyed the pool and nana enjoyed the shade of the willow! Lovely beaches like home in Cornwall, if only we had the weather! The jet skiing was awesome and kids caught a squid rock pooling, along with many crabs.
Nous passons nos vacances dans cette région depuis plus de 30 ans et c'est sans aucun doute l'un des endroits les plus spéciaux où nous ayons séjourné. Nous prévoyons d'y retourner l'été prochain !
Stayed at the property for two weeks at the end of July. The property has been beautifully renovated and most things are on hand at the villa. The house has everything that’s needed for family and friends to enjoy from a great kitchen to a nice garden and patio and good sized pool. All in all this is a beautiful house in a lovely setting and I would certainly return.
J'ai passé quelques jours en famille au Le Mas Pouget. Le séjour y a été fabuleux, notamment parce que l'endroit est très raffiné, et parce que l'emplacement est idéal pour des excursions dans le parc des Cévennes
We had such a grat time here! We are only sorry that our stay wasn't longer. The children loved the house and especially the swimming pool. Hopefully we will be back!
Nous n avons malheureusement pas pu rencontrer Eva mais nous avons été accueilli par Harold qui est une personne très solaire. la maison est très jolie et très agréable. Les chambres et la salle de vie sont tres spacieuses. Le coin terrasse avec sa plancha, la piscine avec sa petite plage et les transats pour bien se relaxer sont très appréciables.
Maison magnifique, remarquablement restaurée avec goût et parfaitement équipée. Calme absolu et vue magnifique. Accueil parfait et pratique. Et quelle région!

The house was beautiful! Very characterful. Anything you need is present. Plenty to do in the surrounding areas. Contact was good and clear. This house is definitely recommended for your vacation!
Thank you both for a fabulous week. The Loft du Vigneron is superb and so well fitted out. We have never stayed in such a stylish and immaculate property. You were so welcoming and helpful with all your tips and recommendations and we very much enjoyed your company too. The house is beautiful - amazing views, wonderful pool, very comfortable beds. We had a fantastic time - didn't see as much of the area as planned - as everyone so happy playing in pool!
