The Loft is wonderful. Beautiful, elegant and peaceful yet still homely - albeit better furnished than our home. We loved our stay and the fortnight flew by. The gorgeous gardens and pool made for a tranquil holiday and a haven after days out in this lovely area. The extra touches of your welcome pack, first breakfast croissants and drinks in the garden were the icing on a very beautiful cake. Thank you. We look forward to hearing of the success of the main house.
Without reservation I can confirm that this was the best rental we have stayed in - every attention to detail and the care and attention to detail by the owners was simply the best!
This is an idyllic luxury dream. A tranquil abode where resistance against rest and relaxation is futile. Welcoming in 2022 with Kate, Frans, their family and friends felt like home away from home with immediate family. They have created a home where you can freely engage in the beauty of this corner of France in an easthetic space curated to the highest level. We could class them as more than 'friends' - and definitely as 'MTFS'. The only antidote to departing is to plot the return and this has already begun.
Dear owners of Le Grand Mas de Valcros. We have just wanted to let you know how much we enjoyed staying in your home. From the pictures we knew it was going to be a nice villa. However when we walked in we realised it gem! There is really nothing we did not like about your house. Its feels like home to us after one week and it made our family vacation even more precious. We certainly hope to be back in the future!
Wow - what a fantastic place to stay! Hugh and Ian are wonderful hosts and have made sure everything we need us available to make our holiday such a relaxing one. The grounds are beautiful and the pool has been glorious to cool down in the summer heat. It was great to meet Oscar your stunning dog too. Thank you for another wonderful stay at Manoir de Fouilloux. So memorable as it was our little girl Clemmies first holiday!
Thank you for sharing your fantastic home with us. Perfect location and layout of the house, with a great outside bathing area to watch the sunsets with a glass of wine. Laprade not to be missed. If you are prepared to drive a little further Issigeac (Noth East of Eymet) worth a visit with a good selection of bars, shops and restaurants. Big thanks to Olivia, always on hand to help. Nous sommes maintenant de retour chez nous et je tenais à vous adresser mes plus sincères remerciements pour votre accueil à la Maison de Saint-Jean. Votre maison est magnifique. Elle allie le charme d'un ancien corps de ferme au confort d'équipements modernes et stylés. Nous étions 6 mais la maison peut accueillir 8 personnes. Ce sont surtout les extérieurs que nous avons adorés. Même si le temps n'était pas très confortable cet été, nous avons apprécié le très grand jardin, la vue étendue et la piscine chauffée. Nous reviendrons certainement car la région vaut encore quelques détours et votre maison est le point de chute idéal pour la visiter. À bientôt.

It is beautiful spot... We loved the pool and the views and wild-life spotting. We would recommend Poltrot as a beautiful spot for food and a paddle in the river, Grottes de Villars is well worth a visit with kids to see the cave paintings. Aubeterre and Brantôme beautiful.
Beautiful villa in a stunning location. Inside there are large spacious rooms, which are all furnished to a high standard. The property was lovely and clean and well maintained. My husband and I stayed with my daughter and boyfriend, we had the lovely bedroom on the first floor which had a verandah with the most stunning view. I found it difficult to drag myself away from here each morning whilst enjoying my breakfast overlooking the village and church. My daughter had the double on the ground floor which was just as lovely with double doors opening out onto patio area. The villa was large enough for us all to have our own space and privacy. Outside the pool area was stunning, more glorious views. Plenty of sun beds for everyone, a very well equipped area and great pool! I also found it difficult to drag myself away from here, but glad I did as the area is so beautiful. A must is the Gorge du Verdon, the many hill top villages and a visit to the fabulous beaches. After a days sightseeing it was great to come back for a swim before going out to dinner. We did'nt travel far in the evenings as we really enjoyed the hotel in the village. The food was excellent, well presented and good service. Italian was also good. We also enjoyed shopping locally for produce, cooking for ourselves and then relaxing in the garden, followed by a game of boules, what could be better especially after a few glasses of wine! I would recommend a stay here and am looking forward to our return.

Quel plaisir nous avons eu de passer une semaine avec du soleil tout plein, dans votre magnifique villa ! Quatre adultes, huit enfants... et chacun y a trouvé son bonheur. Vous avez transformé ce bâtiment en une maison des plus merveilleuses et, plus encore, en une maison accueillante et confortable, nous nous sentons privilégiés d'y avoir séjourné. Il ne nous manquait rien (sauf peut-être un peu plus de soleil et un peu moins de vent). Tous ceux qui nous y ont rejoint ont exprimé leur même appréciation. Merci beaucoup. Aussi jolie de jour et encore plus de nuit, ce fut le lieu le plus paisible où je suis allée! L'endroit est magnifique et c'est une maison très spéciale.

Nous avons adoré la Maison de la Calade. Une belle villa dans un endroit magnifique avec une vue imprenable. Un cinq étoiles de notre part. Joliment décorée et meublée, d'une propreté impeccable (nous avons rencontré les femmes de ménage à notre arrivée qui étaient adorables, accueillantes et très serviables) très bien approvisionnée en termes de tout ce dont vous pourriez avoir besoin. Nous avions un groupe de plusieurs âges et il y en avait pour tous les goûts, de la place pour discuter ensemble lorsque nous le voulions mais de nombreux recoins pour s'échapper. La piscine de taille magnifique dans le joli jardin a été un énorme succès dans la chaleur d'août. Biot, bien qu'en haut d'une colline, n'est qu'à un jet de pierre et regorge de bons restaurants - nous aimerions revenir un jour.
Nous n avons malheureusement pas pu rencontrer Eva mais nous avons été accueilli par Harold qui est une personne très solaire. la maison est très jolie et très agréable. Les chambres et la salle de vie sont tres spacieuses. Le coin terrasse avec sa plancha, la piscine avec sa petite plage et les transats pour bien se relaxer sont très appréciables.
Nous avons séjourné dans de nombreuses propriétés de vacances différentes en Europe, mais celle-ci était certainement l'une des meilleures. La maison était bien équipée et confortable, l'emplacement excellent et la piscine parfaite. Nous étions désolés de partir - il y avait tellement de choses à voir et à faire dans la région. Nous serions très heureux de réserver à nouveau la villa.
Comfortable house on the edge of Seillans village with lovely views. Great terrace for outdoor eating and a lovely, well maintained pool. Air conditioning in the bedrooms was lovely and silent. Good location for exploring the area, though you could easily just stay put, relax, eat at the local restaurants and shop at the well stocked local Carrefour. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and fully intend to come back.
Des vacances inoubliables ! Nous n'aurions pas pu passer une meilleure semaine dans ce magnifique château, parfaitement équipé pour la détente et le plaisir, avec des journées au bord de la piscine et des repas en terrasse. Nous n'avons jamais ressenti le besoin de partir, si ce n'est pour les incontournables remontants de rosé : nous avons mangé et bu comme des rois. De très bons souvenirs qui nous accompagneront jusqu'à notre prochaine visite, nous l'espérons !
Merci pour ce merveilleux séjour au Mas Repenti! Une si belle et spacieuse villa, si élégamment décorée et bien aménagée. Ses jardins sont magnifiques avec une belle piscine et une vue imprenable. La villa était fantastique pour les enfants avec des balançoires dans le jardin et une salle de jeux comprenant beaucoup de jouets. Nous avons demandé à un merveilleux chef de préparer de délicieux dîners pour les enfants et les adultes, ce qui a rendu ce séjour encore plus relaxant. Alexandra nous a également fourni de nombreuses informations intéressantes sur les environs, et notamment recommandé une incroyable plage et un fantastique lieu d'escalade en plein air pour les enfants. Dans l’ensemble, ce fut un séjour des plus fantastiques et nous avons hâte d’y retourner !
Maison et emplacement parfaits pour profiter du sud de la France, des gens formidables pour vous aider en cas de besoin. Nous avons passé un merveilleux séjour, très confortable et nous étions un grand groupe, la capacité maximale ! Je recommanderai vivement cet endroit !
We have absolutely loved staying here. It's a stunning place - both inside and out. We enjoyed cooking meals in the excellent kitchen, eating on the terrace and had great times pool-side. This was a memorable holiday for us and our adult children - a very special time together for us all. Thank you both for everything you have done to make this happen. We would so love to come back.
The property is absolutely divine. Romantic and picturesque. A real private get-away in the heart of a medieval hill-top village. We were stunned at how quiet it was and loved sitting in the garden in the morning having coffee. We also loved BBQing in the courtyard in the evenings and sitting out past dark to watch the amazing display of stars! The pool was such a delight and the air-con was perfect for a break from the heat in the middle of the day. While we went on several day trips recommended, the village had so much on offer we didn't need to venture out often and can't wait to return!
Nous avons passé une excellente semaine dans cet endroit très calme et verdoyant. Une maison très agréable et confortable, à l'intérieur et à l'extérieur. Terrasse, piscine, transats... C'était super ! À proximité de Pézenas (magnifique), de l'Abbaye de Valmagne (magnifique) et des marchés locaux... La propriétaire est adorable et très discrète.
Fabulous week learning about wine in an amazing setting. Manoir Lemance is the most wonderful, tranquil and stylish place I have stayed in France and I have stayed in many. The owners have taken great care and attention in restoring the beautiful buildings, choosing the internal furnishings and creating the amazing swimming pool and grounds. We were warmly welcomed and looked after really well all week. The local area is full of amazing villages, great vineyards and beautiful countryside. If you are looking for a very French holiday with the added support of English speaking hosts, in the most beautiful setting, then this is the place for you.
