Lovely quiet gîtes with beautiful views over the wine fields. Close to Uzès, a very pretty historical market town (20 min. by car). The gîtes provide everything you need, i.e. comfortable beds, spacious bathroom, cosy sitting room and fully equipped kitchen. There is a swimming pool with lounge beds and our gîte (L'Oliveraie) even had a small private pool. The area is great for walk through the woods and over the wine field. There are restaurants in the area that are a short drive away. We had a great and relaxing time and will definitely be back!
What an amazing mill. Fitted to an outstanding standard - a true home away from home.
This is the third time at Villa Kali and I can't think of any more superlatives. The villa ticks all the boxes and some. The beaches at Grau Agde and Portiragnes are well worth a visit as well as Valros with all its restaurants.
Absolutely beautiful - all of it! I ran in the grounds every morning before it was too hot! Loved the high ceilings and shutters. Beautiful rooms and space for everyone. Loved have the huge living room. Obviously the pool and beautiful surroundings. Fully equipped kitchen and playroom for the kids and adults! Kitchen was brilliant . Loved the range and outdoor dining area next to the pond. Easy to cook for all needs. The owners have been the best hosts (from a distance). Kind and full of knowledge and tips. They have not elevated our holiday. Thank you fo much. I would not hesitate to return!
Nous étions une famille de sept adultes et avons passé une semaine merveilleuse à Challignac. Mark et Gary sont vraiment des hôtes exceptionnels. Le gîte était magnifiquement présenté et d'une propreté impeccable. Tout le nécessaire avait été soigneusement mis à disposition, y compris un savon liquide de luxe: inutile donc d'apporter le vôtre. La cuisine était exceptionnellement bien équipée, avec tous les ustensiles et appareils électroménagers nécessaires. Et si quelque chose manquait, Mark et Gary se sont fait un plaisir de le fournir ! À notre arrivée, nous avons été accueillis avec un généreux choix de fromages, charcuteries, pains, en-cas, vins, bières, boissons sans alcool, thé et café ; un accueil parfait qui nous a évité de courir faire les courses. L'espace piscine était tout simplement divin : une superbe piscine chauffée entourée de nombreux sièges extérieurs et d'une superbe cuisine extérieure. Tout était réuni pour se détendre et profiter. Même si la météo n'était pas toujours de notre côté, nous en avons profité pour explorer les villages et les grandes villes des environs. Nous avons dégusté de délicieux repas dans les restaurants recommandés par nos hôtes. Dans l'ensemble, tout le monde s'est bien amusé et nous reviendrons sans hésiter. Un grand merci à Mark et Gary !
House was spotlessly clean as was all bedding. Absolutely first class. You have thought of everything that a family with young children could possibly need and want for. Catering very good - delicious. You were so helpful with all of our queries and went above and beyond to help.

We have had a wonderful time at your villa, whilst the UK shivered and got rained on, we have been exploring the locality. The villa was everything it claimed to be and much more, our best choice so far in Languedoc. A wonderful holiday!

Foreign and familiar. Grand and intimate. Giving us frivolity and solitude. Château La Roche-Posay had given us exactly what we needed. The host made our stay all the more enjoyable with the perfect amount of attention. Thank you for helping us to open our eyes to a beautiful part of France!
Just a short note to say how much my wife and I loved our stay at Les Faures in France last September. We were amazed and delighted at the size of the house with its many rooms and amenities, as well as the mood of relaxation in the beautiful setting which we were able to enjoy while there for two weeks. We enjoyed the large pool area and the expansive grounds, but we particularly loved the quiet and privacy of the country setting, but still near enough to the small local villages, with interesting cafes, markets and old buildings – just right for local drives to explore the beautiful area. So many exciting features - we would give this property a 5 out of 5!

Merci pour ce agréable séjour au Mas des Rivailles. Notre famille de cinq personnes y a séjourné pendant deux semaines en août 2023 et nous avons passé un très bon moment. Il est très spacieux et moderne, avec toutes les commodités nécessaires pour un séjour confortable. La température de la piscine était parfaite et nous avons trouvé l'eau salée assez agréable. Les transats et l'aménagement de la piscine permettent des moments de détente au bord de la piscine et nous avons apprécié particulièrement la très grande salle de jeux avec table de ping-pong, billard et baby-foot ainsi que de nombreux jouets pour nos trois enfants. Les chambres étaient propres et équipées de draps de qualité et de serviettes moelleuses ainsi que d'un espace de rangement suffisant pour nos affaires. La buanderie/cellier était également très utile pour stocker de la nourriture et laver nos vêtements facilement. Frédéric était serviable et attentif comme toujours et a rendu notre séjour très confortable, faisant venir des ventilateurs supplémentaires lorsque nous en avons fait la demande, car notre séjour coïncidait avec une vague de chaleur. La famille du propriétaire qui vit dans la ferme voisine était très sympathique et serviable et a répondu à tous nos problèmes. L'emplacement de la maison est également idéal pour explorer la région avec de nombreuses villes et activités intéressantes à quelques minutes en voiture. Nous le recommanderons certainement ! A lovely family house beautifuly equipped Immaculate property, all the bedrooms are great with the addition of air con in the master bedroom, great kitchen, bathrooms and perfect showers! British TV to keep the kids entertained. The pool area is sheltered and a real sun trap! Our favourite time was BBQ in the evening on the first floor terrace with beautiful views . Very convenient for a stroll onto the pretty village with bars restaurants and lovely markets. Superb unspoilt beaches only 20 minutes away. Highly recommend going into Narbonne only half an hour away, you must visit the indoor food market.
Nous avons tous adoré notre séjour ici. Nous aurions aimé réserver deux semaines. C'est une maison très traditionnelle, mais vous avez fourni tout le confort moderne nécessaire, sans compromettre l'ambiance du gîte. J'espère y retourner. Nous avons passé des après-midis agréables à la piscine et à admirer le magnifique coucher de soleil depuis l'allée. Nous avons apprécié les spectacles sur la place de Verteillac, devant le bar Le Calice. La belle ville de Brantôme est à visiter absolument.

Thank you for a great 2-week stay here. The house is lovely and we have enjoyed staying here. Can highly recommend the Château de la Rivière vineyard tour, 10 Euros per person and well worth it. Best meals out we had were at Bistro Pharell (the food is sooo good!) and Bistro Maritime in Libourne - great river views from the terrace. Saint-Émilion is a must - so beautiful. If you are a fish lover, a trip out to Arcachon is well worth a visit. Chez Pierre is amazing for seafood. Dunes du Pilat are also worth the climb for the spectacular views! Sunny evenings by the pool are also amazing. Had a great time overall, thanks so much.

We had a wonderful week at Manoir Coutenson. The spacious house is very well equipped. The swimming pool is incredibly warm and the children (even the baby) spent hours in it. The shaded area by the pool was essential as the weather was really hot. We loved the area. It is fairly rural but with easy access to the town. The house is very child friendly with toys, high chairs and plastic bowls and plates and lots of pool accessories. All of which were appreciated by our 5 grandchildren. A fabulous, relaxing holiday. Thank you so much.
