C'est notre deuxième séjour à la Maison Allemans, nous adorons la maison. Quand nous sommes arrivés cette année, Dermod a préparé une salade de viande froide avec du vin et de la bière, le paradis après un long trajet en voiture depuis le Royaume-Uni. Espérons que dans quelques années, nous pourrons revenir avec tous nos nouveaux petits-enfants.
I can confirm that we had a fantastic holiday in Villa Galinette and will certainly use Pure France again in the future.
Fantastic 10 days at Maison Joutard. The highlights:- Fantastic welcome pack. House and garden perfect for our toddlers. Equipped with everything we needed. We visited Cognac, Bordeaux, Villefagnan. Cycling to the bakery in Verdille. Whole experience highly recommended.
Nous avons passé un séjour fantastique à la Maison Brunet malgré la canicule. Nous sommes allés explorer de belles bastides et savourer une cuisine délicieuse sur les marchés locaux. C'était agréable de rentrer après une journée chaude et de se rafraîchir dans la piscine.
Thank you so much for your very warm welcome and generous hopitality. We have really enjoyed the quiet isolation and visiting the bars and restaurants in the village. Thank you one again for a week to remember.
Nous venons de rentrer d'une merveilleuse quinzaine à la Maison Charvin. Ayant séjourné chaque année en France pendant un peu plus d'années que je ne me souviens maintenant, je peux dire en toute honnêteté que c'est l'une des meilleures maisons dans lesquelles nous ayons séjourné. En plus d'être pleine de caractère et idéalement située pour explorer les délices de Carcassonne et de ses environs, la maison elle-même est absolument impeccable avec tant de petites attentions - de deux belles bouteilles de vin pour nous accueillir jusqu'à une trousse de premiers soins dans le salle de bain et un kit de couture dans le tiroir de la cuisine. Et pour la cuisine, eh bien, c'est le rêve d'un cuisinier. Notre plus jeune fille est une cuisinière passionnée et elle était ravie d'être entourée de tous les ustensiles auxquels elle pouvait penser, y compris des couteaux de cuisine décents. Le jardin de la cour est magnifique - le jasmin et le laurier-rose étaient en fleurs pendant notre séjour et le parfum le soir était délicieux ! La piscine, quant à elle, a été très appréciée et bien utilisée par tout le monde. Montlaur elle-même est très jolie. Nous avons adoré le marché et le concert du mardi soir - un excellent groupe de jazz a joué la première semaine et un fabuleux groupe de blues la seconde. Les vins de Dagne était excellents pour le souper et Aurelian, le propriétaire était très sympathique et extrêmement compétent en matière de recommandations de vin. Les amateurs d'histoire apprécieront la riche histoire cathare de la région au sens large et une visite à Lagrasse, juste en bas de la route, s'impose. Dernier point, mais non le moindre, Sharon, la propriétaire, est tout simplement adorable. Si amicale et prête à immédiatement aider. Dans l'ensemble, deux semaines merveilleuses et j'espère que nous pourrons revenir.

We have had a wonderful week in this beautiful house in this stunning location. The sunflowers fields are just gorgeous and we will forever have fond memories of Gascony and the sunflowers. Nous sommes de retour à la maison après de très belles vacances en famille à la Maison Semoussac. Le temps était mitigé (la pluie était bien sûr de mise), mais cela ne nous a pas empêchés de nous amuser. Les enfants ont adoré courir sur le chemin en laissant des petites carottes dans l'espoir d'apercevoir des lièvres et cueillir des mûres, qui étaient abondantes. Les jouets et les livres des enfants étaient merveilleux et (étonnamment pour leur âge) ils ont adoré jouer au Monopoly ! Marian nous a également préparé de délicieux repas. Merci beaucoup.
Magnifique propriété, super équipée, piscine très grande à une température parfaite, terrain exceptionnel, court de tennis en parfait état, espaces communs bien agencés et confortables... On peut difficilement faire mieux pour des vacances en famille! L'endroit convient parfaitement aux enfants et aux moins jeunes... Très propre, confortable, très agréable, communication excellente avec les propriétaires. Le top!
After 2.5 years in the making, everything conspired against us. Well worth the wait! The Loft is exactly as expected and the welcome even better! We loved the ambiance, the garden and the area after the last months of lockdown etc - it has been wonderful. We cannot thank you enough for your generosity - the mobility aid was indispensable and the evening spent getting to know you both was great. Can we also thank you for your incredibly comprehensive welcome pack. We enjoy cooking and we’re very grateful for the extras. Thank you Karen, for delivery on day one - BREAKFAST WAS BRILLIANT! We have really enjoyed the garden - a lot of hard work, we know, but much appreciated. We do hope we keep in touch as we will miss Russell’s lengthy epistles - always a good read! He should write a book; maybe the history of your home with the trials and tribulations of renovating thrown in (‘A Year - or Two - in Minervois’, perhaps?). If you are ever back in the region, you know where we are!
Séjour fantastique - groupe de 10 adultes et 10 enfants. Excellente configuration pour bien divertir les deux groupes et quelques surprises supplémentaires comme une aire de jeux à côté de l'une des terrasses extérieures. La salle de sport et la piscine sont toutes deux immenses, la dernière nous gardant au frais pendant les chauds après-midi. Les propriétaires nous ont également aidés à organiser les services d'un cuisinier local pour certains soirs et ceux d'un producteur de vin local pour une dégustation de vin.
We fell in love with holidaying in France almost 30 years ago and I used to think that my heart belonged to Provence, until we stumbled across beautiful Manoir de Fouilloux, nestled in the lush green countryside of the Dordogne. Hugh and Ian, the hosts of the house are incredibly welcoming and attentive, but equally unobtrusive when you just want to relax on your own. They are very knowledgeable about the area and will give you their time all day, every day should you so desire, along with Oscar, their lovely dog, who is very happy to be fussed over or left alone to sleep in the shade out of sight. The interior of the house is breathtakingly beautiful. It is evident from the moment you step through the door, that so much thought and attention to detail has gone into every corner of the building; from the beautiful stone floors, to the light filled bedrooms with the most sumptuous bed linen (and the most comfortable beds we have ever slept on), to the fabulous showers and well equipped kitchen, every part of the house is simply brimming with everything you could ever need to make your stay as relaxing as possible. From the stunning interior, you step outside to the rear courtyard garden, which is inspired by the Yves Saint Laurent Moroccan garden and it's like nothing you could ever imagine. The vibrant blue that is unique to YSL garden has been matched exactly and is dotted around the garden with careful thought, creating a wonderfully calming area to relax in, with the magnificent tiled pond being the centrepiece of the area. Off the garden is the outdoor kitchen / seating area and again is a fantastically well thought out area, complete with it's own set of glass and tableware (so you don't have to keep going back into the kitchen to get things), outdoor gas barbecue and dishwasher, they really have thought of everything! It is truly the most tranquil place to spend time with family and friends. The pool at the front of the house is magnificent, complete with poolside lights, it is a fabulous place to enjoy in the evening too. Lying on the sun loungers soaking up the sun and looking out over the amazing garden is so restful; you'll never want to leave the house. But leave you must, as there is so much to see in the surrounding area; nearby St Aulaye has a pretty little town square where you can enjoy a relaxing drink, Saint-Jean-de-Côle, a beautiful medieval village dating back to the 11th Century, is so attractive with it's ochre coloured houses and the tranquil river Cole running through it. From Saint-Jean-de-Côle you can easily visit the caves at Villars; being a bit claustrophobic I declined to go down with the rest of the family, but they do come highly recommended! Another very pretty village is nearby Aubeterre, which has the most spectacular views, small selection of shops and restaurants dotted around a vibrant village square and at the foot of the village you can find a river beach, canoeing centre, football club and tennis club. Brantome is a charming town, often dubbed the Venice of Perigord, due to the river Dronne running through it. If you've ever read 'The Matchmaker of Perigord', you will find Brantôme mentioned in this and as you wander around the town, you can really see the characters come to life. It has a good selection of shops and restaurants so is definitely a worthy visit, even if you haven't read the book. Manoir de Fouilloux, is truly a magical place to stay, it is like coming up for fresh air. The only criticism I have of it is that once visited, you will never want to go anywhere ever again, so sorry guys, see you next year...
Nous avons passé un séjour des plus incroyables au Château Périgord. Douze amis de 38 ans ont fêté deux 65 ans, un 60 ans, deux départs à la retraite et un 21 ans. Nous ne pouvions pas penser à un meilleur endroit pour fêter ces événements. La demeure est magnifique et répond à tous nos besoins. Les propriétaires ont été incroyables, merci pour toutes vos recommandations. Cet endroit va terriblement nous manquer, mais quels souvenirs incroyables nous avons, merci !
Le Château de la Ronde est un magnifique endroit. L'accueil y est chaleureux et le service, trés haut de gamme, y est irréprochable. Sa situation en fait un excellent lieu de séjour, que ce soit pour s'y reposer ou découvrir la val de Loire.
Tres belle maison, parfaite pour un grand groupe de personnes comme le notre (10+, plusieurs familles). Tout est là pour les enfants! Hôtes tres accueillants qui ont répondu immédiatement lorsqu'il y avait une demande. En bordure d'un beau petit village, la majorité des choses à faire sont à environ 30-45 minutes de la maison. Nous avons eu un très beau séjour
Absolutely delightful rural but cosy atmosphere with everything you need. Well equipped - sunshine by the pool and warmth by the fire when the evening cooled. Already looking to secure dates for next year.
Had a really lovely stay at Les Marquises and loved the figs from the garden. we enjoyed visits to Nyons market on Thursday, the lavender farm and essential lavender all in the town. Also our visit to the Palais des papes. In Avignon.
Truly magical week here with you mob. What a special family Christmas – full of good food, good friends and good laughs. Already counting down the days until we can come back.
Quel plaisir nous avons eu de passer une semaine avec du soleil tout plein, dans votre magnifique villa ! Quatre adultes, huit enfants... et chacun y a trouvé son bonheur. We visited as 3 families of 4 with 6 children age 7 and under between us. The pictures don’t do the house or grounds justice. It was absolutely wonderful with everything we could have needed for adults and children. Plenty of space, inside and out and the pool that kept everyone happy for hours every day. We would highly recommend to others.
Quelle belle semaine passée dans cette incroyable villa. Philippe a été l'hôte le plus incroyable et le plus gentil. Rien n'est trop compliqué pou lui. Merci pour tout. Le repas au Pourquoi Pas était exceptionnel ! Une belle région de France à explorer. Nous sommes allés à Béziers, Carcassonne, Vendres et Capestang. Tout était charmant. Les vélos étaient également parfaits pour explorer la région. Merci beaucoup ! Nous espérons revenir.
Lézigno affords an extraordinary slice of regal French splendor - a small palace rather than a château - beautiful gardens and pool. Peaceful and elegant. The staff, Thierry and Nadine were kind and helpful.
Many thanks for a wonderful stay. You have made the place very comfortable and welcoming and so safe for children. So many interesting things to discover in the region to. In one word it has been the 'perfect' holiday for the whole family (10 of us!). We do hope to return, 'donc je vous dis à bientôt et mille mercis'.

We have just returned from our holiday at your property which we all thoroughly enjoyed. I wanted to write to give feedback on our stay as I understand we were the first guests at the property. It was was the exact property we were looking for, in a quiet rural setting with the farm next door and the property itself offered everything we needed. The pool area was particularly well configured, safe for children and practical. It was so relaxing and particularly for my brother who enjoyed three days with us during the break of his six month tour in Afghanistan. It was so perfect we are very tempted to book it again for next year. Please pass our thanks on to all the owners for arranging the child facilities and to Gary and Louise who kept the pool immaculately.
Converted farmhouse near Gordes. Beautiful property both inside and out, lounging by the pool listening to the birds and looking at the treetops gently swaying in the breeze is a little slice of heaven.
