We are finally home and now reflecting on happy memories of our wonderful holiday in France and particularly our 10 nights spent here. Where do we begin to ever thank you for all that you did and for making our holiday so special. We felt like we had our own personal butler looking after us throughout our stay. Even prior to our arrival we welcomed the emails, the ease of booking and then promptly replying to any query that we had , as well as the phone call to offer help and support the week before we were scheduled to arrive. We really appreciated the welcome basket of goodies and all the other little things that you had thoughtfully put in the fridge, making our arrival into the gîte a very warm and welcome one. Your 'blood, sweat and tears' have truly paid off as we could see the attention to detail that has gone in to making this a luxury gîte for your guests. We noticed the quality of furnishings and fittings, bed linen, sumptuous soft towels and then separate towels laid out for us by the pool, all of which made for an exciting stay ahead! The beds were extremely comfortable and accompanied by the peace and tranquility at night meant we both woke each morning feeling fully refreshed! We particularly enjoyed our time spent around the swimming pool and also using the outdoor kitchen/BBQ. Everything was spotlessly clean and we know that you ensured the pool area was cleaned down for us every morning. We were blessed with good weather too. The views from the terrace were stunning and we never tired from sitting there overlooking the local Cuzorn area and the valley beyond. It was a pleasure getting to know you and hearing about your journey from Essex to Lot-et-Garonne. For us, as first guests it was a privilege staying at Lasserre and we will be talking about you and our holiday for years to come. I equally hope that for you and Kate your first guests did not let you down and we have left a wonderful impression on you too! We sincerely hope that you are rewarded for the fruits of your labour and whilst we would like you to have a busy season, just secretly we would like to keep this little bit of heaven purely for us!

Great house in a super location. So quiet and relaxing. Loved the coypu in the pond - a bit special! Visited lots of towns and villages with the Dordogne in easy striking distance. Had a great 2 weeks! Thanks!

C'est une belle propriété qui a reçu beaucoup d'amour et nous avons remarqué à quel point elle était différente d'une location de vacances ordinaire. Particulièrement avec les petits bibelots et trésors venus d'ailleurs (j'ai adoré ça !).
OMG! WOW! FAB! What an amazing place! We immediately felt so relaxed – it felt as though we have been here for weeks, not days! We especially appreciated the quality beds, bedlinen and bathrooms and the endless attention to detail; flowers, games, décor equipment …. too much to mention! And then there was the pool area – just a dream! We loved the fireplace, lounging area and gardens – we took full advantage of the veggies – gorgeous too we are booking our next trip! With enormous thanks to you both. What a fabulous job you have done with the house! We have thoroughly enjoyed our stay and only wish we had longer – See you again.
Belle villa. Nous avons passé un séjour fabuleux dans cette magnifique villa. C'est dans un joli village calme. La piscine est parfaite pour deux et la villa est très confortable. Nous reviendrons certainement bientôt.
A lovely property to spend one week in! Despite the very unpredictable weather, we were able to walk around the area and very much enjoyed the swimming pool every day – what a lovely temperature! We would recommend a visit (or two) to the local boulangerie, and – when open – La Place du Marché has some interesting items too. We visited Angers and Chateaubriant, both were worthwhile trips. We have had a very relaxing week in one well-equipped longère.
Belle et vaste demeure décorée avec soin composée d'une maison équipée de 2 salons, une grande cuisine parfaitement équipée, de 4 chambres et autant de salles d'eau à l'étage. Un gîte à l'extérieur avec 3 chambres et salon, une magnifique salle conviviale avec table de ping-pong, billard, bar complètement équipé et home cinéma. Mark, malgré la distance, est très réactif et sympathique. Un de ses amis est venu, s'assurer, le lendemain de notre arrivée, que nous étions bien installés. La maison est bien placée pour visiter les villages aux alentours : Bergerac, Issigeac, boucle de la Nette, château de Biron, Villareal... A refaire l'été pour profiter de la majestueuse piscin! On recommande VIVEMENT!
Thank you so much for yet another fantastic vacation here at your lovely Camirout. This year the weather has been perfect so we really enjoyed our trips to Bordeaux, Saint-Emilion, the caves and canoeing on the River Du Auemant-du-Dropt. We will luckily see each other again next year - only 50 weeks to go!
Très bon séjour! Nous étions 8: tout s'est très bien passé. La maison est agréable et conforme à la description: les 4 salles d'eau sont appréciables!
I enjoyed a wonderful stay at Rusty Shears with friends. The hosts Kirstie and Russell have thought of everything and are on hand if you need anything at all. Beautiful decor, spacious living area and bedrooms. Comfortable beds and powerful showers. The patio and outdoor area is also lovely with great views across surrounding land. The gite is in a lovely peaceful location, but close to historic towns if you like to explore. We also went on a fantastic local wine tasting experience recommended by Russell.
I cannot say how much I love this amazing old stone farmhouse; it has been so immaculately restored and is both stylish and supremely comfortable. The gardens are beautiful (what a fantastic collection of Salvias) and the infinity pool, with its view over the surrounding countryside, is a dream ( both for proper swimming of lengths and for sunbathing). I could spend all day here. It is lovely to have a choice of outdoor eating areas for long lunches or relaxing dinners. I love the fact the there are lots of delightful historic Bastide towns within easy driving distance, both for historical sightseeing , fabulous food markets and outstanding restaurants (Auberge Le Prieure at Moirax being my personal favourite !) I have visited the house three times now and each visit has been magic.
Nous avons adoré le piano et en avons joué tous les jours. Nous avons également adoré la piscine car elle très bonne tout en restant rafraîchissante. Merci Frédéric, jolie maison, faut-il vraiment rentrer?
We stayed here with 8 friends and had a wonderful time. The villa is in a beautiful environment, with a lot of green and hills around. Communication with Sophie was perfect. The place is a bit further away so you do need a car. Would recommend to ask about chef michon. She provided 2 lovely dinners for us !
We have had a great holiday here. The house is lovely and we enjoyed exploring the local area. We loved playing in that pool overlooking the beautiful scenery. We will definitely be back. Many thanks.

Nous avons passé 2 trés bonnes semaines dans la maison. La location correspond exactement aux photos publiées sur le site et elle était trés propre à notre arrivée. Les propriétaires nous ont fourni un large descriptif de la maison, des personnes à contacter en cas de soucis, des visites à faire nous permettant ainsi de passer notre séjouren toute tranquilité. Le proriétaire est facilement joignable; un agent est sur place en cas de soucis et une personne se charge de l'entretien de la piscine tous les 3 à 4 jours. La maison est idéale pour 2 couples avec enfants car il y a des chambres et 1 salle de bain au rez de chaussée et à l'étage. Nous conseillons vivement cette location et merci à Terry et Carol pour l'accueil.
At L'Oliveraie, we felt like God in France as usual. From the sunny terrace, with a glass of wine in hand, a cheese nearby, we enjoyed the vines in the valley below us in ‘deafening’ silence, watched the olives come out of the blossom and listened to the cheerful twittering of the birds. The flat of the ever friendly and helpful hosts Esther and Leonard is furnished with taste. A touch of nostalgia with the look of today. The kitchen is fully equipped, the bathroom is comfortable. Everything not only looks new, but is new. From the first moment, we felt at home here. The nearby forests invite you to go for a nice walk. By the way, you can walk everywhere in the area. Tip: the route along the medieval village of La Roque-sur-Ceze with the waterfalls nearby. In the village of Tresques, near Domaine Cadignac, we imagined ourselves in the France of old. A medieval tower with an exhibition of contemporary art, a bakery and grocery shop, a water spring where the villagers tap their daily drinking water and a good winemaker. Where do you still find these villages? The residence is conveniently located for visiting larger cities. Half an hour’s drive and you are in Orange with memories of the Dutch royal house or in the papal city of Avignon, where you can browse in one of those real French bric-a-brac markets in a suburb every Saturday morning. Or you can walk around Nîmes Collesseum after an hour’s drive and have visited the impressive aqueduct built by Romans on the way there. The ancient city centre of Nîmes and of historic Avignon are also an eldorado for funshoppers. In short, the fully equipped and rustic L'Oliveraie was an ideal base for us to (re)discover French nature and culture. We will definitely come back here again!
It has been amazing seeing so many of our family enjoying being here in your beautiful château. All able to have fun together - it really is a wonderful place.

Our week in your beautiful home has gone far too quickly. We have really enjoyed the era and explored Uzes and its restaurants. There is still so much to do and we hope to be back. Many thanks for your welcome and discreet hospitality. The tortoises were a great distraction!
Les Ramparts étaient exactement ce dont nous avions tous besoin après les deux dernières années et demie. Spacieuse, très bien aménagée et avec un beau jardin et piscine. Ma femme et moi passons rarement des vacances tranquilles, nous sommes plus enclins à explorer, visiter et généralement sortir, mais pas cette fois, et la maison et le village dans lequel elle se trouve étaient parfaits pour cela. Puimission est un charmant petit endroit préservé. Certes, il n'y a pas grand-chose là-bas, mais c'était très bien, un tabac, un café et un restaurant étaient tout ce dont nous avions besoin. Votre maison avait tellement d'espace pour se détendre et respirer, même si nous étions sept là-bas. Il n'y avait jamais trop de monde, personne ne se marchait dessus, c'était l'endroit parfait où séjourner. Pure France a été utile et efficace sans problème, et vos e-mails et conseils ont été inestimables. Je n'ai jamais eu affaire à une agence et à un propriétaire aussi proches et à l'écoute, et cela a vraiment fait la différence à la fois sur l'anticipation des vacances et sur notre séjour lui-même. Peut-être le plus grand compliment que je puisse vous faire, c'est qu'il n'a fallu qu'environ 36 heures avant que l'un de nos invités, je pense que c'était notre plus jeune, nous a suggéré de le réserver pour l'année prochaine ! Le temps nous le dira, mais je n'hésiterais pas à revenir et je recommanderais volontiers Les Ramparts à tous ceux qui recherchent une pause vraiment relaxante dans un cadre magnifique. Votre service a été exceptionnel et nous vous en sommes tous profondément reconnaissants.
Un endroit réellement aussi charmant que ses hôtes. Le sentiment d'excitation que vous ressentez lorsque vous tombez sur un trésor ne nous a pas quittés de toute la semaine. Les photos ne lui rendent pas justice. Nous nous sommes sentis complètement chez nous. Le chant des oiseaux, des enfants rieurs et la vue d'un cerf dans les vastes jardins étaient des moments magiques. Dans une superbe région de la France avec d'innombrables endroits où séjourner. À découvrir.
Agréable séjour, la maison est très bien située. Nous avons aimé le Palm Beach Club à Les Vagues. Dans l'ensemble, une superbe semaine.
What a truly incredible place to stay. The owners were so welcoming and could not do enough for us during our stay when needed. The château and grounds relax you immediately when you arrive. There is so much space and every facility you need. This venue is a must for your holiday.
