Nous avons dîné à l'appartement le soir car nous ne voulions pas sortir ! Nous venons de passer quelques jours dans l'appartement de luxe avec piscine. La piscine chauffée avec la vue est incroyable. La maison est bien équipée et nous avons dîné à l'appartement le soir car nous ne voulions pas partir. L'hôte habite à l'étage et a été très serviable, nous récupérant au bas de la colline avec nos sacs de courses ! Nous avons utilisé les taxis Uber pour nous rendre à Nice et à l'aéroport, ce qui a bien fonctionné.
You could not wish for more in a holiday accommodation. Everything about this place is perfect – the warm welcome by the hosts, the beautifully designed and furnished gite, the very special location and brilliant views over vineyards, forest and softly rolling hills, the helpful recommendations from Esther and Leonard. We only have one regret – and that is that we didn’t stay long enough.
A beautiful home in a private location- a perfect base. For us, the best bits- The property is all yours. No near neighbours, nobody overlooking you, a private pool (enclosed which is great for young kids). There's loads of grass areas as well, plus a barn with table tennis/ darts etc. There are a lot of fruit trees at the property and we even enjoyed some of these whilst there, though it is possible these attract some extra wasps though this was not a real issue during our stay. The house is 20/25minutes from Bergerac airport, ideal! The location is remote so don't expect to walk in to the local town, and the town itself isn't full of things to see etc. For us, our favourite trips out are Limeuil, Le Bugue, Tremolat and Cadouin for picturesque towns with quaint shops and nice cafes! We booked the Manoir de Monflanquin in Oct 2020. It was between lockdowns and it was a very weird and scary time for us as a family. We were so looking forward to the holiday. We then postponed it due to the travel restrictions in 2021, we just didn’t want to risk it. It’s the longest time we’ve ever waited for a holiday. Our holiday in Monflanquin was the best holiday we’ve ever had and we’ve been on some great ones! The house was elegant but robust enough to cope with the 9 of us. It was better than the photos we’d been pouring over for two years. We never got used to the views, the space and beauty of the place. The pool, garden, hammocks, table tennis, badminton net and pool table kept us fully entertained. The kitchen was such a lovely place to be and so delightfully organised. We all took it in turns to cook and had gorgeous evenings outside chatting and eating at the tables out front. The weather was incredible - we had days of glorious sunshine and then spectacular electrical storms. When it rained we just wandered into Monflanquin, set up camp in a pretty cafe and played cards. The view of Monflanquin from the garden always made me pause and remember how lucky we were. The views of the house as we strolled round the fields also gave us joy. It sat so firmly and proudly on its plot. Please thank the owners for providing such a lovely place for us to all get together. It was perfect. Thank you from us all.
Mas de Clouze is a stunning, peaceful place! We had an amazing family holiday, and the setting was absolutely beautiful. We loved exploring the grounds and lounging by the pool, and eating on the patio and in the bar area was a real treat. There’s plenty to do around the gite, too - great walks, pétanque, table tennis and of course the heated swimming pool.

Beautiful location, spacious rooms with large estate and very friendly owners and staff. They do their utmost to make the stay perfect. Definitely recommended.
Nous avons passé un moment des plus merveilleux à la Maison de Saint-Jean. La maison était charmante, il y avait tout ce dont nous avions besoin et Rosetta [la gouvernante] était très serviable et accueillante. Tu as tellement de chance de l'avoir !
I cannot say how much I love this amazing old stone farmhouse; it has been so immaculately restored and is both stylish and supremely comfortable. The gardens are beautiful (what a fantastic collection of Salvias) and the infinity pool, with its view over the surrounding countryside, is a dream ( both for proper swimming of lengths and for sunbathing). I could spend all day here. It is lovely to have a choice of outdoor eating areas for long lunches or relaxing dinners. I love the fact the there are lots of delightful historic Bastide towns within easy driving distance, both for historical sightseeing , fabulous food markets and outstanding restaurants (Auberge Le Prieure at Moirax being my personal favourite !) I have visited the house three times now and each visit has been magic.

Without reservation I can confirm that this was the best rental we have stayed in - every attention to detail and the care and attention to detail by the owners was simply the best!
Nous avons passé de merveilleuses vacances à la villa. La villa est idéale, spacieuse et joliment décorée. Les enfants ont adoré la piscine et la table de ping-pong ! C'est une base idéale pour visiter la région. Le marché de Pézenas est à ne pas manquer. Nous avons navigué sur bateau, monté des chevaux, loué des vélos à Marseillan et vu des flamants roses ! Une merveilleuse semaine ! La Maison Estephe était absolument exceptionnelle, tout ce que nous aurions pu souhaiter. Charmant petit village, pain frais et croissants de la petite boulangerie tous les matins, le temps était magnifique, beaucoup d'explorations, avons dégusté du vin et découvert le magnifique port de Mèze. Une semaine exceptionnelle. Nous devrons regarder les dates disponibles pour l'année prochaine lorsque je connaîtrai les dates de mes prochaines vacances.
Just a note to say we had a fantastic holiday at Maison Mascarille - please pass on our thanks to the owners. The house is a real home from home in a fabulous location and we all enjoyed every minute of our holiday. Also once again great service from yourselves.
Thank you for a fabulous stay in Vouvant and all the kind hospitality you showed us. The kids have loved having the fabulous pool all to themselves. We've had great trips out to the Isle de Ré and the beaches. We are sad to be leaving !
We had a wonderful holiday here, the garden and swimming pool area is a real gem and the surroundings are beautiful. We enjoyed visiting the markets in Nyons and Vaison la romaine, the Roman ruins in Vaison and Sault and the cave paintings at Chauvet-pont d’acr are astonishing, we also enjoyed the local wines, it was very special drinking Audrey Latards wonderful wines knowing they are from the vines at the end of the garden, Thank you.
Had a lovely relaxing 2 week stay. John and Annie are gracious hosts - lovely touches - wine and cheese and flowers. Fabulous palces to visit - La Rochelle, Fontenay, Plage des Belagus. Vouvant is a charming village. Ideal for a great holiday.

Dès l'instant où nous avons franchi les portes de la Maison Charvin, nous savions que c'était la maison idéale pour nos vacances - les cris de joie des petits-enfants (et de leurs parents) à la vue de la piscine et du jardin environnant suggéraient que la maison serait plus que répondre aux exigences des trois générations de la famille - elle l'a complètement fait. L'attention portée par la propriétaire, Mme W., aux détails et son anticipation de tous nos besoins ont été très appréciées, tout comme son aide supplémentaire pour traiter avec le mécanicien local (pneu crevé) et le dentiste (dent cassée) qui allait au-delà de l'appel du devoir et qui ne sera pas oublié - merci beaucoup. Nous avons passé de merveilleuses vacances et n'hésiterons pas à recommander la Maison Charvin à notre famille et à nos amis.
Nous avons apprécié notre séjour dans votre magnifique maison de vacances. Nous avons adoré le mobilier et la décoration, notamment les cartes ! Le côté des collines est tout simplement génial ! Nous faisons écho aux commentaires de vos précédents invités dans votre belle maison et votre jardin. L'attente a été longue avant d'arriver ici, mais cela en valait la peine. Tant de vignobles, tant de châteaux mais si peu de temps. L'un de nos souvenirs impérissables restera d'avoir eu pied au milieu de la Loire sur le lit de la rivière. Nous espérons que la rivière reviendra bientôt.
Thank you so much for an amazing stay, how will we cope without the view!!!! Main highlights include, hanging around the house, Mount Ventoux for go carting and tubing etc, watching the Tour de France at Grignan, Nyons for great markets and music in the evenings, les Barons perches Nyons for high ropes and Vaison la romaine.
We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful property. It provided everything we needed for our family reunion of 3 families – fabulous pool, large garden, lots of outside sitting/dining areas, beautiful and spacious interiors, a large and very well equipped kitchen (we loved the ice dispenser!). The children (1-5) loved the nearby lake where they paddled, splashed about and built sandcastles. Plenty of shade and grass and a good restaurant. We had amazingly good weather so were mostly outdoors but if one hit a rainy day, there is plenty of entertainment (great dvd collection) inside. All in all, a very happy choice, enjoyed by young and old! The Bruns family from Germany, Scotland and Ireland
