Nous avons été accueillis par Michael et sa femme qui nous ont fait faire une visite complète des Fumerates. Nous avons défait nos valises et avons pu nous imprégner de la beauté des lieux. Dès l'instant où nous sommes entrés, nous avons pu constater que beaucoup d'amour et de soins avaient été apportés à leur maison, jusque dans les moindres détails. L'emplacement, absolument parfait, à côté de l'une des plus belles villes perchées du sud de la France : Saint-Paul-de-Vence. Bel endroit à explorer et où sortir dîner en plein air. Ne manquez pas les restaurants Le Tilleul et La Colombe d'Or. Mais ne manquez pas non plus l'occasion de préparer votre propre dîner et de manger en plein air à la propriété. La vue sur la piscine, la ville et la mer azurée au loin ajoute à l’expérience culinaire ! Les Fumerates sont situés dans un endroit parfait - loin de l'agitation de Nice, Cannes et Monte Carlo et pourtant ces villes sont (vraiment) facilement accessibles. Un supermarché, une boulangerie et un grand centre commercial se trouvent à quelques minutes en voiture en bas de la colline. Nous en avons profité pour voir le plus de choses et de sites qu'il est possible de voir - oui, j'ai besoin de vacances après mes vacances ! Pendant la canicule en France, nous étions heureux de retourner dans la villa qui disposait de la climatisation dans le salon principal et dans toutes les chambres. Nous avons également bien profité de la magnifique piscine. À contrecœur, nous avons dû quitter Les Fumerates et continuer notre voyage vers la Provence. Nous aimerions sans aucun doute revenir - mais la prochaine fois avec un rythme plus tranquille ! En fonction de votre itinéraire pour visiter la Côte d'Azur, comme il y a tellement d'endroits à voir (nous ne sommes même pas allés en Italie), je vous conseille vivement d'envisager 2 semaines aux Fumerates. Vous ne le regretterez pas ! Vraiment une expérience mémorable pour la vie !

Loved The Garden Cottage from the first photo we viewed on line. We had the warmest welcome from Caterina and Stephen. The cottage lived up to and beyond expectations. For anyone looking for total peace and tranquility this is the place to find it. On the other hand the area offers a mass of beautiful places to visit, within a short driving distance. You also have the luxury of your own swimming pool, surrounded by a beautiful fragrant garden. Caterina and Stephen go out of their way to make you welcome and are a font of knowledge of the area, but manage to do this without being intrusive. The perfect hosts. I hope that this little cottage will continue to enchant those who are lucky enough to find it.
Loved being able to gather in so many places throughout the day. What a pleasure to spend time in your beautiful château. Thoroughly enjoyed this luxurious holiday.

Nous nous sentons tellement chanceux d'avoir eu cette chance d'explorer les magnifiques endroits autour de la maison et de séjourner dans cette maison.

Une properiété absolument délicieuse dans une partie du monde magnifique. La propriété est très bien entretenue et rustique. Je peux la recommander à tout groupe envisageant un séjour en Dordogne. Notre séjour a été en mi-avril lorsque le temps commence à s'améliorer. 26 degrés lors de notre dernier jour, parfait!
Perfect peace and luxury. Château Velouse is the perfect place to relax: large, beautifully furnished bedrooms, luxury bathrooms, extensive walled grounds, an orchard, seats tucked away under shady trees, well equipped large kitchen and a heated swimming pool with comfy beds and parasols. The château is far enough from the road to ensure that bird song is the loudest noise you will hear. We had a marvellous week with a large group of friends ( 15 for dinner one night ) and the château never felt crowded. The outdoor dining terrace was perfect of an evening and we sat late into the night laughing, drinking and playing giant jenga! This venue is perfect for a group of friends or family to spend quality time together in beautiful surroundings. You do need a car to get out and about and Bourges is well worth a visit when you can tear yourself away from the pool.
The highlights for me were swimming lengths in the warm pool, strolling around the beautiful garden with all the different types of trees (olive, fig, pomegranate etc) and exploring the delightful surrounding Provence countryside in its full glory. Despite being a large group of people, the house always felt cool and spacious and the amenities functioned perfectly. There is also a marvellous restaurant within walking distance. Thank you again for making my holiday so enjoyable.
Nous avons passé une semaine agréable en profitant de cette belle maison et de la piscine, des petits-déjeuners et des barbecues à l'extérieur. Nous avons eu une météo très variable mais cela nous a permis de découvrir Périgueux et Saint-Émilion. Nous recommandons vivement Aubeterre et le bar Brasserie de Verteillac Le Calice. Thank you for a fabulous two weeks at the Loft! The house is lovely and has been fitted out with everything we needed for our stay. The kitchen was a dream to cook in and the bathrooms were like staying in a 5 star hotel! However, our stay was made truly complete by your wonderful warm hospitality. It would not have been the same without your superb hosting skills! Lastly, thank you for letting the girls play with Mack and Mabel - it was definitely a high on the list of things they are going to miss after leaving the Loft. You've even cured their fear of dogs! All the best for the rest of your plans for the property!

Nous avons passé un agréable séjour en France. Une propriété magnifique!
La Villa Azure est une belle propriété et un endroit idéal où séjourner. Nous le recommandons vraiment! Nous avons été accueillis par le très agréable propriétaire, Jean Luc, un hôte merveilleux qui nous a fourni de nombreuses informations sur la villa elle-même et ses environs. La Villa Azure est une propriété privée fermée située dans un quartier résidentiel calme. L'emplacement est en montée, par rapport au front de mer et il y a plusieurs bons supermarchés proposant des produits frais à proximité. La gare locale se trouve à quelques pas, ce qui est idéal pour explorer les sites touristiques voisins de Nice, Antibes et Monaco. La villa est très confortable et spacieuse, avec de nombreux espaces distincts tant à l'intérieur qu'à l'extérieur pour que la famille puisse se détendre ensemble ou en petits groupes. Elle est bien entretenue, propre et bien meublée. Elle dispose d'une grande cuisine moderne et bien équipée. Distributeur de glace, climatisation dans toutes les chambres également. Le Wi-Fi pour les adolescents était parfait et les chaînes TV britanniques étaient une bonne surprise.
Galina était une hôtesse formidable et accommodante. Nous avons apprécié notre séjour dans sa villa. Les photos et les descriptions sont exactes. À noter simplement que les chambres communicantes du premier étage ont une entrée indépendante. De manière plus générale et même s'il y a quelques éléments qui pourraient être améliorés, nous recommanderons certainement la villa.
Thank you so much for making our holiday such a comfortable one. This house is so cosy and well-equipped, especially the kitchen! Our boys loved the wooden die and boules. We have used Pure France for 5 years now and this has been by far the best holiday home! We particularly appreciated the discrete, yet available presence of the owners and the e-mails were definitely very helpful with information on which places to visit.

My wife and I have been visiting France for over 20 years and The Loft is the best property we have stayed at. The photographs on the website do not do it justice. Russell and Karen have fitted out The Loft with wonderful taste and all of the bathrooms are top quality including the selection of toiletries left for their guests to use. Their attention to detail is second to none. We received an extensive welcome pack when we arrived at the house and Karen even delivered fresh pastries for breakfast on the Sunday morning from the local Boulangerie. Outside the house there is a beautiful pool and garden but the jewel in the crown is the large sheltered "porch area". This is a half open and half covered space off the front of The Loft where you can choose sun or shade during the day. The BBQ is there along with a big dining table and also sofas for relaxing. It’s a fab place to eat and drink during the day or on an evening with a lovely view of the extensive gardens. Rieux Minervois is a nice little town situated in the middle of the Minervois wine region It has a good Italian restaurant within 2 minutes walk from the house, which Karen kindly booked it for us for the night we arrived. The food was very good. The town is also well placed to visit Carcassonne, Narbonne and several of the coastal towns; we particularly enjoyed Gruissan. It is also surrounded by many other small villages with excellent restaurants if you want enjoy a lazy lunch during your holiday. Karen will even book them for you if you ask. Overall we spent a lovely week in The Languedoc. Thank you Russell and Karen for your hospitality and for going to such lengths to make our holiday so memorable.
We have just returned from a fantastic holiday in Fitou, staying in this lovely and comfortable villa. I agree with other reviewers, the pictures do not do the property justice. It is spacious with a very high finish throughout maintaining a very homely feel. Our party consisted of 2 families with 4 kids (6, 6, 2 and 2), they loved it. As for the area, well it's a really special region of France. The location is perfect for day trips to the regions finest attractions (Carcassonne, Collioure, Gruissan etc...) and equally relaxing staying local. Fitou and nearby Leucate Village are charming and the local beaches are lovely, unspoilt and crowd free. There is as much or as little to do here as you'd like. We will certainly be coming back to the area and hopefully to this villa again.
Une maison spacieuse brillante et bien équipée en plein cœur de la belle campagne. Facile à faire du shopping dans une petite ville très locale (à 3 miles) qui était totalement préservée et était évidemment « française ». Très simple de se promener directement depuis la porte le long de ruelles de campagne tranquilles dans la campagne vallonnée, puis revenez vous détendre dans le jardin exceptionnellement grand et une merveilleuse piscine. Il y avait tellement de pièces d'équipement de jardin/de jeu intérieur différentes pour s'assurer que vous ne perdriez jamais quelque chose à faire. John et Jo ont été des hôtes brillants et se sont extrêmement bien occupés de nous, s'assurant que nous avions tout ce dont nous avions besoin. Leurs cadeaux d'œufs, de pain et de crumble de pommes (et plus encore) ont été reçus avec gratitude et ont été une belle touche. Nous vous recommandons vivement d'y séjourner et de profiter de l'environnement. Nous avons passé un super séjour.
We had an incredible family vacation at Château Chante L'Oiseau, celebrating the anniversary with a large group. The castle, the other building and the extensive private grounds are beautiful and very relaxing, we had everything we needed and the place was spotlessly clean. The hosts had thought of everything and we can't wait to come back

We have had such a lovely week staying here. The house has everything you could need and the pool is so nice. Hugh and Ian have need fantastic hosts and we appreciate very much, the gift of plums and grapes from the garden.
We have had at the perfect family holiday at Le Manoir de Duras. The tomatoes from the garden were a delicious bonus! We all loved the pool and laying on the sun beds late a night watching the stars. Has some great meals in town and daily boulangerie too. A trip to the chocolate factory is a must. perfect on a rainy day for the kids! The house is absolutely stunning. were all agree one of the best places we've ever stayed. Thank you.
Better than it looks in the photos. We are a fussy family from Guildford - this villa ticked all our boxes and more. Comfy beds always a must. Seillans is a picture postcard village. Back soon...
