Great feeling of space with plenty of room for children to play. Pool was superb and much used. The childrens swimming skills improved immensely. Thank you Takayla for lovely food and for accommodating late arrival and intolerances. Nick and Takayla were available and friendly without being intrusive. A fantastic time was had by all the family. Many thanks and looking forward to next year already.
Maison de Saint-Jean is beautiful and very well equipped. We've had a wonderful holiday. Enjoyed the spectacular views. The pool was fab and our boys loved it!

Thank you for a wonderful stay In your fabulous house, we spent a week exploring the town, fabulous Sunday market in Nyons, also held on a Thursday. We hired bikes @ E20 per day and played tennis and paddle in Nyons (booked online) we swam in the river nearby, The vineyards around the house are farmed by Domaine Tave, there Audrey La Tarde speaks English and is the real deal. We ran out of time to do all we wanted, ‘we will be back ‘.
Nous venons de passer un merveilleux séjour de dix jours au Château des Grillauds avec nos trois enfants (âgés de 8, 7 et 5 ans). Le château et le parc sont absolument magnifiques et parfaits pour des vacances paisibles (sauf pour les enfants). Les enfants ont adoré et sont restés dans la piscine toute la journée et s'endormaient chaque soir en regardant des films dans le salon à l'étage, tandis que les adultes appréciaient le charme élégant de la maison et (quelques bouteilles de) produits locaux. J'ai failli ne pas écrire de critique parce que je voulais garder secret ce joyau de maison, mais nous ne saurions trop le recommander. Des remerciements particuliers sont dus aux voisins d'à côté qui nous ont accueillis et n'auraient pas pu être plus serviables ou de meilleure compagnie pendant notre séjour ; y compris nous emmener au Pizou pour la fête locale du mardi soir. En résumé, dix jours magiques - j'ai hâte de revenir.

Merci beaucoup pour votre hospitalité. nous avons beaucoup apprécié notre séjour au Loft. Vous avez manifestement déployé beaucoup d'efforts pour vous assurer que vos invités aient tout ce dont ils ont besoin pour un séjour confortable. Nous avons certainement apprécié le souper que vous nous avez fourni lors de la première nuit - très apprécié après une journée de voyage. Boire et grignoter dans le jardin avec vous deux était également une délicate attention: toujours disponibles, mais sans jamais s'imposer. Bonne chance pour la prochaine étape de vos rénovations!
A wonderful stay at Mas du Château!! The home has everything you need and even more!! From the decor to the amenities to the exteriors, everything was at its best! Christophe was very attentive and ultra available!! The ideal PLACE to have a great time with friends and family!!

We really loved the tour of all the buildings and we look forward to visiting again to see the developments. Story book house in a story book setting... We very happily spent the month of August in this charming, comfortable and clean Provençal house. Although it's only minutes from marvellous food shopping and useful services (super market, cafés, restaurants, fitness center, bank, etc. ) it feels private and a world apart. The owner was unfailingly gracious and readily available by phone or email to her London location. As for the world famous village of Gordes and the whole Luberon area... it's one of our most favorite places on the planet.
Souvenirs : La vue depuis la maison. Le vent, comme un train de marchandises à travers les montagnes ! Le camion à pizza du mercredi soir. Minerve – agréable et calme (La Terrasse pour manger). La douche à l'avant – je veux la même dans ma maison ! Le réfrigérateur/congélateur – eau froide et glaçons au robinet – autre chose que nous voudrions dans notre maison. Des journées de farniente au bord de la piscine avec une cafetière et un livre. La Villa Lavinière a tout ce dont nous avions besoin, et plus encore. Quelle belle maison. C'est certainement une maison dans laquelle nous reviendrons et que nous recommanderons à nos amis.
Nous rêvions d'une vie de château, Frédérique et Philippe nous l'ont offerte ! De magnifiques vacances dans un cadre d'exception ! Encore merci pour votre gentillesse et disponibilité. Nous reviendrons avec grand paisir !

The house is a magical island setting in the countryside, with a wonderful rural and secluded ambiance. The size and comfort are simply perfect. I loved the morning runs in nature and the breakfasts on the terrace. Carelle and her husband are warm and supportive owners. The three dogs present themselves from time to time as friendly travelers. A great experience.
Endroit très privé et paisible où séjourner. Excellents équipements. La maison était charmante, propre et spacieuse avec toutes les installations nécessaires. En suivant les conseils concernant l'ouverture et la fermeture des volets, etc., nous avons pu trouver de l'ombre et de la fraîcheur à chaque fois que nous en avions besoin. La piscine était également propre et agréable à utiliser - un grand soulagement pendant la partie la plus chaude de la journée. Les boulangeries de Saint-Valentin et de Bivet étaient super (comme partout ailleurs). Intermarché à Bivet s'est avéré pratique mais d'autres sont également disponibles dans d'autres directions. Les excursions en fin d'après-midi à Marseille, Aix-en-Provence sont parfaites et le stationnement est très simple. L'excursion matinale à Cassis pour se rendre à la mer a également été un grand succès. Le stationnement y est bon le matin mais semble beaucoup plus fréquenté plus tard dans la journée.
An absolutely fabulous villa, decorated and furnished inside and out to an exceptional standard. Perfect location with an amazing pool and relaxation area. Very efficient air conditioning. The advertising for this villa does not do it justice. Facilities like this are hard to find in a holiday rental.
De retour chez nous je voulais tout simplement vous remercier vivement pour l’accueil exceptionnel que vous nous avez réservé lors de notre long weekend à Maureilhan. Comme on vous l’a dit ce matin, on s’est régalé à la Maison des Communes – et on a beaucoup apprécié votre générosité hors normes. Avec repas au restaurant, plateau de fromages, vin et viennoiseries, cela frôlait l’incroyable. Certainement, nous n’avons jamais avant profité d’une telle largesse lors d’une location en France, en GB ou ailleurs. Et comme vous le savez bien, votre maison est tout aussi remarquable, avec un brassage de styles et d’ambiances qui la rend aussi intéressante que luxueuse et accueillante. On n’avait vraiment pas envie de partir ce matin ... Donc, un grand merci une fois de plus et, je l’espère, à bientôt.
This beautifully maintained property is less than two hours outside of Paris. We never wanted to leave the grounds, there is everything to keep the kids happy: miles to run, pool, tennis and playhouse. We adults lazed all day by the pool while the children run happy and wild on the enclosed grounds. The owner gave us wonderful recommendations for off the beaten path wine tastings. Make sure she shows you the mill across the stream where they make the best croissants and bread. The layout of the château allows for several families to enjoy a vacation together, while maintaining peaceful, private moments. Best family vacation ever.
A fabulous setting for our family gathering. Some of us were here for two weeks some for one. We all enjoyed it thoroughly, the swimming pool was so restful, it was great for keeping cool, the children loved it. The outside seating being undercover was great as we ate out every night, we were able to watch an amazing lighting show one evening. The beds were very comfy, fans in the room was a real plus as the nights were hot, lots of bathrooms for a big group was also a plus. Some of us had been here a few years ago and it didn't disappoint, we would love to come back again, we loved your well stocked and very clean home

Une maison spacieuse brillante et bien équipée en plein cœur de la belle campagne. Facile à faire du shopping dans une petite ville très locale (à 3 miles) qui était totalement préservée et était évidemment « française ». Très simple de se promener directement depuis la porte le long de ruelles de campagne tranquilles dans la campagne vallonnée, puis revenez vous détendre dans le jardin exceptionnellement grand et une merveilleuse piscine. Il y avait tellement de pièces d'équipement de jardin/de jeu intérieur différentes pour s'assurer que vous ne perdriez jamais quelque chose à faire. John et Jo ont été des hôtes brillants et se sont extrêmement bien occupés de nous, s'assurant que nous avions tout ce dont nous avions besoin. Leurs cadeaux d'œufs, de pain et de crumble de pommes (et plus encore) ont été reçus avec gratitude et ont été une belle touche. Nous vous recommandons vivement d'y séjourner et de profiter de l'environnement. Nous avons passé un super séjour.
I liked everything; the location chosen for professional reasons quickly became a second home thanks to the owners, who were very friendly and available, always attentive to our needs and extremely professional. The house is splendid, every detail is carefully arranged.
Thank you for a fabulous two weeks at the Loft! The house is lovely and has been fitted out with everything we needed for our stay. The kitchen was a dream to cook in and the bathrooms were like staying in a 5 star hotel! However, our stay was made truly complete by your wonderful warm hospitality. It would not have been the same without your superb hosting skills! Lastly, thank you for letting the girls play with Mack and Mabel - it was definitely a high on the list of things they are going to miss after leaving the Loft. You've even cured their fear of dogs! All the best for the rest of your plans for the property!
A very enjoyable and relaxing week at La Maison Tournesol and hosts Meryl and Richard plus of course the lovely Poppy. Weather was slightly mixed but very pleasant when the sun was out. The very peaceful and well prepared accommodation was for the week and provided a perfect base to visit the surrounding area. The nearby village of Bourg de Visa is very picturesque and provides all required amenities with local shop an bank. Enjoyed a very nice meal at the restaurant on our final evening, the owner was most welcoming and very friendly. Thanks again both and hope to return again.
Un ÉNORME merci pour nous avoir procuré l'opportunité de séjourner dans votre belle maison. Le Malardier nous a apporté tout ce que nous aurions pu souhaiter et plus encore. Quelle chance j'ai eu d'avoir fêté mon anniversaire dans un endroit aussi fabuleux! Une semaine vraiment mémorable. Merci.
