Wow! What an amazing house in such a wonderful location! We've just come back from spending a week here and I was so sad to leave. The house is incredibly comfortable and beautifullt decorated. You really couldn't ask for a better location - the street is very peaceful (we didn't hear a thing, despite sitting out in the garden until late in the evening, every night) and yet you are in the centre of town within few minutes walk - we loved strolling into the main part of town for an ice cream in the day or a drink at night. Parking is easy; we didn't use the garage in the end despite having two cars between us. The pool is wonderful, especially when its really hot and the decked area and BBQ just make the garden a really relaxing, usable space to enjoy.
Thank you so much for the most amazing weeks stay in Piglet Barn. We honestly had the best time, a perfect family holiday. Thank you for being the most welcoming, warm and charming hosts, you looked after us so well. Thank you for drinks in your home, it was so much fun. We are going to miss our walks around Vouvant and morning coffee in the village. Thank you again so much for being the most amazing hosts, it was a holiday we will never forget. We hope to come back soon !
Une magnifique maison, entièrement équipée avec TOUT ce dont vous pourriez avoir besoin ! La piscine est tout simplement magnifique et nous avons tous adoré passer la majeure partie de notre séjour sous l'eau. Merci infiniment pour votre incroyable hospitalité, et surtout pour votre gentillesse et l'intérêt que vous avez portés aux filles... Wow! What a week, went so fast but was a truly special. The chateau is so grand with secrets to be found all around. Paul, Julie and Steven were amazing, taking us fishing and ensuring we had all we needed! I will miss this place and already want to come back!! Thank you!!
We absolutely loved our stay. The house is truly lovely and we were all very sad to leave. We loved being so close to Sarlat and had a wonderful holiday. Everyone was incredibly lovely and helpful. Thank you, Jackie, for your responsiveness and kindness throughout all our exchanges. We enjoyed our stay so much that we would love to come back and are already thinking about returning.
Vous avez transformé ce bâtiment en une maison des plus merveilleuses et, plus encore, en une maison accueillante et confortable, nous nous sentons privilégiés d'y avoir séjourné. Il ne nous manquait rien (sauf peut-être un peu plus de soleil et un peu moins de vent). Tous ceux qui nous y ont rejoint ont exprimé leur même appréciation. Merci beaucoup. Private pool in perfect surroundings. Maison Meunier is a great little find. I stayed in the larger house last year so was excited to return to the area. Inside there are 2 good sized bedrooms, clean bathroom and kitchen with full facilities and a stylish and spacious living and dining area. And then there is the outside...! There is a beautiful pergola covered terrace with BBQ which is perfect for al fresco dining and evening chats over a bottle of wine (from the local vineyard of course). The pool has stunning views over fruit trees, the fishing lake and forest covered hills in the background. It feels very private and isn't overlooked. The pool is immaculate and perfect size for playing / floating / chilling. The pool area also has sun loungers and a covered portion for the shade seekers. The area of Saint Front-Sur-Lemance is beautiful. Very sleepy and laid back but has all the best necessary amenities within a 5 minute walk (shop, cafe, Albert's pub) or 10 - 15 minute drive (Blanquefort-sur-Briolance for moules frites at Auberge des Moulins or Fumel for bigger shops and 25m outdoor pool). The owners are great hosts; not intrusive but always nearby to provide advice or help if needed. We can't wait to return next year.
Great feeling of space with plenty of room for children to play. Pool was superb and much used. The childrens swimming skills improved immensely. Thank you Takayla for lovely food and for accommodating late arrival and intolerances. Nick and Takayla were available and friendly without being intrusive. A fantastic time was had by all the family. Many thanks and looking forward to next year already.

We loved our stay - we were in a mixed group and it worked really well as each couple had their own space and privacy, but there are wonderful spaces for entertaining as a large group. The pool area is stunning and the setting is calm, quiet and peaceful. We enjoyed taking the bikes on trips to nearby villages too!
C'est le château le plus charmant et le plus soigné, beaucoup de caractère, de belles pièces d'art et des lits gigantesques! Il y a une pièce pour chacune de nos humeurs, même une discothèque, un billard et la plus belle salle de réception qui soit. La meilleure cuisine équipée que nous ayons connue, une merveilleuse piscine, court de tennis, croquet, pétanque... il est impossible de s'ennuyer ici! Le château est impressionnant mais il y règne une atmposphère qui nous fait nous sentir chez nous. Différents endroits possibles pour déjeuner, nous recommendons de dîner à l'arrière du château pour profiter des couchers de soleil. Nous ne pouvions pas aimé plus une maison et avons dès le deuxième jour de nos vacances réservé notre prochain séjour.

Idéal séjour de rêves. Trés belle restauration avec beaucoup de gout et maximum de confort. Très grandes pièces, grandes chambres et grandes salles de bains parfaitement équipées. Bref séjour très agréable et conseillé pour découvrir cette splendide région située au cœur du triangle d'or.

Nous avons passé un très bon séjour dans cette super maison. La maison est très bien équipée, et nous sommes très bien accueillis. La maison possède pleins de jeux ( billard, ping-pong, train électrique, cabane...) pour adultes et petits, on ne s'ennuie pas même si le beau temps n'est pas au rdv. Enfin la piscine est grande et chauffée ! Bref, super adresse ! Merci!

We had the most magical week at the enchanting Château Mabrouke. A beautiful house with outstanding facilities set in a most stunningly unspoilt expanse of French countryside. With some gloriously grand rooms in the château, immaculate gardens and seemingly endless out-buildings, Château Mabrouke still had a wonderfully homely feel to it. We enjoyed days spent splashing in the pool, long lunches and drinks with a view. And a couple of nights of being cooked for and hosted by the lovely Martin and Philippa were an absolute treat. Visits to the nearby pretty towns of Foix and Mirepoix were lovely and other places to recommend include the stunning Montsegur and some interesting prehistoric caves near the charming town of Mas d'Azil. All in all a most heavenly escape. We look forward to returning.
Beautiful renovation with the charm of old stones and the modernity of interior materials. Premium interior equipment. Absolute calm, without proximity to the road. Very comfortable for this property. Christophe available, nice and helpful. It was perfect.
We had a wonderful week in La Tourouzelle. The large pool and adjoining deck was a gift in the strong sun. The house has everything you would want, with each bed and couch as comfortable as the next! The view from the terrace, taking in the vines, the woods and even the Pyrénées is breathtaking!

Une jolie maison ancienne pleine de charme, dotée d'un jardin privé et d'une petite piscine pour se rafraîchir. L'endroit était propre, décoré avec beaucoup de goût et très confortable. Nous étions cinq et disposions de beaucoup d'espace. Le mobilier de jardin était de qualité, avec notamment des chaises longues au bord de la piscine. Eimear s'est montrée une hôte très serviable et réactive, nous fournissant des instructions claires ainsi que de précieux conseils. Gabian est un charmant petit village ; nous avons beaucoup apprécié d'aller chercher nos croissants et notre pain à la boulangerie chaque matin. La région est belle ; nous avons visité plusieurs plages ainsi que Pézenas, le tout étant facilement accessible en voiture. Nous avons tous adoré notre séjour et recommandons vivement cette location.
Well, we all made it and have had the best time. This year we have certainly made use of the pool - even Chris! We have had some splendid lunches out and have found yet more restaurants and generally had a very enjoyable and relaxing time. As ever, we thank you for your wonderful hospitality. We can’t wait to be back - Chris and I are coming back in October when we hope it won’t be quite so hot!
