Nous avons vraiment apprécié notre dernière semaine à Camirout. Nos endroits préférés ont été Bergerac, Monpazier et le marché nocturne de Prayssas. Tous mettaient en valeur la belle histoire de cette région et une cuisine exceptionnelle. La piscine a diverti les enfants pendant des heures. Merci beaucoup. Toute notre affection, famille Adams.
We booked Château Velouse as we love the Loire region. Definitely not disappointed... the welcome from the hosts Claire and Phil was lovely, the rooms were huge in size and height, great ensuites, it can hold 16 adults plus 4 children. Loads of space in the extensive grounds which are walled and fenced, we felt very secure and great for children and our dog to explore. The large swimming pool was fantastic and spent a lot of time there lounging on luxury sun beds under the umbrellas (30C plus during our stay). We had some wonderful evening meals during our stay either outside patio area which seated us all with lovely lighting or inside in the huge dining room. As a group of family and friends we took turns to cook which was great fun and the kitchen is very well equipped to cater for a large group. We had trips out to Bourges, Sancerre and a day on a local golf course, all recommended
Spent a lovely week here, Lived up to all our expectations. Wonderful setting with splendid views. Plenty of room to seat all of us for breakfast, lunch and dinner, in the sun or shade. The house wanted for nothing.
This property is so beautiful you may not want to venture out, but if you do there are great restaurants and bars nearby as well as lovely walks and biking trails. The rooms are very comfortable, all en-suite and everything you could wish for is provided. The huge swimming pool / pool house / relaxing / eating and barbecue areas mean that you can be outside all the time but the gorgeous well equipped kitchen and indoor rooms offer a cool alternative. Cant wait to go back!
Un château de conte de fées situé sur les collines de Saint Mézard. Simplement merveilleux! Facile d'accès depuis Toulouse, Château Mézard etait le parfait camp de base pour explorer les jolis villages aux alentours qui offrend le meilleur en matière de gastronomie et de vins locaux. Un petit Armagnac au coucher du soleil, dîner au chandelles sur l'un des nombreuses terrasses nous ont fait nous sentir comme des princes.
Super séjour à Margon, Hélène est très réactive et disponible. Nous avions 2 bébés et le matériel (chaises hautes et lits parapluie) était à disposition. Je recommande vivement cet endroit pour se détendre et visiter la région. Merci encore à Hélène pour sa confiance.
My wife and rented Maison Rohmer for a month. the owner who lives in London was accessible by phone, she was absolutely fantastic, very helpful and was there for us by telephone if we had any questions. the location is in the country, very quiet and in a great location for discovering Luberon, hill towns, scenes to sketch and paint, some level dedicated bike trails for bike riding (can rent in Coustellet), so all in all a wonderful experience, the inside of the home was very comfortable, sizeable rooms, great shower, so now hesitation whatever to anyone who is looking for a place in the country side with a pool.
Absolutely stunning. We visited the house last summer and had an absolutely amazing time. The house is stunning with views over to Grasse and down toward Cannes. As a family of 5 (children 8, 5 and 12 months), it had everything we needed including a god sized pool and the interiors of the house are beautiful. It is a short drive to the local supermarket and amenities and only 20 minutes drive to the beaches of Cannes and Antibes. Nearby Mougins and Grasse provide an abundance of restaurants. A car is a must as the house is accessed up a steep road but views are spectacular. We can't wait to visit again this summer.
We stayed in Maison Rohmer for 11 nights in June and thoroughly enjoyed the house and peaceful setting at the end of a private track. Everything was very clean and well furnished with excellent bathrooms and plenty of hot water. We swam in the pool every day bar one, when there was a big thunderstorm that drenched the area and had a strange effect of gradually turning the colour of the water in the pool to green, but was perfectly ok to swim in. The owner was on hand to answer any queries we had despite being in the USA at the time of our stay, something that we both appreciated greatly. Gordes and the area around was lovely with so many beautiful towns and villages to explore on foot or bike or car, a great area of France to return to again.

Thank you for the warm welcome - Rêve de Pêcheur is very charming. We enjoyed village life and visits to Château de Villandry, the Cadre Noir, Château de Langeais and Fontevraud Abbey.
First things first - Karen, Russell and the girls (Mack and Mabel) are wonderful hosts. Warm, friendly, thoughtful and yet discreet. They love what they're doing and it shows as nothing is too much trouble. Their enthusiasm for their ventures (current and future) is infectious. Secondly is the 'Loft du Vigneron' - a fabulous property offering everything - and more - that you could hope for. Karen and Russell's sense of style has been imprinted on it and their attention to detail has left nothing wanting. Every comfort has been considered from the fabulous welcoming pack to 'The White Company' range of toiletries. The terrace was our favourite place with the sun streaming through the roof and the warm breeze cooling us down. Rieux-Minervois is a typical French village and perfectly situated to explore the entire Minervois region from Carcassonne in the West, East to the Mediterranean, and all the lovely historical villages North and South. In conclusion, we had a fabulous stay in a wonderful property with the perfect hosts - highly recommended without hesitation. Our very best wishes for every success in you new venture. Story book house in a story book setting... We very happily spent the month of August in this charming, comfortable and clean Provençal house. Although it's only minutes from marvellous food shopping and useful services (super market, cafés, restaurants, fitness center, bank, etc. ) it feels private and a world apart. The owner was unfailingly gracious and readily available by phone or email to her London location. As for the world famous village of Gordes and the whole Luberon area... it's one of our most favorite places on the planet.
Wow, what a stunning house – so, so loved being here and just wished the days had stretched a little longer to have seen more of this beautiful part of the Dordogne. Massive thanks to Jayne and Ian for looking after us so well! Thank you from the Blackett-Shield Family.

Encore de belles vacance passée dans cette région. La maison nous a offert tout ce dont nous avions besoin, tout comme les photos et les descriptions l'avaient montré. Le standing autant à l'intérieur qu'à l'extérieur était fantastique. Souvent en France, les piscines peuvent être un peu éloignées de la maison/des espaces communs extérieurs, mais c'était un aménagement fantastique pour que tout le monde puisse en profiter toute la journée et toute la soirée. La piscine était la meilleure partie, en très bon état et a procuré des heures de plaisir aux enfants et aux adultes, tout comme la salle de jeux. La maison était très spacieuse et toutes les installations/équipements fournis étaient idéaux. La petite promenade dans le village à travers les champs pour notre pain et nos gâteaux du matin et la proximité de Duras et d'Eymet (les villes que nous aimons visiter) en faisaient un endroit idéal.
Merci Madeline et Alan pour ce séjour exceptionnel mais si court dans votre magnifique maison, Camirout. J'ai beaucoup apprécié les promenades que nous avons faites et je vous suis reconnaissante d'avoir pris le temps de nous montrer vos recommandations, ce que vous n'aviez pas nécessairement à faire. C'était tellement relaxant et la vue était magnifique. Je recommanderai cette maison à mes amis et à ma famille. Camirout est un séjour absolument incontournable ! Merci encore pour ce super séjour ! Je reviendrai.
Nous avons passé une semaine à la Villa Valente. Nous l'avons tellement aimée que nous aimerions y retourner l'année prochaine.
A beautiful property in a nice quiet location but still close to many interesting places to visit. The bedrooms were very spacious and comfortable and there was a lovely covered eating area outside. We also really loved the pool. We especially enjoyed canoeing on the Dordogne and visiting Domme and Le Jardin Marqueyssac. We also left something behind which Victoire kindly sent on to us.
Mas du Château is a perfect mixture or restored historic chateau and very modern high spec decor. Set in the most beautiful landscape with all the privacy needed. Amazing swimming pool and private terrace area is ideal for a large group or a small private family. Multiple entertaining spaces, along with Television and very fast internet, ideal for a group with children. Christophe and his family were very welcoming and always available to help in Person or via the internet/phone. 100% recommended, book asap.
Quelle magnifique retraite loin de la vie urbaine ! Nous avons réservé trois semaines à la maison et en avons apprécié chaque minute. La cuisine extérieure est fantastique, c'était comme si nous avions notre propre restaurant privé. La piscine était parfaite pour nos trois enfants et la vue panoramique sur les montagnes environnantes est à couper le souffle. Alexandra était facilement joignable en cas de questions ou de problèmes. Dans l’ensemble, fortement recommandé !
Nous venons de passer deux merveilleuses semaines à la Maison Semoussac.
