Very nice accommodation with a huge living room. The proximity to the canal is the charm of the charm of the house.
We've had a wonderful week, enjoyed by all. We thought the tapas evening with Emma was great fun and well worth it, she's very knowledgable. We ended the week with lunch at Domaine Gayda, a great recommendation. We were sad to leave such a lovely home which exceeded our expectations and I would love to think that one day we could return. Thank you for your welcome.
Comme les locataires précédents, nous avons apprécié le calme, la piscine, le petit déjeuner sur la terrasse avec la jolie vue sur les vignes et la garrigue, les couchers de soleil si différents chaque jour. Nous avons particulièrement été sensibles aux très belles prestations pour cette maison au calme pour se retrouver en famille. La piscine est très grande et avec une vue imprenable sur la nature et les vignes. La région est très belle et les alentours en valent la peine Nous avons passé de très bonnes vacances et Marie qui vous accueille est très agréable. Christiane, la propriétaire est au petit soin pour que votre séjour se passe au mieux. Les équipements dans la maison que se soit mobiliers ou coin cuisine sont au top.
L'hôte était super. Elle a fait de son mieux pour que nous nous sentions chez nous. Le secteur est pittoresque et idéal pour explorer cette région viticole.
It’s hard to know where to begin to tell you how much we enjoyed our stay. Your property is so well set up and we made good use of the barbecue, tennis court, boules, darts, table tennis and of course, the pool which beats all other swimming pools we’ve ever had on holiday... and the shady areas when the sun got just that bit too hot. So much thought has obviously gone into it all and it made our holiday very special. The four teenage grandchildren we had with us had a ball and we all loved the Lot countryside, its villages and the sunflowers. How can you not be happy when you’ve got fields of them within a few steps from your door? The two Marches Gourmands we went to at Tournon and Saux were brilliant fun - the food on offer at Saux was particularly good and Tournon is such a pretty place. Our daughter loved going for early morning runs, seeing a hare and on two occasions, a deer, amongst sunflowers. Swimming in the Lot, cycling and canoeing are all on our list of favourite things we did. We also have a great picture of three of the red squirrels on the tree near the bolet - what a brilliant place for breakfast. Thank you so very much from all of us. Nous venons de passer des vacances très réussies à la Villa Bellara. Nous étions sept (dont deux enfants) la première semaine et deux pendant la majeure partie de la seconde semaine. Nous étions certainement à l'aise. La villa est située dans une rue résidentielle calme, donc aucun problème de bruit tôt le matin ! Elle se trouve à environ huit minutes à pied d'une excellente pâtisserie pour acheter des croissants, etc. pour le petit-déjeuner, avec un excellent magasin de fruits en face. Le supermarché est un peu plus loin, mais facilement accessible. La plage est à environ 12 minutes à pied. L'accès aux autres lieux est simple via la gare de Cagnes (Nice ou Cannes) et il existe un bus gratuit pour les Hauts de Cagnes qui valent bien une visite. La propriété est parfaitement entretenue, l'équipement de cuisine de première classe et bien pensé. Il y a une splendide terrasse donnant sur la piscine, avec un auvent au-dessus de la table à manger qui nous a tous confortablement accueilli. Le soir, le petit jardin dispose de lumières sous les arbres, et à minuit, des gerbes jaillissent de l'herbe pour l'arroser. Le jardin, bien que petit, est bien entretenu, entouré de haies, le rendant très privé. Nous avons passé des vacances des plus agréables et mémorables.
The hosts have thought of every comfort. A fantastic base from which to explore this part of France. It was difficult to draw yourself away from the beautiful garden and pool. We stayed with them many times when they managed to create yet another little haven at their new base in France!
Now we are back from a fabulous holiday staying in Grand Mauran, I just wanted to say we had a wonderful time. The house was perfect, it was so well equipped and had everything we could possible need for a holiday with a baby. Having the pool heated was a real joy. All the instructions were good and our questions were answered very promptly. We definitely will be back.
Nous avons passé des vacances parfaites à Bessan. La maison est très belle, les enfants ont profité de la piscine tous les jours. Nous avons particulièrement aimé Uzès et Pézenas qui sont vraiment de belles villes. Merci encore. À bientôt.
Nous avons passé un séjour des plus merveilleux dans la propriété. Le jardin est magnifique et la piscine incroyable. À l’intérieur, tout est mis en place pour un séjour confortable pour tous : les enfants ont adoré les hamacs ! Merci de la rendre si accueillante. J'espère que nous reviendrons très bientôt.
We had a beautiful fou-poster suite with claw footed bath in this attractive country château. We enjoyed a lazy week in glorious sunshine in August dipping in and out of the outdoor heated swimming pool. The château has extensive grounds in which to walk off dinner and is surrounded by peaceful countryside. Bourges was a great place to visit, both cathedral, palace and gardens were a must-see. We were with a large party of friends who took it in turns to cook and we ate outside on the terrace watching the sun go down.
What a beautiful house, we have had a lovely holiday and enjoyed every minute. It's been amazing watching the sunset every evening and enjoying your lovely pool. Thank you for the fab tips Pascal! ‘Fresh’ is a great supermarket and Baie du Lac was lovely!
Nous sommes bien arrivés à la maison après notre agréable voyage en France. Et bien sûr, la meilleure partie était notre séjour dans votre charmante maison. C'est le meilleur logement locatif dans lequel nous ayons été en raison du sentiment que nous étions dans une vraie maison - il est joliment décoré avec une telle attention aux détails. Il n'y avait rien que vous n'ayez fourni dans chaque pièce et une quantité incroyable d'activités pour amuser tout le monde. Nous sommes juste tristes que les petits-enfants ne soient pas avec nous car ils auraient adoré la piscine et le jardin. Nous avons envoyé des vidéos de la salle de jeux avec la voie ferrée installée car mon petit-fils en a une à la maison !
A relaxing holiday in a beautiful part of France. The house is delightful.
Thank you for a wonderful stay In your fabulous house, we spent a week exploring the town, fabulous Sunday market in Nyons, also held on a Thursday. We hired bikes @ E20 per day and played tennis and paddle in Nyons (booked online) we swam in the river nearby, The vineyards around the house are farmed by Domaine Tave, there Audrey La Tarde speaks English and is the real deal. We ran out of time to do all we wanted, ‘we will be back ‘.
Another fantastic stay for the Hill family. Everything you could wish for and worth listening to the daily countdown from the grandchildren since we booked. Only problem is 2 weeks is not enough!
We have had a most amazing week. The weather has been perfect and this beautiful house has been a haven of peace and tranquility for adults and children alike. Needless to say we don't want to go home!
Le Presbytère genuinely exceeded our expectations in all areas. We primarily booked this property for the covered eating and relaxing area adjacent to a fabulous heated pool and the number of bedrooms. The history and setting of the property and it's views to the rear over beautiful countryside, were a real bonus and joy. The wildlife was of real interest to us all and the table tennis was played regularly by us all. Mark and Amanda were friendly and keen to help with any queries we had. Thank you again and in particular for providing the electric fans which were essential during such a hot period in July. We don't usually return to the same property on holiday but just might make an exception with Le Presbytère!
Nous avons séjourné dans de nombreuses propriétés de vacances différentes en Europe, mais celle-ci était certainement l'une des meilleures. La maison était bien équipée et confortable, l'emplacement excellent et la piscine parfaite. Nous étions désolés de partir - il y avait tellement de choses à voir et à faire dans la région. Nous serions très heureux de réserver à nouveau la villa.
A fantastic house and a credit to the owner, the facilities are superb and could not be bettered. The area around Nyons is beautiful, we are familiar with Beaume de Venise, but this part has a charm of its own. We all thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this premier class house.
Our week at Maison Charvin from Arlo, the family dog. My family thinks that Maison Charvin is simply beautiful: opulently furnished, exquisitely decorated. More of a château than a maison. That said, my mummy says it’s not pretentious but cosy and homely, much appreciated on the unusually slightly chilly and windy days for part of our stay. The pool has provided instant relief for my family when the weather has been hot and sunny. My human brothers’ favourite space is the very relaxing courtyard where my mummy and I have dozed off on numerous occasions! My daddy has very much enjoyed reading many books from the vast collection. The house is deceptively large, providing ample chilling space for everyone, including me after a hot day in the sun. We enjoyed visiting Trebes (on the Canal), Carcassonne, Lagrasse and the dog-friendly beach in Narbonne. My family enjoyed the pizza which they ordered from the pizza van by the church on Thursday late afternoon. They also had baguettes and pastries (ordered in advance) from Aurelien at Vins de Dagne.

Quelle magnifique villa, décorée avec goût. La piscine est parfaite après une chaude journée. Philippe était aux petits soins : impossible de rêver meilleur hôte.

Nous avons passé 2 semaines vraiment très agréables dans cette jolie maison située sur les collines de Fréjus. Située dans un endroit très calme, la maison est confortable et très bien équipée avec du joli mobilier.
A beautiful home in a private location- a perfect base. For us, the best bits- The property is all yours. No near neighbours, nobody overlooking you, a private pool (enclosed which is great for young kids). There's loads of grass areas as well, plus a barn with table tennis/ darts etc. There are a lot of fruit trees at the property and we even enjoyed some of these whilst there, though it is possible these attract some extra wasps though this was not a real issue during our stay. The house is 20/25minutes from Bergerac airport, ideal! The location is remote so don't expect to walk in to the local town, and the town itself isn't full of things to see etc. For us, our favourite trips out are Limeuil, Le Bugue, Tremolat and Cadouin for picturesque towns with quaint shops and nice cafes! Amazing prompt communication, The owners couldn't do enough to help. Thanks so much.

This home is spacious and beautifully appointed with spectacular views that offer an ever-changing backdrop. We found the early mornings particularly beautiful and loved watching the amazing sunsets sitting by the pool or on the veranda. This stylish and well-equipped home from home was a truly wonderful place to stay and had everything we could wish for to have a comfortable, relaxing and enjoyable holiday.
