Nous avons passé de merveilleuses vacances à Montlaur. La maison était fantastique et la piscine un vrai régal auprès des enfants en particulier.
C'est une très belle villa dans un endroit merveilleux. Les touches personnelles et l'approche des propriétaires en font un endroit très spécial et nous reviendrons à l'avenir. Une villa très spéciale que nous adorons. Toute l'expérience est également grandement facilitée par Frédéric et la façon dont il gère la propriété et interagit avec les vacanciers. Cela fait une grande différence.
Galina était une hôtesse formidable et accommodante. Nous avons apprécié notre séjour dans sa villa. Les photos et les descriptions sont exactes. À noter simplement que les chambres communicantes du premier étage ont une entrée indépendante. De manière plus générale et même s'il y a quelques éléments qui pourraient être améliorés, nous recommanderons certainement la villa.
Nous avons passé une agréable quinzaine ici à Bessan. La maison était confortable et paisible. Le temps a été magnifique pendant tout notre séjour, contrairement au Royaume-Uni ! Nous avons apprécié les villes voisines, notamment Agde. Nous nous souviendrons de ces vacances et ne voulons pas rentrer à la maison cet après-midi. Merci beaucoup.

We have just returned from a fantastic holiday in Fitou, staying in this lovely and comfortable villa. I agree with other reviewers, the pictures do not do the property justice. It is spacious with a very high finish throughout maintaining a very homely feel. Our party consisted of 2 families with 4 kids (6, 6, 2 and 2), they loved it. As for the area, well it's a really special region of France. The location is perfect for day trips to the regions finest attractions (Carcassonne, Collioure, Gruissan etc...) and equally relaxing staying local. Fitou and nearby Leucate Village are charming and the local beaches are lovely, unspoilt and crowd free. There is as much or as little to do here as you'd like. We will certainly be coming back to the area and hopefully to this villa again.
First things first - Karen, Russell and the girls (Mack and Mabel) are wonderful hosts. Warm, friendly, thoughtful and yet discreet. They love what they're doing and it shows as nothing is too much trouble. Their enthusiasm for their ventures (current and future) is infectious. Secondly is the 'Loft du Vigneron' - a fabulous property offering everything - and more - that you could hope for. Karen and Russell's sense of style has been imprinted on it and their attention to detail has left nothing wanting. Every comfort has been considered from the fabulous welcoming pack to 'The White Company' range of toiletries. The terrace was our favourite place with the sun streaming through the roof and the warm breeze cooling us down. Rieux-Minervois is a typical French village and perfectly situated to explore the entire Minervois region from Carcassonne in the West, East to the Mediterranean, and all the lovely historical villages North and South. In conclusion, we had a fabulous stay in a wonderful property with the perfect hosts - highly recommended without hesitation. Our very best wishes for every success in you new venture. What a fantastic week we had a . The house is beautiful and we loved the attention to detail.
Nous sommes retournés à La Charmante Distillerie en juillet 2025 pour trois semaines après un séjour exceptionnel l'année dernière. La deuxième fois, nous avons ressenti un sentiment tout aussi spécial, voire plus. Mark et Gary ont créé ici un lieu inoubliable : un équilibre parfait entre un design élégant et un confort infini, paisible sans être isolé, et attentionné dans tous les domaines. Tout est pensé pour vous aider à ralentir et à déconnecter. Nos filles, 13 et 15 ans, ont immédiatement retrouvé leur rythme préféré : des heures passées dans la piscine, se détendre dans le confort douillet, créer des bijoux en plein air et profiter de la liberté offerte par le cadre. Nous avons fait de même : un café et un livre au soleil matinal, de longs déjeuners et des soirées tranquilles avec un cocktail ou deux, suivis d'une magnifique observation des étoiles tard le soir. L'un des véritables plaisirs de ce retour a été de pouvoir explorer un peu plus les communes environnantes, guidés par les suggestions avisées de Mark et Gary. Des restaurants et distilleries locaux exceptionnels aux marchés nocturnes, en passant par l'artisanat d'Aubeterre, les visites fascinantes des magnifiques églises templières et une journée inoubliable aux Bassins des Lumières à Bordeaux, chaque recommandation correspondait exactement à ce que nous recherchions. L'expérience s'est révélée plus riche et plus intime. Ce qui a rendu ce séjour encore plus précieux, c'est la présence de Mark et Gary comme hôtes. C'est un couple d'une gentillesse, d'une générosité et d'une authenticité exceptionnelles. Il est rare de trouver un endroit qui vous touche de la meilleure des manières, mais La Charmante Distillerie a parfaitement réussi. En y retournant, nous avons eu l'impression de rentrer chez nous et nous sommes repartis ressourcés, reconnaissants et déjà prêts à planifier notre prochaine visite… si Mark et Gary nous acceptent. Difficile de ne pas répéter ce que nous avions dit lors de notre première visite en 2024 : nous aimerions garder ce petit secret… mais ce ne serait pas juste. C'est vraiment la destination idéale avec des hôtes parfaits.
We stayed at Maison Sainte-Croix in June last year and I have to say, we had a fantastic holiday. The spacious house is very comfortable and there is plenty of room for everyone. We particularly liked the choice of terraces to enjoy the magnificent views at different times of the day. We had many enjoyable afternoons tasting wine in the various local villages and were glad that we drove rather than flew so that we could take home some of our favourites! We found some very good restaurants in Vaison and the street market is well worth a visit. Many thanks!
Nous avons passé un merveilleux séjour à La Maison Tolzac. La terrasse avec piscine est superbe pour apprécier la vue sur la nature et s´enthousiasmer devant le couchet de soleil en buvant un bon verre de vin offert par nos charmants hôtes. Le gite est aussi tres beau et chaque chambre dispose d´une belle salle de bain, ce qui particulierement appréciable. Cependant je tiens a remercier tout spécialement Kim et son mari pour leur accueil et leur dévouement. Un service au top :-)
Notre séjour a été absolument incroyable. La vue autour de la maison est à couper le souffle et la maison elle-même fut un vrai plaisir. Nous avons profité de nombreuses baignades, barbecues, jeux et soirées cinéma. Merci beaucoup de nous avoir accueillis, nous espérons tous revenir un jour bientôt !!

Hi future guest, The couple who own the property have poured so much love into every corner of the beautiful. home that you can feel it when you stay there. The place is so much more cosy and beautifully designed than the pictures give the impression. During our stay we said we wanted to listen to music and asked if there were speakers onsite. Karen and Russell said there wasn't but then went out and bought a pair for us to use! At one point we were cooking and I borrowed some olive oil, curry powder and a chilli pepper. I wanted to get a guitar and they told me where a fabulous music shop was and I ended up purchasing a beautiful guitar. Nothing was ever too much trouble and we felt beyond welcome. The place is a bit like a fairytale place, and they made our stay beyond what we imagined. It is an oasis and a sanctuary and close to many nearby sites such as Château de Rene and others. Highly recommend staying here.
Nous avons passé un séjour fantastique. La maison est absolument superbe, la piscine et le jardin également. Sarlat est superbe avec son centre ancien bien conservé. Nous avons adoré nous y promener et déguster de bons repas dans les restaurants (il y en a beaucoup).
Nous avons passé une superbe semaine à la Petite Maison Bleue.
Such a great place to stay. It's so peaceful, really well laid out and perfect for groups big or small. Close enough to the main town and well located for golf or wine country. Hosts were super helpful and welcoming and the house itself is gorgeous. Great pool, facilities and entertaining areas - we'll definitely be going back.
We have returned! Even more enjoyable this year, weather and pool fantastic. The villa is close to perfect.

La villa était absolument magnifique et située dans un endroit calme comme mentionné dans la description (le seul bruit étant les grillons mais c'était apaisant). L'aménagement de la maison en 3 bâtiments séparés a vraiment fonctionné pour notre groupe familial élargi, en plus de différentes zones dans le jardin dans lesquelles vous pouvez vous asseoir qui permettent aux gens d'avoir un moment de calme si nécessaire. Je recommanderais les restaurants du village, mais sachez qu'ils n'ouvrent pas le lundi. Un séjour très agréable et reposant.

Nous avons adoré nous détendre au bord de la superbe piscine, admirer les étoiles, faire du vélo dans la magnifique région et jouer au ping-pong.
What an amazing week in a stunning home. The house is exquisitely designed and the attention to detail is fantastic. The views are beautiful and the area so quiet and peaceful. I slept in one of the bedrooms on the ground floor and had the best night's sleep I've had for years… the mattress is heavenly. Not many people can lie in bed watching red squirrels leaping through the surrounding trees can they! The small kitchen area on the ground floor along with the 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms means the whole floor can be very separate and quiet if two families were to share the house. The middle floor is a great entertaining space with a spotless and very modern kitchen with dining / living area leading out to the garden and pool. It was a real treat to have the local bar / restaurant within a short walking distance. It's very easy to sit and enjoy the local wine! The one thing I hadn't bargained for was the abundance of wildlife, although with the roads being so quiet I suppose I shouldn't have been surprised. The red squirrels and deer can be seen from the balconies and fantastic infinity pool overlooking the valley. The cushions for the outdoor furniture are very comfy. Once again, there are various areas to sit / eat and enjoy the garden if different age groups or families stay here. So to sum it all up…a fab holiday home in beautiful surroundings – 10 / 10. PS If you attempt the puzzle in the games cupboard… start it as soon as you arrive because it's tricky but irresistible!
Thank you for a wonderful two weeks at your beautiful home, we fell in love with Les Marquises as soon as we stepped out of the car the gorgeous gardens, plants, flowers and the views! Then the house where to start, the clever beautiful sense of style and decoration in every room is enchanting, warm and welcoming and although we enjoyed visiting Nyons, Vaison la Romaine and Orange, the best part of our holiday was just relaxing around the swimming pool and enjoying this outstandingly beautiful place. Thank you so much for this most memorable holiday.
Very pretty new hotel, charmingly furnished in the beautiful wine village of Meursault. You can get to Beaune very quickly, but Dijon is also easily accessible by car. Very nice, warm hosts.
Nous passons un excellent séjour et la maison est tout simplement parfaite. Les enfants adorent la salle de jeux et la piscine : notre fille de 11 ans en a la peau tout le temps fripée !

We had such a lovely week at Les Cabannes with 3 generations of our family... A fantastic, well equipped, welcoming house in a beautiful place, set in so much space for everyone to do their own thing, if they so desire. Les Cabannes really is in perfect seclusion but not isolation - plenty of wonderful things to see and do nearby, if you can persuade yourself (or anyone) to leave the pool!
Thank you for a terrific stay. What a wonderful place. We loved the BBQ and of course the pool . We will be back for our next tour.
