Merci pour ce séjour merveilleusement relaxant. Nous connaissons bien la région mais séjournons généralement dans des zones plus rurales. Ce que nous avons le plus apprécié, c'est de pouvoir séjourner si près du centre de la magnifique ville de Sarlat tout en ayant le sentiment d'être complètement isolés ! Le jardin et la piscine magnifiquement clos nous ont donné une ambiance rurale avec tous les avantages de pouvoir marcher jusqu'à des restaurants incroyables tous les soirs. Votre villa nous a définitivement offert le meilleur des deux mondes et nous reviendrons certainement.
Great holiday. Great accommodation, fantastic hosts, wonderful holiday. A very impressive château in huge grounds make this a great venue to relax and unwind. Each room has a unique character and there is a huge kitchen. Highly recommended.
J'ai passé quelques jours en famille au Le Mas Pouget. Le séjour y a été fabuleux, notamment parce que l'endroit est très raffiné, et parce que l'emplacement est idéal pour des excursions dans le parc des Cévennes
Mia, 7 years old We have had the most wonderful stay at this beautiful house. I loved playing in the swimming pool with my nanny, grandad, sister and my 2 cousins. The market in Duras is definitely worth a visit with lots of lovely things to see and buy. I hope you will enjoy your stay as much as we have.
Belle maison, très bien aménagée avec des lits confortables et une vue imprenable. Nous avons vraiment apprécié notre séjour, la région est magnifique et le village charmant et calme.
What an amazing place and fantastic hosts, Hugh and Ian have given our family the perfect holiday. Thank you so much. The kids said the pool is amazing and really loved the salt water which didn't make there eyes sting like normal chlorinated pools. Oscar your adorable dog was also a big plus for Lara!

Beautiful setting and the grounds are marvellous. So relaxing and the pool area is perfect for long sunny afternoons. Kitchen is really well appointed. Bed linen feels fresh and your home is spotless - a big thumbs up! Playroom was a huge hit. You have a wonderful property, but your kindness and generosity of spirit went a long way in making us all feel very welcome.
Here we are again! The Loft and it’s setting never loses its WOW! factor; we have had yet another ( fifth ) visit, having enjoyed the garden, pool, local area and not least your wonderful hospitality. Thank you so much - an oasis of calm in the Covid-19 storm! The measures you have taken to protect guests have been executed with your usual discretion and thoroughness, allowing us to truly relax.
Belle maison, bel endroit dans un excellent emplacement pour nous permettre de revisiter nos endroits préférés dans la région. Le meilleur restaurant sur des kilomètres est La Maison à Tourbes. Merci beaucoup.
Eva a été extrêmement serviable et nous a donné d'excellentes recommandations pour le dîner. La maison est parfaite pour des vacances relaxantes, une belle piscine et un intérieur incroyable. Lieu de résidence idéal, nous vous recommandons vivement.

Le Château Mézard est vraiment aussi beau qu'il est décrit sur le site Web ! C'était un endroit magique pour des vacances. La maison et le terrain étaient magnifiques, l'aménagement de la maison offre une grande intimité même pour un grand groupe. L'exploration de la campagne environnante, des villes et des villages a fourni l'évasion parfaite dans la campagne française. Revenir au luxe étonnant du château pour un dîner en terrasse ou une baignade dans la piscine était le moment fort de chaque journée.
Notre séjour à la Maison Baleyssagues a été parfait pour notre semaine en mai, c'était génial. Une villa très spacieuse et exceptionnellement bien entretenue et équipée. Piscine et terrain fantastiques. Le gestionnaire Frédéric a été très accueillant et serviable pendant notre séjour. Nous pouvons honnêtement dire que c'était l'une des meilleures villas dans lesquelles nous ayons séjourné.

Des pâtisseries fraîches du matin à un délicieux repas au "Le Pourquoi Pas", vous êtes allé au-delà - et cela, combiné au confort et à l'environnement de la villa, c'est ce qui a rendu ces vacances si spéciales. Nous avons tous adoré : le confort des lits et la qualité du linge, l'eau chaude irréprochable et la propreté de la piscine. Cette villa fonctionne vraiment, nous permettant de passer des vacances sans stress ! Tant de souvenirs heureux ont été créés. Nous espérons revenir avec un nouveau venu, mais en attendant, au revoir et merci beaucoup.
Had a fantastic holiday in this wonderful gite which is located in the stunning Dordogne countryside. Everything about this property is first class from the quality beds and linen to all of the many first rate appliances, a proper home from home with nothing missing. The pool was an absolute godsend as was the highly efficient and quiet air conditioning which is present in every room. The location was perfect just a 5 minute drive from the beautiful medieval town of Monpazier. The owners were the perfect hosts, nothing was too much trouble but you didn’t know they were there.
We were four related families of eight adults and 8 children aged 3-7. The palatial exterior of the Chateau belies the comfort and homeliness of its interior which boasts some of the most comfortable beds we have slept in. The shuttered windows and the judicious repositioning of a vase or two made it easy to child-proof the rooms. The magnificent parkland of trees, lawns and flower-beds offers a short-walk to a fully enclosed and secure open-air swimming pool, which was a particular highlight. The views across the surrounding countryside are simply stunning. We particularly valued the extensive space, the quiet and the privacy. Gaelle was extremely helpful in dealing with any queries and we are grateful to her and her family for sharing their home with a large group of complete strangers. Fiona
Nous avons passé de belles vacances au Château Périgord et sommes maintenant malheureusement de retour au Royaume-Uni.
We have returned again as promised and, despite the worst weather we have experienced in France in over 20 years, we had a lovely time. Even indoors there were still plenty of things to do in the sheltered area to sit and play card games, or challenge each other to a game of table tennis in the barn. A very comfortable and well-equipped house. Thank you for your kind hospitality and we hope to return again soon!

Nous sommes restés toute la famille 6 adultes et 2 enfants pendant 4 jours. La maison a tout ce dont vous avez besoin pour profiter de quelques jours dans le sud de la France. Les propriétaires ont toujours été très amicaux et prêts à nous aider avec tout ce dont nous avions besoin. Merci.
C'est notre dernière nuit aux Jumelles et nous sommes tous tristes de quitter votre magnifique maison et jardin. Nous n'avons que de bons souvenirs de notre séjour et vous nous avez fait nous sentir extrêmement détendus au cours des deux dernières semaines. Le temps a été parfait et nous a permis beaucoup d'amusement dans la piscine et de profiter de votre fantastique jardin.
Excellent. A recommander sans modération. Hôtes charmants, accueillants. Maison du gardien rénovée dans le style du bâtiment, avec goût et le souci du détail. Très propre. Piscine superbe dans un magnifique parc arboré et très bien entretenu. Environnement très calme. Restaurants locaux agréables... idéalement placé pour visite de Montignac, Sarlat, les eyzies, la Rosue Gageac et autres sites touristiques. A recommander et félicitation à Caterina et Steve pour la rénovation de cette magnifique propriété.

Thank you for letting us stay in your wonderful house - we have all enjoyed the beautiful home and gardens and all the attention to detail. We very much enjoyed the night market in Laparade although not really a market but more a fiesta! Very much recommend. A fantastic stay and wonderful house!
Thank you so much for a wonderfully relaxing stay at your ‘Loft’. We have stayed here many times before under previous ownership, but we must say that you have moved it up several notches! The attention to detail is second to none; from the luxurious ‘The White Company’ products to all the goodies in the fridge and cupboards - very much appreciated. The terrace, garden and pool are just so peaceful that we haven’t ventured far! Most of all thank you for being there and for your wonderful company. We hope there will be many more visits to come. Had a fabulous week at Château Velouse. If you're looking for some time out in splendid surroundings, then I can highly recommend Château Velouse. The château is stunning and there is everything there that you will need. We chose to provide our own cooking during our visit but, I know that Philip and Claire can provide a chef should you require. A great place for a family get together. Highly recommended.
