Nous avons vraiment apprécié notre séjour, très pratique pour se promener en ville. Sarlat et ses environs sont magnifiques. La maison et l'emplacement sont parfaits. Cela vaut vraiment une nouvelle visite.
Merveilleux séjour ici à Sarlat. Cette maison est parfaite pour visiter la région. Beaucoup de belles choses à faire à proximité. La maison est dans un endroit magnifique et avec les températures élevées de cette semaine, la piscine a été une aubaine. Tout dans la maison est adapté aux visiteurs et elle est vraiment bien équipée. C'est ma première fois en Dordogne et c'est absolument magnifique. Je reviendrai certainement bientôt. Merci Jackie et Geoff pour ces merveilleuses vacances.
Had a wonderful stay. Undercover garaging for car a bonus. Lovely house and pool, with everything we needed and more. Myrtle made it also. Thank you for all your help whilst we were here.

Nous avons passé un merveilleux séjour dans cette belle maison spacieuse. La piscine et l'espace extérieur sont absolument incroyables. De plus, il y a beaucoup de beaux endroits à visiter à distance de conduite. Nous recommandons fortement !
Beautiful villa in a stunning location. Inside there are large spacious rooms, which are all furnished to a high standard. The property was lovely and clean and well maintained. My husband and I stayed with my daughter and boyfriend, we had the lovely bedroom on the first floor which had a verandah with the most stunning view. I found it difficult to drag myself away from here each morning whilst enjoying my breakfast overlooking the village and church. My daughter had the double on the ground floor which was just as lovely with double doors opening out onto patio area. The villa was large enough for us all to have our own space and privacy. Outside the pool area was stunning, more glorious views. Plenty of sun beds for everyone, a very well equipped area and great pool! I also found it difficult to drag myself away from here, but glad I did as the area is so beautiful. A must is the Gorge du Verdon, the many hill top villages and a visit to the fabulous beaches. After a days sightseeing it was great to come back for a swim before going out to dinner. We did'nt travel far in the evenings as we really enjoyed the hotel in the village. The food was excellent, well presented and good service. Italian was also good. We also enjoyed shopping locally for produce, cooking for ourselves and then relaxing in the garden, followed by a game of boules, what could be better especially after a few glasses of wine! I would recommend a stay here and am looking forward to our return.
Went to this beautiful holiday cottage for the second time. What a great experience again this time. We were warmly welcomed and our house felt like coming home again. Host and hostess Leo and Esther gave us great tips so that our holiday became a great experience again. The visit to Nîmes was impressively beautiful. I especially recommend visiting Avignon to everyone with its beautiful center and the cozy terraces around the market square. The swimming pool overlooking the vineyards is a pearl. The silence descends on you wonderfully in the evening. Truly unique. Thank you for another great holiday.
Merci pour cette semaine mémorable dans votre belle maison. C'est tout ce que nous pouvions souhaiter pour une semaine de détente, loin de nos vies bien remplies! Comme il faisait chaud, nous ne nous sommes pas aventurés loin (à part une excursion en kayak au départ de Ribérac) et avons apprécié la piscine, le barbecue et passer du temps ensemble entre amis. Vraiment parfait.
Charming place and a charming host. Christophe was so friendly and helpful to us. The house had everything we needed and was extremely comfortable and spotlessly clean. I really recommend this place as a wonderful holiday getaway.
This lovely gîte was extremely well equipped to a very high standard throughout, including high speed internet – which was an absolute bonus. The setting is very peaceful but with many beautiful villages to visit within a 15 minute radius, further afield and Bergerac airport just 40 minutes away. The hosts could not have been more welcoming and helpful whilst also very discreet, despite living onsite. We made a very last minute booking and, having a wheelchair user in our party, we had very little choice in properties, so we were incredibly lucky to have found Monpazier Cottages, which was perfect for our needs (and for those of any group looking for a peaceful location from which to explore the wider area). We were also shown around the small conference/business facilities which are really impressive and ideal for small corporate events/meetings/activities. I could not recommend this gîte more highly and know that there will soon be many excellent reviews to read.
Very easy decision to come back again next year, after spending a great couple of weeks here. Mas de Lozanne has an excellent outdoor area – large pool, a terrace that's in the shade all day, 2 hammocks and ample space for table tennis and badminton. All the facilities work well, inc the Wi-Fi and especially the air conditioning which is not only very effective but remarkably quiet. Plus Ina and Dominic (both English speakers) are only a text away to come and help if something goes wrong. The house itself is classic, roomy French farmhouse equipped with all mod cons – comfy lounge with all the British freeview channels, high ceilings and picture postcard views from the bedroom windows. And on top of all that is its brilliant location – there's a 10 minute leisurely walk through a vineyard into the beautiful old historic town of Pézenas.
Stunning - amazing space in and out with many places for children and adults to hide! Great, from well equipped kitchen to playroom. Childproofed but still lots of fun toys for dry and wet days. Great showers and all working brilliantly. Had a fantastic week - Very relaxed and love the set up here. Thank you all.

It's been such a privilege to stay in your beautiful home. Thank you so much for giving us the opportunity to enjoy it. We enjoyed experiencing the art, the atmosphere, the views and the comfort. We really appreciated your very generous gift of wine and provisions. The village is lively and we have made good use of all it has to offer. terrific choice of the alimentation, delightful terrace and delicious food at the Bar de Prores and a timely haivent at Tiffany's Satin. We recommend a trip to Uzes, Nîmes and Avignon and had a delicious lunch on the banks of the Gardon at Colias on the way to the Pont du Gard. Also, do try the real wine from La Grappe d'Or in the village.
Nous faisons écho aux commentaires de vos précédents invités dans votre belle maison et votre jardin. L'attente a été longue avant d'arriver ici, mais cela en valait la peine. Tant de vignobles, tant de châteaux mais si peu de temps. L'un de nos souvenirs impérissables restera d'avoir eu pied au milieu de la Loire sur le lit de la rivière. Nous espérons que la rivière reviendra bientôt.
Ouah! Vous avez un morceau de perfection ici ! J'ai été tellement détendu pendant 2 semaines ici. La piscine a été mon réconfort avec le soleil chaud. L'Isle-sur-la-Sorgue est un endroit charmant avec de nombreuses belles boutiques et des marchés fantastiques. Merci de nous avoir permis de séjourner ici. J'espère revenir.

Pure France clients - We have had an amazing two weeks here in this lovely home. We have enjoyed exploring the local area. We loved kayaking and using a pedalo on the River Lot. We have made really good use of the pool and the secret garden. Thank you so much Alan and Madeline for all your kindness and consideration - and especially taking us on that lovely walk. Nous avons séjourné fin juin pour fêter les 50 ans de ma femme avec ma famille et mes amis (nous étions 16). Le cadre est magnifique et donne sur une vallée particulièrement agréable le soir en se relaxant sur la terrasse avec un ou deux verres de vin. Nous avons passé des vacances fabuleuses. Il y en a pour tous les goûts au château, beaucoup d'activités dans la salle de sport pour occuper tout le monde mais ce que nous avons particulièrement apprécié, c'est la piscine vintage et le parcours de golf qui était difficile mais très amusant. Notre semaine a passé beaucoup trop vite et nous chercherons certainement à y retourner. Merci aux propriétaires Nicky et Richard de nous avoir si bien accueillis et d'avoir fait de l'anniversaire de ma femme une occasion si spéciale.
A huge thank you for making us feel so welcome, we've had a wonderful week in your beautiful property. This has been by far the best house we have stayed in, full of history, character and the personal touch. The pool has been amazing. Evening barbecues have been the highlight. Your kind gift of wine, beers and charcuterie set us up well for the week.
What a fantastic week we have spent at Saint-Sulpice! We thoroughly enjoyed visiting the beautiful local towns, vineyards and châteaux. Not to mention lounging poolside, enjoying plenty of BBQs and most importantly relaxing and catching up. Our daily trips to the village for le Pain and pain au chocolat were also a highlight! Nicholas and Simon have been such amazing hosts. The kindness and generosity they have shown to us made our vacation truly unforgettable! We look forward to returning soon.
This is our second family holiday in this wonderful house. The welcome from Ian and Hugh when we arrived was excellent. The house and garden are beautifully cared for and the standard of accommodation is 'five star'. It felt like home from home rather than a soleless rental property. Having the owners on site was a plus as they where able to guide us with local activities and restaurant recommendations... there is a lot to do in this area and being so close to some of the best wine regions in the world is definitely a big plus. We also has a lovely day in Bordeaux, which is an easy drive or train journey and well worth the effort. We plan to return next year for our summer break and I would not hesitate to recommend this wonderful peaceful haven to anyone wishing to experience the best in hospitality! Thank you Ian and Hugh, you have created something very special!
An absolute joy to stay here! The Loft is perfect in every way. Karen and Russell have literally thought of everything. A wonderful kitchen and gorgeous crockery, loads of utensils - it was a joy to use! Undoubtedly for our four teenagers the Loft terrace has been a major hit. Many an hour has been spent lounging around listening to the water trickling along. Totally relaxing. The recommendations were perfect for things to do, restaurants and vineyards to visit. Karen was so right about la Cite at Carcassonne - beautiful. Many thanks for the welcome, the chats and the wine - we will definitely be back!
Better than it looks in the photos. We are a fussy family from Guildford - this villa ticked all our boxes and more. Comfy beds always a must. Seillans is a picture postcard village. Back soon...
