Well, when Beverley told me she wanted to bring our children and grandchildren for a 'once in a lifetime' holiday, to celebrate our forthcoming 50th wedding anniversary in October, I must be honest I was negative and full of foreboding! But... Domaine de Nérige! Wow, what a place Bev found while I was moping around saying this won’t work. Not only was the location, 'in the middle of nowhere' absolutely perfect but the house was just beautiful with every facility we could possibly have wanted not to mention Sandie and David constantly going the extra mile if we needed advice. Thank you both for being the perfect hosts. We have not one negative word to say about this beautiful property - the rooms were comfortable, cooled where necessary with AC, the plethora of bathrooms is nothing short of extraordinary. Showers perfect and the supply of local wine and your own olive oil is truly the nicest touch. The games room, the space for kids to play on the terrace culminating in the fantastic pool was everything kids and the whole family would want. We didn’t need to leave here and, in fact, we probably did spend more time here that we would have in a 'run of the mill' villa. So finally, thank you to you both. We would love to see you both again but it would not be with such a heavy group of 'hangers on' although Bev’s decision for us to all be together this year was an inspirational one which worked perfectly. Everyone LOVED it.

Une belle maison, bien conçue, un grand jardin et une piscine, beaucoup de choses à faire. Nous recommandons cette maison pour des vacances. Nous reviendrons certainement bientôt pour un séjour plus long. Un grand merci pour votre accueil chaleureux et votre gentillesse.

It is early spring. My husband and I decide to go to the South of France for a fortnight. Our eye has fallen on La Picholine. It is in the Gard region and close to nice places. Like Uzès, Nîmes, Avignon. What a surprising place on arrival. Two enthusiastic owners, proudly showing off their new domaine. There are two gîtes. A large swimming pool, several terraces and expansive views. Our gîte is very comfortable. Spacious living room with dining kitchen. The kitchen is fully equipped. Bedroom is very spacious with good mattresses. Large bathroom with two sinks. As it can be quite chilly in the evening in spring, this cottage has a wood-burning stove with hot air conditioning. It is comfortably warm then. The garden is tastefully decorated. You have your own privacy and that choice is nice. We had a lovely two weeks here and will definitely come back next year. Thank you Esther and Leo for your hospitality.

What a wonderful holiday we have had. We are familiar with the region but La Tourouzelle offers the most amazing place for a holiday: fabulous views to the Pyrénées, a comfortable, well-equipped home and a fantastic pool! There is so much to do here - lovely bastide towns and villes perchées and lots of fêtes and festivals. We have particularly enjoyed the fête at Fanjeaux, the views from the Collégiale at Montréal, a late night walk around la Cité at Carcassonne, the fête du Cassoulet at Castelnaudary and the festival de Pétanque at Limoux. We look forward to another visit.

We were looking for a relaxed holiday and certainly found it at your beautiful house. We have not travelled too far but enjoyed visits to Nîmes and several to the pretty town of Uzes returning late afternoon to relax on the terrace and enjoy the beautiful views. We would thoroughly recommend and hope to revisit in the future. We appreciated the quality and care taken to equip and renovate the house.

La maison de Marie-Christine est idéale pour une famille, elle est décorée avec beaucoup de goût, moderne et aérée. Elle dispose de toute les commodités et sa localisation est idéale (supermarché, boulangeries, centre commercial, centre ville, gare, etc) Marie est une personne charmante. Elle nous a donné des conseils et nous a réservé un bon accueil. Je recommande fortement sa maison qui est entièrement rénovée. Just wanted to say what a great three weeks we’ve had at Le Grand Verger. The house is superb… we are looking at a repeat holiday, returning next year Once again, an outstanding holiday in outstanding surroundings, thank you!
Nous avons passé un merveilleux séjour au Mas Saint-Martial. La piscine était incroyable et les propriétaires étaient des hôtes fantastiques. Ce sont probablement les vacances les plus relaxantes et inspirantes que nous ayons passées, et nous avons rencontré des personnes qui nous auront laissé une marque très positive et pour longtemps.
Remarkable location and situation. Nothing short of the 'wow' factor inside and out. We spent most of the time at the house or in the Médiéval village- too beautiful to venture far! The house and grounds are stunning, great architectural design. Extremeley well equipped. Lots of space for just the 2 of us but planning on coming back again and share with friends. Thanks, fab!
We had a lovely time thank you - we've stayed in many properties in France over the years and I can safely say that Mas Orbiel was the best equipped and most comfortable. It was great being so close to Carcassonne as well. If you will have us again, we would love to return some day!

Les propriétaires, qui habitent à proximité, sont sympathiques et disponibles. Nous y reviendrons avec grand plaisir si l'occasion se présente. Nous remanions vivement cette location.
We have had a wonderful week in your fantastic home. It has been so peaceful and tranquil here by the pool. Seeing the amphitheatre at Nîmes and canoeing under the Pont Du Gard were the highlights.

Nous avons passé 10 jours merveilleux en famille au Château de Saussignac. La grande piscine avec vue sur les vignes était magnifique. Le jardin possédait même un petit potager (les propriétaires sont des auteurs de livres de cuisine) où nous pouvions cueillir toutes les herbes et légumes. Les lits sont magnifiques, les salles de bains et la cuisine sont complètes. De l'autre côté de la rue se trouve un très bon restaurant proposant des déjeuners et des dîners. L'aéroport se trouve à 30 minutes en voiture et tous les commerces sont à proximité. Le château est fortement recommandé et nous reviendrons certainement!
Maison magnifique - superbement équipée ! Nous avons vraiment apprécié les ventilateurs par temps chaud ! La salle de jeux était super - nous n'avons pratiquement pas vu les enfants de toute la semaine ! Vos recommandations dans les pages violettes étaient excellentes. Une très bonne excursion à Royan pour déguster des fruits de mer. S'asseoir sur la terrasse tout en admirant la vue était magnifique.
Lovely house in an ideal situation. We had a wonderful time doing a little exploring but mainly lying by the beautiful pool. It's an ideal design to sit in and cool off. Two minutes walk for croissants in the morning and Rose wine in the afternoon - the Supermarket! We agree its a 5 / 5.
We have had a most amazing week. The weather has been perfect and this beautiful house has been a haven of peace and tranquility for adults and children alike. Needless to say we don't want to go home!
We had a wonderful holiday in this beautiful home. The kitchen and living area was so spacious and comfortable and the outside space was equally ideal. The pool was delightful and spacious allowing the six of us to enjoy it at the same time. The kitchen had everything we could ask for - literally home from home. The only regret about this holiday was having only one week there as it wasn’t long enough! We most definitely would return.
Converted farmhouse near Gordes. Beautiful property both inside and out, lounging by the pool listening to the birds and looking at the treetops gently swaying in the breeze is a little slice of heaven.

Ce fut un plaisir de vous rencontrer et je ne peux que contempler et admirer votre dévouement, votre détermination et votre courage dans la création de la propriété de vos rêves, ce qui est ressorti si clairement lors de notre conversation le dernier matin avant notre départ. Ce furent de bonnes vacances... appréciées de tous... mais sans aucun doute le lieu et l'hôtesse ont été les vedettes du spectacle et nous sommes très heureux d'avoir eu l'opportunité de passer du temps avec vous et de découvrir la région. J'espère qu'à un moment donné nous pourrons revenir, mais en attendant, restez en contact et bonne chance pour tout !
