Weather lovely watching the house and surroundings. Trip to a little place 45 or so miles away called Coulon well worth a day out there. It was a very pretty riverside town where you could hire bikes, canoes or kayaks or take a leisurely stroll only the banks. Then enjoy refreshments at the riverside bars/restaurants while enjoying the sunshine and scenery. Will definitely visit again. Stayed here many times and never get tired as there is always somewhere new to go and explore (if you can bear ro tear yourself away from here). Thanks Anna and James for letting us use your beautiful house.

C'était notre sixième visite à la Maison Baleyssagues - c'est vraiment un endroit parfait où séjourner ! La villa était aussi confortable et élégante que les précédentes vacances, avec de nombreuses nouvelles touches élégantes que nous avons appréciées. Il y a tout ce dont une famille peut avoir besoin, des jeux et des livres à une magnifique nouvelle cuisine en passant par un terrain fantastique pour se promener et où jouer. La piscine en particulier a été bien utilisée car il faisait très chaud lors de notre visite. C'est un bel endroit pour nager et se détendre. La campagne environnante est magnifique et offre de nombreux endroits amusants et intéressants à visiter avec d'excellents restaurants à proximité. Nos préférés sont La Terrasse à Duras et le Restaurant Italien Des Arcades à Eymet. Le marché nocturne de Duras vaut également le détour pour déguster des vins et des plats locaux. C'était notre sixième visite à la villa mais ce ne sera pas la dernière !
Un grand merci à nos hôtes. Un accueil très chaleureux, plein de bons conseils pour nous permettre de passer un agréable séjour. Nous avons particulièrement apprécié d’avoir 3 sdb qui nous a donné beaucoup de confort et surtout la mise à disposition de nombreux vélos en très bon état qui nous ont permis de faire de superbes ballades. Le jardin est très agréable et propice à créer de beaux souvenirs de we barbecue - piscine entre amis.
We loved staying here. Domaine du Château is full of character and very comfortable. With the giant wine press in the dining room and the vines across the lane, you certainly know you are in Burgundy. We really liked the mix of antique French furniture and original contemporary art works, so nicely done. The kitchen is beautiful and really well equipped and the market in Beaune is amazing for fantastic local produce. Apart from driving through all the famous vineyards and going wine tasting, we really enjoyed visiting the château at Rochepot and the ancient market at Nolay. The countryside is very pretty and great for walking, but best of all, was just sitting drinking wine on the terrace, enjoying the wonderful view and tranquillity. We booked the Eurostar to Le Creusot which made the journey really easy and quick. You can pick 'up a hire car' at the station and then it's just a short drive down quiet country roads which felt a world away from London. Would definitely recommend!

I enjoyed a wonderful stay at Rusty Shears with friends. The hosts Kirstie and Russell have thought of everything and are on hand if you need anything at all. Beautiful decor, spacious living area and bedrooms. Comfortable beds and powerful showers. The patio and outdoor area is also lovely with great views across surrounding land. The gite is in a lovely peaceful location, but close to historic towns if you like to explore. We also went on a fantastic local wine tasting experience recommended by Russell.
A lovely town house in a quiet village, with the added bonus of a pool. We enjoyed dining on the terrace in the evening watching the sun set.

Nous avons apprécié la belle nature, les beaux sites à proximité et la piscine rafraîchissante. La maison est très bien équipée et offre une vue des plus incroyables ! Si nous en avons l'occasion à l'avenir, nous serions ravis de revenir.

We have just returned from a fabulous fortnight. The listing and reviews stated the house was comfy and well equipped, well I can totally vouch for that. We wanted for nothing. Beds are very comfy, the outdoor area is outstanding. Everything you could want is to hand. One, if not the best pool we've ever used and Martyn keeps it spotless everyday. The owners are on hand if needed or not. The village is excellent, a short walk with a restaurant. Highly recommended and we'll be back.

After many weeks of uncertainty, our decision to drive down to the Loft du Vigneron has been vindicated by a superb week. Thank you so much for all that you have done to make our week so memorable; especially prior to us leaving the UK. Your e-mails and your flexibility made us have a sense of connection before we had met you both. We have appreciated all the small touches that have made our stay easier - from the notes, welcome pack, advice, booking restaurants, etc. A good life is made up of special memories. It's hard to know where to start with this wonderful home, the inside and outside are so special its impossible to choose a 'best bit'! I didn't know this part of France at all and whilst it was a wonderful discovery, the château itself stands head and shoulders above its surroundings (literally) with his jaw dropping views. 360 degrees of rolling hills, almost no building in sight and just the sheep and their charming bells the only signs of neighbours. The pictures simply can't do it justice. The house itself is extremely luxurious in its proportions and furnishings. The main difference to other holiday homes is that it is so evidently a comfortable home. We had one rainy day on our trip and the excuse to be inside for the evening with the fire and comfortable sofa's was a great treat. The mixed accommodation is wonderful, with the farm house next to the château and the two charming cottages in the grounds. Very much one for a gang of friends or large family. The owners provide some brilliant suggestions on what to do when venturing further afield - should you want to! But there seem to be endless possibilities, in our brief 10 days we discovered so much and feel we could happily come back every year for 10 years and still be finding new spots. The castle at Foix is an absolute must for children and for adults, if you don't want to go parachuting after your market trip to beautiful Mirepoix the Michelin restaurant 8 minutes away in Camon is a must. But equally with the tennis court, heated pool, choice of terraces to eat on, chapel, lake and boat it would be entirely possible to spend a happy week going no where at all. Perhaps apart from a trip down the drive to Olivier and Marielle's informal shop. Heaven.
Superbe hébergement dans un endroit fabuleux ! Nous avons passé un merveilleux séjour – le gîte était tout simplement parfait pour nous. Au calme, avec de grands espaces extérieurs et une belle piscine. Le gîte est très bien équipé et meublé avec goût, avec tout le nécessaire pour un séjour loin de chez soi. Mark a été très accueillant et nous a bien conseillés pour nos besoins locaux. Nous avons profité de ses relations pour visiter une incroyable distillerie de cognac/pineau locale et avons terminé la journée en cuisinant au gîte par Reza Mahammad (chef réputé au répertoire culinaire exceptionnel). Ce moment a été d'autant plus agréable lorsque Reza a partagé avec nous l'histoire et les origines des plats que nous avons dégustés – un vrai régal ! Nous recommandons la propriété comme une excellente option pour les couples ou les familles qui recherchent le calme tout en étant à proximité de nombreuses villes et attractions intéressantes.
Nous avons choisi cette propriété pour sa piscine et son espace extérieur et nous n'avons pas été déçus. C'est un endroit magnifique qui a rendu nos vacances si spéciales. Tout est si bien entretenu et les propriétaires ont pensé à tant de choses. On voit qu'ils en sont très fiers. Nous avons adoré utiliser la machine à café et la confiture maison était délicieuse. Nous avons adoré nos barbecues du soir sur la terrasse sous l'auvent, mais sauter et jouer dans la piscine était le top. Des souvenirs pour toute une vie. Merci beaucoup.
What a beautiful location, breathtaking. A very warm welcome, you feel at home because of the fine reception. The hosts help you with everything you could want. The gîte is also spick and span and meets all your needs. Had a very relaxing holiday. Exactly as it should be! We recommend it to everyone and will definitely come here again.
How to know where to start? Simply stunning house, gorgeous wether, sumptuous food and the best company! Thank you both so much for having us stay and we can't wait to come back and see you all again.

Nous avons adoré ce calme ! Merci beaucoup d'avoir fait de notre semaine ici la meilleure que nous ayons jamais passée en France. Toute votre aide et vos conseils nous ont permis de passer une semaine parfaite. Nous pouvons certainement recommander la Route du Sel. La location de vélos à Gennes était également un excellent moyen de découvrir La Loire. Merci aussi d'avoir si bien entretenu la maison et le jardin. Nous espérons revenir!
Nous avons passé 5 jours fantastiques dans ce charmant appartement. L'emplacement était merveilleux, à 30 secondes de la plage et avec également accès à la piscine sur le toit (dans un bâtiment adjacent). Accès facile à une ligne de train (20 minutes à pied) ou à des lignes de bus. Le supermarché à 5 minutes à pied était un bonus. Pour manger, beaucoup de choix de restaurants, à 10 minutes à pied offrant une gamme variée. La vue depuis l'appartement était charmante notamment sur la baie en direction de Nice. L'appartement correspondait à tout ce que nous voulions. Les activités de plage étaient nombreuses, du jet ski à la voile en passant par la plongée avec tuba, etc.
Jolie maison pleine de charme et authentique à Lusignac. La maison est telle que décrite avec d'excellents équipements pour nos vacances d'été. Nous étions 8 adultes avec 2 bébés (2 ans et 18 mois) et la maison nous a tous très bien accueillis.
We could not have made a better decision than to come to Villa La Baronne to spend the end of the year. The house is magnificent, the location unbeatable both for the surroundings (the river, the forest, the small towns...) and the proximity to Toulouse. The house has the services you expect and much more. An excellent experience that I hope we can repeat again. Thanks to Isabelle and Philippe for offering Villa La Baronne guests a five-star stay. Beautiful location with magnificent views with vines and sunflowers. Charming host. Perfect for running and walking. Good clean pool with covered area alongside so ideal for being in the shade. House very comfortable with all amenities including air con throughout.
Nous avons passé une semaine fantastique à la Villa Bellara en mai 2026. La propriété était impeccable et nous nous sommes sentis comme chez nous dès notre arrivée. Notre groupe était composé de quatre couples, et la villa était si spacieuse que chaque couple a pu profiter de son propre étage. Chaque chambre était climatisée, confortable et disposait de sa propre salle de bain, ce qui a rendu notre séjour particulièrement agréable. La cuisine est grande et très bien équipée, idéale pour préparer les repas, et nous avons également beaucoup apprécié le barbecue à gaz Weber. La piscine chauffée était excellente ; nous l’avons utilisée tous les jours et c’était un véritable atout de la villa. L’emplacement est idéal : située dans un quartier résidentiel calme, la villa se trouve à seulement 15 minutes à pied de la plage, où l’on trouve un large choix de bars et de restaurants. Un supermarché et plusieurs boulangeries sont également accessibles à pied. Les transports en commun sont très bien desservis, ce qui facilite les excursions à Nice, Cannes, Monaco et au-delà ; il n’est pas nécessaire de louer une voiture. Jean-Luc, le propriétaire, a été extrêmement accueillant et a pris le temps de tout nous expliquer sur la villa à notre arrivée. Il a également précisé qu'il était disponible si nous avions besoin de quoi que ce soit pendant notre séjour, ce que nous avons beaucoup apprécié. Nous recommandons vivement la Villa Bellara et espérons y revenir.
