Cette villa est incroyable. La vue est époustouflante. J'ai séjourné dans la chambre en rez-de-chaussée, à côté de la salle de bain. Une jolie pièce de vie avec accès à la terrasse, un super spot pour voir les couchers de soleil. Serviettes de bonne qualité, des John Lewis! La chambre à l'étage a une jolie salle de bain et un balcon avec une vue splendide. Juste magnifique. Prendre son petit-déjeuner sous l'olivier a été un plaisir. La piscine a de bonnes dimensions et est très profonde. Très bien entretenue, avec une couverture. L'aire autour de la piscine est spacieuse, avec assez de bains de soleil et un bel espace avec barbecue. Les jardins sont magnifiques, il y a un terrain de pétanque, des oliviers à perte de vue et des massifs de fleurs devant la villa. La cuisine est très bien équipée, nous y avons mangé la plupart du temps. Et il y a une buanderie aussi. Une belle villa dans une belle région de France. Très reposant. Une perle rare.
Your house is absolutely astonishing - out of this world. A taste of life in a château. It is a remarkable achievement to have restored the buildings. Thank you for the generous gift of food on arrival.
Lovely villa, boys enjoyed the pool and the garden! Had great trips to Montpellier and Carcassonne. Visit Pézenas on a Wednesday evening and visit all of the artisans stores! For beaches the long stretch between Sète and Agde is very quiet.
Nous avons passé un excellent séjour au calme dans votre maison ! Nous sommes allés un jour à Carcassonne en voiture et avons visité cette belle région. La piscine est super, elle va nous manquer !
We stayed here during early August. The property is out in the countryside and provided a very welcome quite location for a relaxing vacation. The property has character, built in traditional stone and has extensive grounds to explore. There is a wonderful view of the Château de Biron from the front of the property. The château is well worth a visit and if you climb to the top you can pick out the property in the distance. The pool is fantastic and we spent many hours by and in the pool. We had great fun playing water volleyball. The house has all amenities that you want, although the Wi-Fi can be slow, but this has to be expected out in the country as I explained to my children! If staying here in the summer, take a walk just before sunset, out the drive and turn left. Just down the road you will catch some great sunsets and you are likely to see lots of deer at the same time. Visit Monpazier a few miles away. It's a great place to find a restaurant and wonder around this beautiful bastide town.
La Barde is much more than a holiday house - a real home beautifully decorated, very comfortable and clean and with a spacious, well equipped kitchen which was a pleasure to cook in. The host made us feel really welcome and went out of her way to provide everything we needed from the clear maps she sent to help us find the house to finding out about kayaking for us and even bringing us plenty of extra games and dvd's when the rain came down on our second day. In spite of the weather we really enjoyed the pool in its beautiful setting and the boys enjoyed playing football in the meadow. The gardens are beautiful and we enjoyed exploring and walking through to the lane and up to the small bar in the village. We hired bikes which were delivered and picked up and it was a great way to explore the surrounding countryside and villages. We all hope to go back next summer, there is so much in the area still to see though if the sun shone I don't think we would want to leave the garden and swimming pool! Thank you for a really memorable holiday.
Merci pour ce séjour merveilleux. Les alentours sont parfaits pour visiter les nombreux châteaux et villages typiques. Le centre équestre local est génial! Nous avons fait une belle balade à travers la campagne. Nous espérons revenir un jour.
Unique en son genre: Le Mas Pouget a conservé son histoire (pierres, agencement) et propose un aménagement moderne et une décoration originale, recherchée, tout en étant douce et apaisante... Nous avons séjourné avec 4 couples d'amis, et avons bénéficié chacun de beaucoup d'intimité et d'espace. Les chambres sont très grandes, lumineuses, la literie est de très bonne qualité. L'accueil est parfait, nous avons été séduits par les attentions du propriétaire (du jamais vu malgré nos nombreux séjours locatifs)! Enfin, la région est magnifique et offre plein d'activités. Si l'on devait chercher un point négatif?.... On n'a pas trouvé. Nous reviendrons, c'est sûr.
Merci - Si jamais il y avait un endroit où une famille pouvait être ensemble après une si longue période, s'il y avait jamais un endroit où le sens de l'accueil, de la paix et de l'amour de plusieurs générations, s'il y avait jamais eu un endroit dans l'imagination d'une telle beauté, à la fois à l'intérieur et à l'extérieur des murs anciens, alors Le Malardier est cet endroit. Nous avons été sublimement heureux et cette semaine restera extrêmement précieuse pour nous tous.

Wanted to say a massive thank you for letting us stay at your incredible house. How lucky you are to have that place - from the family photos, it looks like you have a lot of great memories from years gone by. We had a very relaxing time hanging out with our family at the house and thoroughly enjoyed pottering around the French countryside. It was just what the doctor ordered! Patrick and Jayne were also very helpful throughout our stay so please do thank them for their amazing hospitality

We had a lovely week at the farmhouse with lots of swimming and relaxing by the pool. The children (and adults!) have enjoyed the excellent selection of toys and games. Wonderful location for days out nearby and we would recommend the local boulangerie for morning croissants and freshly baked bread. Leaving with lots of happy memories.
Totally loved the week that we had here! The pool was really private and if your after a pizza then visit Le Yacca, the best pizzas in the world! (in Pézenas). Enjoy your stay.
Juste un petit mot pour vous remercier de nous avoir permis de séjourner à la propriété pendant 2 semaines. La maison est très bien équipée avec de nombreuses informations à portée de main. Durant cette semaine nous avons visité Gordes et Châteauneuf-du-Pape. La région est magnifique et nous reviendrons.

Wow what a fab house! We had a brill time chilling in the garden and visiting local toddler friendly places... Would highly recommend the following:- Monkey village, paddling at Villefagnan and Cognac visit. We spotted red squirrels in the garden. The welcome pack is the best and most comprehensive we have every had and was so appreciated. Thank you! We would love to come again some time!

What an amazing week in a stunning home. The house is exquisitely designed and the attention to detail is fantastic. The views are beautiful and the area so quiet and peaceful. I slept in one of the bedrooms on the ground floor and had the best night's sleep I've had for years… the mattress is heavenly. Not many people can lie in bed watching red squirrels leaping through the surrounding trees can they! The small kitchen area on the ground floor along with the 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms means the whole floor can be very separate and quiet if two families were to share the house. The middle floor is a great entertaining space with a spotless and very modern kitchen with dining / living area leading out to the garden and pool. It was a real treat to have the local bar / restaurant within a short walking distance. It's very easy to sit and enjoy the local wine! The one thing I hadn't bargained for was the abundance of wildlife, although with the roads being so quiet I suppose I shouldn't have been surprised. The red squirrels and deer can be seen from the balconies and fantastic infinity pool overlooking the valley. The cushions for the outdoor furniture are very comfy. Once again, there are various areas to sit / eat and enjoy the garden if different age groups or families stay here. So to sum it all up…a fab holiday home in beautiful surroundings – 10 / 10. PS If you attempt the puzzle in the games cupboard… start it as soon as you arrive because it's tricky but irresistible!
We enjoyed a very happy week at the villa. The only problem was that the villa is so nice that most of our plans for getting out and about were abandoned! We loved the privacy of the garden and pool area.
Nous ne pouvions rêver mieux, une maison merveilleuse et un emplacement magnifique pour de très belles vacances. Vous avez été des hôtes parfaits. Nous avons adoré nos balades au petit matin dans la campagne - le décor idéal pour nos fiançailles.
Merci pour ce merveilleux séjour ! La piscine est magnifique et toute la maison impeccable et très confortable. Éric était toujours disponible pour aider et s'occuper de la piscine et des espaces extérieurs. Nous avons passé un très bon moment et nous vous reverrons bientôt!
