A very enjoyable stay. A place full of charm and a warm welcome.
Your house is lovely and we all had a relaxing and enjoyable week. I think I can safely say that in all the years of hiring holiday accommodation in France we have not stayed in such a well appointed and well equipped property. We would all have happily stayed for another week. Jez and Bridget were a pleasure to deal with, very accommodating and very helpful. Thank you

Elle doit être la villa de vacances d'été parfaite pour une petite famille. En couple nous avons été rejoints par quelques amis pour une partie de notre séjour et nous avons passé de très bons moments au soleil. Le restaurant O 13 Clochers à Monteton a changé de direction et sert une cuisine délicieuse. Hostellerie des Ducs de bonne qualité - et le restaurant aux Seyches a un rapport qualité-prix incroyable. Nous sommes sûrs de revenir.
Quelles merveilleuses vacances reposantes. À part une excursion d'une journée à Nantes, nous avons passé toute la semaine à nous détendre au bord de la piscine. Les machines de l'Île valent le détour. Archie, 7 ans, a été totalement époustouflé par l'éléphant mécanique. Nous reviendrons certainement lorsque l'arbre aux hérons sera terminé. Le gîte est très bien équipé et un merveilleux chez-soi. Ian et Jean étaient très accueillants et sont une mine d'informations. Nous nous sommes forgés des souvenirs ici.
Spent two wonderful vacation weeks with fantastic weather in this villa. Les Bambous is a very nice house and you feel at home straight away welcomed by the most friendly owners. You could tell that it also is a real family home, very well equipped and more cared for compared to a villa just used for rentals. The garden with the pool is beautiful with several different places where you could sit and relax. Really enjoyed the terrace where we had some great BBQ dinners in the evenings. Would highly recommend this villa.

Bien que nous n'étions que 4, nous avons profité au maximum de l'espace extérieur disponible, mangeant chaque repas dans une partie différente, en suivant l'ombre. Thank you for a wonderful two weeks at your beautiful home, we fell in love with Les Marquises as soon as we stepped out of the car the gorgeous gardens, plants, flowers and the views! Then the house where to start, the clever beautiful sense of style and decoration in every room is enchanting, warm and welcoming and although we enjoyed visiting Nyons, Vaison la Romaine and Orange, the best part of our holiday was just relaxing around the swimming pool and enjoying this outstandingly beautiful place. Thank you so much for this most memorable holiday.
Narbonne is a classic, small French city. The villa is a perfect match and then some - more spacious than the pictures suggest and terrific spaces both outdoor and in. Well be back for more visits and more wine!
Nous 8 (trois générations) avons passé un moment fabuleux au Malardier. La maison est magnifique et très confortable et les vues étaient époustouflantes. J'ai accompli mon projet d'essayer tous les sièges extérieurs pour profiter des nombreuses vues ! Nous partons le cœur lourd. Fortement recommandé: un repas cuisiné par Louise, bien mieux que de nombreux restaurants !

We fell in love with holidaying in France almost 30 years ago and I used to think that my heart belonged to Provence, until we stumbled across beautiful Manoir de Fouilloux, nestled in the lush green countryside of the Dordogne. Hugh and Ian, the hosts of the house are incredibly welcoming and attentive, but equally unobtrusive when you just want to relax on your own. They are very knowledgeable about the area and will give you their time all day, every day should you so desire, along with Oscar, their lovely dog, who is very happy to be fussed over or left alone to sleep in the shade out of sight. The interior of the house is breathtakingly beautiful. It is evident from the moment you step through the door, that so much thought and attention to detail has gone into every corner of the building; from the beautiful stone floors, to the light filled bedrooms with the most sumptuous bed linen (and the most comfortable beds we have ever slept on), to the fabulous showers and well equipped kitchen, every part of the house is simply brimming with everything you could ever need to make your stay as relaxing as possible. From the stunning interior, you step outside to the rear courtyard garden, which is inspired by the Yves Saint Laurent Moroccan garden and it's like nothing you could ever imagine. The vibrant blue that is unique to YSL garden has been matched exactly and is dotted around the garden with careful thought, creating a wonderfully calming area to relax in, with the magnificent tiled pond being the centrepiece of the area. Off the garden is the outdoor kitchen / seating area and again is a fantastically well thought out area, complete with it's own set of glass and tableware (so you don't have to keep going back into the kitchen to get things), outdoor gas barbecue and dishwasher, they really have thought of everything! It is truly the most tranquil place to spend time with family and friends. The pool at the front of the house is magnificent, complete with poolside lights, it is a fabulous place to enjoy in the evening too. Lying on the sun loungers soaking up the sun and looking out over the amazing garden is so restful; you'll never want to leave the house. But leave you must, as there is so much to see in the surrounding area; nearby St Aulaye has a pretty little town square where you can enjoy a relaxing drink, Saint-Jean-de-Côle, a beautiful medieval village dating back to the 11th Century, is so attractive with it's ochre coloured houses and the tranquil river Cole running through it. From Saint-Jean-de-Côle you can easily visit the caves at Villars; being a bit claustrophobic I declined to go down with the rest of the family, but they do come highly recommended! Another very pretty village is nearby Aubeterre, which has the most spectacular views, small selection of shops and restaurants dotted around a vibrant village square and at the foot of the village you can find a river beach, canoeing centre, football club and tennis club. Brantome is a charming town, often dubbed the Venice of Perigord, due to the river Dronne running through it. If you've ever read 'The Matchmaker of Perigord', you will find Brantôme mentioned in this and as you wander around the town, you can really see the characters come to life. It has a good selection of shops and restaurants so is definitely a worthy visit, even if you haven't read the book. Manoir de Fouilloux, is truly a magical place to stay, it is like coming up for fresh air. The only criticism I have of it is that once visited, you will never want to go anywhere ever again, so sorry guys, see you next year...
Quelle semaine incroyable - nous cherchions un endroit pour nous détendre et nous l'avons trouvé ! La maison avait tout ce dont nous avions besoin. La piscine était parfaite, le temps magnifique - j'ai adoré le distributeur automatique de baguettes dans le village - parfait ! Nous avons exploré Châteaubriant, Angers et Le Mans. Gastronomie époustouflante et Le Mans valait vraiment le détour. Merci - nous reviendrons bientôt.
Nous ne pouvions rêver mieux, une maison merveilleuse et un emplacement magnifique pour de très belles vacances. Vous avez été des hôtes parfaits. Nous avons adoré nos balades au petit matin dans la campagne - le décor idéal pour nos fiançailles.

Amazing! We have never stayed in a better house. It is absolutely fantastic.
We had a great week at Maison Lemance in August. We were two families with grown up children and partners but there was still plenty of space for everyone. The extensive garden and terrace was ideal for outside dining and chilling out around the pool in the sunshine as well as providing more energetic activities such as table tennis, badminton and boules. With no light pollution, there was some stunning night time star gazing. The house was well equipped to accommodate and cater for our large party. For those who wanted to drag themselves away from the pool, there was plenty to do including bustling night markets and trips to Bergerac and Cahors. Sam was a terrific host and was very helpful and accommodating before and during our stay.
Un très gros coup de cœur pour cet endroit magnifique. Dans un cadre apaisant, décoré avec soin qu'il s'agisse des chambres, de l'intérieur ou des extérieurs, vous pourrez profiter de la piscine et du spa. Mention spéciale à Sarah qui avec son professionnalisme a su faire de ce lieu un endroit unique propice à la détente.

We are back again! Thank you so much Jackie and Geoff, we had the most fantastic stay again. The house was beautiful and the pool was perfect. We made the most of the silos and spent 99% of the time outside. Drinks at Le Pub and dinner at plenty of new restaurants! No car needed. Thank you!
Nous avons séjourné au Joli Fleuron en juillet avec notre fille, notre mari et nos 3 jeunes enfants de moins de 3 ans. C'est notre deuxième séjour, le premier étant pré-Covid et nous avons été ravis de voir que le standing de cette magnifique propriété est toujours aussi élevé. C'est un endroit parfait pour se détendre et totalement sécurisé pour les enfants, y compris les tout-petits. Immensement spacieux et bien équipé à l'intérieur, l'extérieur est magnifique avec tout ce dont vous avez besoin pour des vacances. Avec Duras et ses commerces, restaurants et marchés à seulement 5 minutes en voiture, c'est vraiment un endroit parfait !
Je voulais juste dire quel moment fantastique nous avons passé lors de notre récent séjour au Domaine de Nérige. La maison est magnifique, d'une propreté impeccable et a tout ce dont vous pourriez avoir besoin. La vue est fabuleuse. Sandie est un hôte fantastique et la nourriture qu'elle a préparée était excellente. Nous aimerions beaucoup revenir, c'est sûr.
We are having a truly wonderful holiday. We have not wanted for anything, Le Chai has been the perfect home for our 2 week hols.
