Mon mari et moi avec nos 2 enfants (10 et 12 ans) avons séjourné au Borghesia pendant une semaine et c'était vraiment un bonheur. La maison est fraîche et à une température agréable en revenant s'abriter du soleil, bien équipée avec lave-vaisselle, grand réfrigérateur-congélateur, lave-linge et sèche-linge. De grands canapés confortables et une télévision connectée ont assuré le bonheur des enfants après des journées de farniente au bord de la piscine, des balades à vélo ou du canoë sur la Dordogne. Le tout à quelques minutes à vélo. C'est un endroit très privé, sans circulation ni bruit à part les oiseaux et bien sûr quand les adorables chiens de Victoire sont venus dire bonjour. C'est une immense maison et une immense piscine, elle peut donc facilement accueillir 8 personnes avec de nombreuses chaises longues de luxe, des chaises, des parasols et même une jolie grange à côté de la piscine. Je dois mentionner à nouveau la piscine car elle est magnifique !!!

We had the most lovely week at La Chartreuse de Montfort for a week in the middle of September. The weather was gorgeous and sunny during the day but slightly autumnal in the morning and evening, so we ate breakfast outside but dinner inside around the lovely dining table with a fire in the amazing wood burner to give that cosy feeling to the sitting room. As a group of 10 friends, the house was lovely and spacious with plenty of room for everyone to eat, sit inside or out or enjoy some quiet time in the little study as they wished. The views from the terrace are extraordinary! Ever changing - amazing sunrises with the mist hanging in the valley and then the meandering Dordogne river below. The pool was lovely, warm and easy to access but rather nice that it was situated on the lower terrace so you could have a peaceful swim. The house itself it completely private yet only 10 minutes away from the supermarket and the lovely medieval town of Sarlat. So much to do in the area that you are spoilt for choice - castles, walking, cycling, canoeing, gardens, caves and ancient dwellings, markets - and plenty of excellent places to eat - highly recommend Ô Moulin in Carsac for an extraordinary culinary experience. To be honest, though, the house is so well equipped and comfortable, eating dinner ‘chez-nous’ was our preferred option, washed down with excellent local Bergerac wines! Was the holiday long enough? Certainly not! Would we go again? Absolutely, can’t wait!
Fabulous views, kayaking, la grand ascent de Ventoux. Everything a very relaxing fortnight in Provence should be. Sadly the real world beckons. Thank you.
The house was the perfect setting for our party of 8. The bedrooms were all a good size and with 3 bathrooms and great air conditioning they were perfect. The indoor kitchen and dining area are huge and are the best equipped we have ever had. The outside areas are just outstanding. We used the bbq a couple of times and ate outside every evening. The table tennis was fab and we developed a great love for darts! The pool is to die for. In terms of the area, Collins bar is a 5/10 minute drive away and is open from 5pm for drinks on a hilltop. We had a meal and wine tasting at Logeril (Pennautier) which we loved. There are plenty of pizzerias a short drive away. Clearly a car or two are required
Deuxième séjour dans cette magnifique maison, c’est toujours un lieu aussi enchanteur. La nature bien sûr est splendide mais l’espace intérieur et l’aménagement sont vraiment de grande qualité. Les chambres sont particulièrement spacieuses, la literie parfaite, la décoration mêle l’ancien et le moderne de façon très harmonieuse. Les espaces communs sont très bien aménagés, mention spéciale pour le baby-foot dans un salon au frais qui a régalé les enfants. La cuisine est grande et pourvue de plus que le nécessaire. La piscine est totalement sécurisée avec un système d’ouverture coulissante très maniable. Nous reviendrons avec plaisir.
We love the design and build of the house and have enjoyed our stay here with our family enormously. The pool has provided a great deal of fun for all and there is so much opportunity for relaxation and enjoying all the local produce!
Thank you for a truly fabulous week at Mas de Clouze. The accommodation, pool and grounds were just perfect and the owners so friendly and helpful. We didn’t want to return home and will be back next year.

Nous serions ravis de revenir x Nous avons passé une semaine incroyable ici à la Maison La Pérouse. Oscar et Olive ont tous deux adoré explorer le jardin. Oscar a particulièrement aimé jouer à cache-cache dans les bois, faire des tours sur le trampoline et repérer les poissons dans l'étang. La piscine a été fantastique et nous avons adoré les nuits ensoleillées le soir dans le jardin. Merci Sue, Pat et Amber pour votre merveilleuse hospitalité et vos recommandations. Merci pour ce séjour agréable.

La villa est magnifique et nous avons adoré le quartier, même s'il faisait un peu plus chaud que prévu, alors j'ai beaucoup apprécié la climatisation ! Linda a été fabuleuse et très serviable, tous mes remerciements. Merci encore et j'espère pouvoir vous revoir plus tard cette année !
Nous avons passé un moment absolument charmant. La villa est très confortable et bien équipée. La salle de gym, la grande piscine et le jardin sont fantastiques. Je donne à cette villa une note de 10 sur 10, nous reviendrons l'année prochaine.
La propriété est un endroit idéal pour passer un séjour relaxant, très agréable dans le Périgord. Dommage que la deuxième semaine n'était pas disponible.
Nous venons de rentrer d'une semaine fabuleuse au Mas des Rivailles. La propriété est située le long d'une route calme et la plupart du temps, on n'entendait que le chant des oiseaux. Nous avons déjà séjourné dans la région, mais il y avait encore des endroits que nous voulions visiter. Cependant, nous avons eu la chance d'avoir un temps superbe et nous avons décidé de rester à la villa la plupart du temps car nous ne voulions tout simplement pas quitter la piscine et l'atmosphère relaxante. La piscine d'eau salée est certainement la meilleure que nous ayons eue jusqu'à présent. La villa est bien équipée et a tout ce dont vous pourriez avoir besoin. Elle était impeccablement propre et les jardins sont bien entretenus. Nous tenons à remercier tout particulièrement Frédéric qui nous a accueillis à notre arrivée et qui a été très serviable et sympathique, rien n'était trop difficile. Il nous a fait une visite guidée et nous a expliqué comment tout fonctionnait. Cela a certainement permis de bien commencer nos vacances. Un délicieux et généreux pack de bienvenue nous attendait à notre arrivée aussi. Nous recommandons vivement cette propriété à tous ceux qui recherchent des vacances reposantes.
La maison est magnifique, on s'y sent comme à la maison, la cuisine est entièrement équipée pour toutes les éventualités. Nous avons bien dormi dans des lits confortables et apprécié le magnifique jardin. Merci Sharon d'avoir recommandé le bar local pour les repas - nous y avons passé une nuit fantastique et quelques verres d'après-midi farniente aussi ! Vous avez été plus que serviable, c'était un plaisir de vous rencontrer, vous et votre « Lulu ». Nous avons passé un merveilleux séjour, merci beaucoup.

A very beautiful and cosy apartment, so nice! We had a really nice week in Magalas and Le Paradis Secret! We really enjoyed our stay.
Can't believe we have to leave our new home in Najac. The château is magnificent—striking and enormous, yet cozy and welcoming; an easy walk to the lovely village, yet splendidly private and quiet on its own hill. Amazing views, spotlessly clean, superbly equipped and with the best pool we've ever had! The only thing that matches the château and setting is the warm, attentive and super-knowledgeable welcome and help from Henrietta and her team. They helped us to make the most of our stay. Those extra-mile touches made all the difference and we really appreciated them. We loved getting to know this part of France, which seems to combine so many of the wonderful things from the more 'discovered' regions, adding a twist or 2, delivered with a smile.

Great house in a great location. Enjoyed by all ages 9 to 70 years. Something for everybody. Kids and adults wowed with the pool.
Beautifully renovated, well equipped house, ideal for family / friends gathering. Three quite separate sets of 2 double/ twin bedrooms with en-suites and seating areas, so plenty of privacy. Well equipped kitchen (loads of fridge space) and separate bar / fridge/ dishwasher area. Plenty of seating and dining space both inside and out on two terraces. Kids loved the pool and outside space, playing volley ball in the garden. We enjoyed the views and quiet surroundings. My parents enjoyed the local towns and villages; and the cakes! Daily cleaning included by lovely housekeeper/ gardener who live next door. We didn't know they were there except when we needed them. The area is beautiful if you have the energy to travel, Beaune and Dijon are worth a visit and the nearby Couches with a lovely château has a delicious Patisserie / Boulangerie. We took the train from Chagny to Beaune to visit the Hospice and enjoyed a wine tasting. There are lots of vineyards to visit and taste at, we wished we'd organised some tours before we arrived as the owners can advise on this. You will not be disappointed booking this house, we have stayed in many houses in France over the last 30 years and this is undoubtedly the loveliest. We hope to return.

On arrival at the Loft du Vigneron what a wonderful welcome we received, then only to find a delightfully designed, comfortable and well thought out accommodation. Thank you for being such great hosts. We are in awe of what you have achieved so far and wish you every success in completing this wonderful restoration and adventure in a beautiful part of France.
Absolutely stunning. We visited the house last summer and had an absolutely amazing time. The house is stunning with views over to Grasse and down toward Cannes. As a family of 5 (children 8, 5 and 12 months), it had everything we needed including a god sized pool and the interiors of the house are beautiful. It is a short drive to the local supermarket and amenities and only 20 minutes drive to the beaches of Cannes and Antibes. Nearby Mougins and Grasse provide an abundance of restaurants. A car is a must as the house is accessed up a steep road but views are spectacular. We can't wait to visit again this summer.
The house / Loft is absolutely DIVINE - the whole family could actually live here! We've had a fantastic time in the pool swimming. Mack and Mabel are SOOOOO cute. We're going to miss France and especially the house and garden along with the four of you. I hope that other people choose to stay here and that you have a lifetime of happiness because a couple like you deserve a round of applause and a trophy!
Une location qui tient ses promesses : le lieu est charmant, la maison agréable et propre, l'équipement très complet, la piscine avec vue sur la Dordogne formidable. Nous avons reçu un très bon accueil et particulièrement apprécié le panier de bienvenue. La situation géographique est idéale pour rayonner de Sarlat à Bergerac et parcourir la vallée de la Dordogne est ses magnifiques châteaux, bastides et vignobles. Votre maison nous a vraiment beaucoup plu (rien ne nous a déçu) et nous garderons un excellent souvenir de ce séjour. M. Noble nous a réservé un très bon accueil et a toujours été très disponible et serviable pendant ces deux semaines. Le cadre, la déco et l'équipement en font un lieu de séjour particulièrement appréciable.
We were looking for a relaxed holiday and certainly found it at your beautiful house. We have not travelled too far but enjoyed visits to Nîmes and several to the pretty town of Uzes returning late afternoon to relax on the terrace and enjoy the beautiful views. We would thoroughly recommend and hope to revisit in the future. We appreciated the quality and care taken to equip and renovate the house.
Nous avons passé un moment des plus merveilleux à la Maison de Saint-Jean. La maison était charmante, il y avait tout ce dont nous avions besoin et Rosetta [la gouvernante] était très serviable et accueillante. Tu as tellement de chance de l'avoir !
Quel merveilleux séjour ! Mark et Gary ont créé le parfait havre de paix… le souci du détail, tant à l'intérieur qu'à l'extérieur, est incroyable. La décoration et les œuvres d'art du gîte sont magnifiques, et l'espace piscine, entouré de nature et accompagné de chants d'oiseaux, est si reposant et paisible. Dès votre arrivée, vous vous sentirez choyés grâce au luxueux panier de bienvenue, au cocktail d'accueil et aux savons et crèmes hydratantes artisanaux locaux disponibles au gîte. Nous recommandons vivement et nous reviendrons !
An incredible place to disconnect! The hosts treated us very well and took care very well that we did not lack anything. The house is very comfortable and beautiful, fully equipped and with very comfortable beds. All the rooms are comfortable and beautiful. You can tell that they have thought of everything and that they take care of the details with affection. We leave delighted and in love with the region and the environment that surrounds this dream house.
