L'appartement est incroyablement frais et offre une vue imprenable depuis le grand balcon. Le quartier est calme et paisible, ce qui nous convenait très bien. Nous y retournerons certainement. Il est bon de savoir qu'il n'y a pas d’épicerie à proximité immédiate. Il est recommandé d’avoir une voiture si vous ne choisissez pas de faire votre exercice quotidien en lien avec vos achats. :)

We are all having the most idyllic time here in your beautiful home - it is just perfect and so beautifully and tastefully presented - the weather is incredible and the pool in full use - we have visited Ilsle sur la Sourgue, Châteauneuf du Pap and the surrounding villages which are all charming - so all very well!
Had a wonderful week with friends in the magnificent Château Velouse. A lovely place to relax (by the heated swimming pool, in the sumptuous rooms and the very well appointed kitchen - not to mention strolling round the extensive grounds!). Hosts Phil and Claire could not have been more welcoming and have provided copious notes about things to do and places to see. Such was the relaxed atmosphere (and the heat!) we hardly felt the need to leave the château. Our suite was so grand, that it was even hard to leave the bedroom!
Villa comfortable and well equipped - teenagers enjoyed all the facilities including lovely pool.
We have all had an amazing 3 weeks stay in your beautiful house. Our grand children have all learned to swim in the pool and we have all enjoyed our days out in this lovely part of France. We can't thank you enough for giving us everything we could wish for in a holiday home - you have thought of every home comfort. We will be recommending this as the best place to stay for all.
We have recently returned from our wonderful trip to Dordogne which we thoroughly enjoyed. Sia and Paul were excellent hosts and made us feel very welcome. Maison Montratier was a beautiful place to stay when visiting this wonderful part of the world. We would highly recommend this home and area to our family and friends.
Quel merveilleux séjour, belle maison, jardin et piscine si près de la ville de Sarlat. Les magasins locaux sont excellents, je recommande le martini du Café Le Gambella juste en bas de la route sur le côté droit. Les bouchers sont excellents, ils ont cuisiné de délicieux repas avec leurs produits. Le marché de Sarlat est idéal pour les légumes et le fromage. Essayez la visite à pied de Sarlat, passez à l'office de tourisme pour récupérer un plan, cela vaut vraiment la peine car vous vous aventurerez dans des ruelles cachées et découvrirez l'histoire de Sarlat. Merci Jackie et Geoff pour l'utilisation de votre belle maison et pour nous avoir donné de merveilleux souvenirs. Nous espérons revenir.
Such a lovely peaceful and quiet place in Gers. Thank you for a warm welcome. We thoroughly enjoyed the house, the pool, the beautiful views across the countryside. The house is very well equipped and we found some great restaurants and good supermarket shopping in Fleurance, Lectoure and slightly further afield. A great week!

Very nice stay in a beautiful house. The unit is ideally located by the Canal du Midi. There are many activities to do in the area (hikes, water sports, tastings, ...). The hosts are lovely and available. We particularly appreciated the many recommendations for discovering the region. The accommodation is well decorated, spacious and well-equipped. The pool is large and not overlooked. The bedding is also nice. A big plus is the number of bathrooms that makes it easy for a large group to get organized. We had a great time in a fantastic setting with a rare value for money. We'll be happy to go back! Thanks again!

Merveilleux séjour dans une belle maison. La maison était très confortable et la piscine était super. Nous avons passé du temps dans les villes/villages voisins. Pézenas, Vias, Béziers et le Cap d'Agde. Le marché du dimanche matin à Besson est incontournable. La région est idéale pour faire du vélo avec tous les villages voisins facilement accessibles. Très tristes de partir. Merci beaucoup.
Better than it looks in the photos. We are a fussy family from Guildford - this villa ticked all our boxes and more. Comfy beds always a must. Seillans is a picture postcard village. Back soon...

An absolute treasure of a place to stay with attentive hosts making sure our trip was comfortable and stress free. It's a home from home with the added delight of the sun, relaxing pool and sitting out of an evening with friends and wine. Quelle semaine formidable à la villa ! La piscine était fabuleuse – de très bonne taille et profondeur. La villa donnait vraiment l’impression d’un chez-soi, avec tout ce qu’il fallait. Nous recommandons une balade à vélo jusqu’à Capestang – le déjeuner de pizza et salade y était excellent. Que dire de Philippe ? Il a été accueillant, attentif, à l’écoute, mais en même temps presque invisible ! Un grand merci pour avoir organisé le fauteuil pour maman. Une simple demande d’information sur la location d’un fauteuil roulant s’est transformée en livraison d’un fauteuil pour toute la semaine. Que demander de plus ?!

Domaine du Château is the most beautiful and well equipped house ever. Better in the flesh than the photographs suggest. We stayed as a group of 11 extended family members and a couple of babies. Largely because of babies and children, we wanted a place with a pool where kids could be when adults were doing other things. Domaine du Château was perfect for this. The owners, have a history of taking groups to rental houses around Europe. They took notes and used them in renovating this property, resulting in attention to detail that makes everything work for a large group. I cannot think of a single thing that was lacking in making the house work for us. There is an exceedingly well equipped cook's kitchen. Every bedroom was beautiful with en suite bathrooms. They have cribs and the ability to turn the bedrooms (or at least some of them) from queen beds to twins. The bedrooms are arranged in pairs with good separation from other pairs of bedrooms. All are well away from public rooms where there might be noise. There are even two pairs of washers and dryers, so no queue for doing laundry. There are multiple outdoor terrace areas and a stunning view from the salon terrace over the pool to the hillside village beyond. The house is about 40 minutes from Beaune in a beautiful rural area. It is a great cycling area. The Voie Verte that runs from Santenay to Nolay might be the most scenic ride in Burgjndy. Once you get on it, you are completely separate from cars and riding on the level through stunning vineyards all the way. The house is also close to the Canal du Centre which is another great biking opportunity along the old towpath. Beware that the house is uphill from both, so the return may be a bit challenging for some riders. We rented bicycles from Bourgogne Randonées in Beaune. They were delivered to the house and were in mint condition. Must not forget Stephen and Lilly, the house managers. They live in a separate area of the property. They are a delightful couple with an enviable history of adventurous living. They were completely unobtrusive, but there to meet any need we might have, including doing the shopping for us one day. On the subject of shopping, do not miss the Sunday morning market in Chagny. There are dozens of vendors with beautiful local produce, cheese and meat, as good as can be found anywhere.

Merci pour votre hospitalité. Nous avons vraiment apprécié les petits déjeuners, le vin et le fromage. Le repas au Pourquoi Pas était incroyable même si nous avons vécu une aventure pour le trouver ! Beau temps dans la première moitié de la semaine mais dommage que nous ayons eu du vent et de la pluie ces derniers jours. Bon repas à la Pizzeria La Cremade à Béziers Villeneuve - à côté d'une écluse sur le Canal du Midi. Les Neuf Écluses valent également la peine d'être visitées. J'ai apprécié la plage de Sérignan. Merci Beaucoup. Merci pour le petit vélo.
Nous avons passé un moment fabuleux à la Villa Baleyssagues. La maison elle-même est magnifique, tout comme présentée mais en réalité bien meilleure et elle même dépassé nos attentes. Nous avons passé de belles journées au bord et dans la piscine, nous avons eu beau temps, profitant pleinement des équipements et des installations dont nous disposions à la Villa. Les environs et les jardins sont magnifiques, nous offrant un séjour relaxant et paisible. Nous sommes très tristes de partir après des vacances mémorables et agréables. Nous chercherons certainement à réserver nos prochaines vacances ici dès que possible.
Nous avons séjourné dans la belle Maison des Cordeliers à Sarlat en juillet 2024. Que dire ? Une propriété parfaite dans un endroit parfait au sein d'une ville magnifique. La piscine et l'espace extérieur sont tout simplement charmants, incroyablement privés mais à seulement cinq minutes à pied du cœur de l'action. Très paisible et bien équipé. La propriétaire Jackie est très serviable avec des réponses rapides à toutes les questions et offrant toute l'assistance supplémentaire nécessaire concernant la région et les recommandations. La villa elle-même est équipée de manière très réfléchie tout en conservant une atmosphère française authentique. Dans l'ensemble, nous recommanderions assurément cette villa à 100 % si vous avez la chance de visiter la belle ville de Sarlat.
Wow! What an amazing house in such a wonderful location! We've just come back from spending a week here and I was so sad to leave. The house is incredibly comfortable and beautifullt decorated. You really couldn't ask for a better location - the street is very peaceful (we didn't hear a thing, despite sitting out in the garden until late in the evening, every night) and yet you are in the centre of town within few minutes walk - we loved strolling into the main part of town for an ice cream in the day or a drink at night. Parking is easy; we didn't use the garage in the end despite having two cars between us. The pool is wonderful, especially when its really hot and the decked area and BBQ just make the garden a really relaxing, usable space to enjoy.
