My wife and I have been visiting France for over 20 years and The Loft is the best property we have stayed at. The photographs on the website do not do it justice. Russell and Karen have fitted out The Loft with wonderful taste and all of the bathrooms are top quality including the selection of toiletries left for their guests to use. Their attention to detail is second to none. We received an extensive welcome pack when we arrived at the house and Karen even delivered fresh pastries for breakfast on the Sunday morning from the local Boulangerie. Outside the house there is a beautiful pool and garden but the jewel in the crown is the large sheltered "porch area". This is a half open and half covered space off the front of The Loft where you can choose sun or shade during the day. The BBQ is there along with a big dining table and also sofas for relaxing. It’s a fab place to eat and drink during the day or on an evening with a lovely view of the extensive gardens. Rieux Minervois is a nice little town situated in the middle of the Minervois wine region It has a good Italian restaurant within 2 minutes walk from the house, which Karen kindly booked it for us for the night we arrived. The food was very good. The town is also well placed to visit Carcassonne, Narbonne and several of the coastal towns; we particularly enjoyed Gruissan. It is also surrounded by many other small villages with excellent restaurants if you want enjoy a lazy lunch during your holiday. Karen will even book them for you if you ask. Overall we spent a lovely week in The Languedoc. Thank you Russell and Karen for your hospitality and for going to such lengths to make our holiday so memorable.

Thank you for sharing your wonderful home with us and making us so welcome. We have had an amazing week - so peaceful and quiet with walks through the forest and saoking up the tranquility of the lake, watching the fish jump and the kingfisher dive. We will take away beautiful memories of Colombat.
Fabulous Villa and location We've been coming to the south of France for year and specifically to this area and to Seillans for the last 5 years... and this villa is as good as we have ever stayed. The villa is impeccably kept, extremely comfortable and has the most magnificent views. Everything in the villa is as advertised and works well. The restaurants of Seillans are a short walk away. Although the town itself unfortunately has no boulangerie or patisserie, Fayence is only a 5 minute drive away and has a great one of those, plus a boucherie / charcuterie around the corner, both of which are close to the big Super U supermarket. The terrace and pool are East-facing. We were worried that in the photos it looked like there was little shade provided but with the big awnings for the terrace and a few parasols for the pool, finding shade from the morning sun was not a problem. We love this area for the beautiful mountain villages (seillans, Callian, Tourrettes etc) but the ease of getting around in the largely flat area south of those villages so you can get to Cannes, Grasse and the beaches. Nous avons passé un très bon séjour dans cette super maison. La maison est très bien équipée, et nous sommes très bien accueillis. La maison possède pleins de jeux ( billard, ping-pong, train électrique, cabane...) pour adultes et petits, on ne s'ennuie pas même si le beau temps n'est pas au rdv. Enfin la piscine est grande et chauffée ! Bref, super adresse ! Merci!
La piscine et le jardin sont beaux et bien entretenus. Le salon principal est lumineux et aéré. La buanderie a été très utile. L'endroit est calme et paisible.
Quelle semaine formidable à la villa ! La piscine était fabuleuse – de très bonne taille et profondeur. La villa donnait vraiment l’impression d’un chez-soi, avec tout ce qu’il fallait. Nous recommandons une balade à vélo jusqu’à Capestang – le déjeuner de pizza et salade y était excellent. Que dire de Philippe ? Il a été accueillant, attentif, à l’écoute, mais en même temps presque invisible ! Un grand merci pour avoir organisé le fauteuil pour maman. Une simple demande d’information sur la location d’un fauteuil roulant s’est transformée en livraison d’un fauteuil pour toute la semaine. Que demander de plus ?!
Nous revenons d'une semaine formidable à L'Auzina. Tout s'est parfaitement déroulé. Merci pour votre aide. Nous reviendrons certainement à Cucugnan prochainement.
Des vacances géniales dans cette jolie maison. Nous avons adoré la piscine. La salle de jeux améliorée était incroyable par rapport à notre dernier séjour il y a 7 ans. Trois générations de 71 à 11 ans et nous l'avons tous adorée, nous nous sommes bien amusés toute la semaine.
Thanks for an amazing holiday – just the break that we needed. A lovely property with everything you could need. Make sure you visit the market at L’Isle-sur-la-Sorgue on Sunday morning – the best market by far, but be prepared for the crowds! If you are feeling adventurous, kayaking on the Dordogne was fab, if a long way (1.5 hours). Book through Get Your Guide – very easy. Hope to see Florence again.
We had a lovely stay! The house was completely to our taste, with a magnificent garden and a superb view which allows you to completely disconnect. Everything is available. Tessa who welcomed us was charming. The Mas is even nicer than on the photos. Ideal for a stay with friends or family. We highly recommend.
Nous avons passé une semaine très agréable au Château Grandchamp de Chablis. Le cadre, l'équipement, la piscine, tout est fait pour s'y sentir bien et pour tous! Nous remercions les gardiennes pour leur accueil très sympathique. Nous conseillons fortement ce château, ainsi que la visite et la dégustation des cépages avoisinants

Thank you for sharing your fantastic home with us. Perfect location and layout of the house, with a great outside bathing area to watch the sunsets with a glass of wine. Laprade not to be missed. If you are prepared to drive a little further Issigeac (Noth East of Eymet) worth a visit with a good selection of bars, shops and restaurants. Big thanks to Olivia, always on hand to help. We had a fantastic 2 week stay here, the house and outside space are really lovely and was the perfect setting for our family to spend time together. We explored the area but were always more than happy to return to the house and spend time around the swimming pool relaxing. Thank you
Trois générations de notre famille ont apprécié ce séjour dans la belle maison spacieuse et bien équipée d'Helen avec son beau jardin, sa piscine, son terrain de pétanque, sa cuisine d'été et sa vue sur le château ! Beaucoup d'espace, tant à l'extérieur qu'à l'intérieur, en fonction de la chaleur. Le sous-sol plus frais offre du tennis de table, du matériel de gym et des puzzles, nous en avons profité pendant la chaleur extrême! L'emplacement était idéal pour le canyoning (Héric), le kyaking (Orb), la nage en rivière (Reals), le karting (nr. Laurens), la plongée sous-marine (Montpellier), les cours de peinture (Pouzolles) etc. Grands restaurants et bars locaux (Roujan, Gabian) et petits vins de domaine à découvrir. Le grand Super U de Roujan possède une excellente boulangerie/pâtisserie attenante, ouverte également le dimanche matin. Rien ne manque pour de superbes vacances !
Nous regrettons de ne pas avoir réservé trois semaines ! Nous nous sommes sentis comme chez nous dès notre arrivée chez les adorables Julian et Pascal. La piscine et le jardin sont magnifiques. Nous avons profité de la faune, des écureuils roux, des oiseaux, etc. Nous avons également eu la visite surprise de notre fils Oliver. Nous n'en avions aucune idée. Et la piscine !
Voilà un beau lieu à découvrir. Une irrésistible demeure en parfaite communion avec le paysage et l’environnement des lieux. Calme, charme du lieu, paysage et accueil de Sandie sont et font que le séjour devient magique. Je recommande sans hésiter.
Nous avons passé une très bonne semaine en famille. La maison est bien équipée et la piscine est très bien. Pas de bruit la nuit pour un sommeil impeccable. Restaurant à proximité, boulangerie etc... La mer est à proximité. Nous reviendrons avec grand plaisir.
An exceptionally hot week - the pool was a delightfully refreshing respite from the heat. Highlights were: cycling to Chateau de Gavaudun - fairly hilly route to Salles - we returned the longer way through the woods to the east- a more gentle climb and lovely road back to the cottage. The Marche de Soiree at Salles on Wednesday evening - if you go, take your own plates, cutlery and glasses. We were treated to the local karaoke singers!! A lovely meal in Monflanquin at the Prince Noir, and a midnight swim back at chez nous. Thank you for a fabulous week in this homely house were there is everything you need.
Thank you for being wonderful hosts. It has been a joy to stay at the Loft and to explore a little of the region. Excited to be thinking of returning in the future when the weather is cooler. Our arrival was so welcoming and you provide such a generous hamper for our first night - thank you We particularly enjoyed exploring Rieux with its château, church and watching the wine harvest. We enjoyed the house, pool and garden. We took a private boar charter on the canal. We visited restaurants and enjoyed using the 'running track' around the garden.
We stayed at Maison Sainte-Croix in June last year and I have to say, we had a fantastic holiday. The spacious house is very comfortable and there is plenty of room for everyone. We particularly liked the choice of terraces to enjoy the magnificent views at different times of the day. We had many enjoyable afternoons tasting wine in the various local villages and were glad that we drove rather than flew so that we could take home some of our favourites! We found some very good restaurants in Vaison and the street market is well worth a visit. Many thanks!

We are the first guests ever. We stayed 2 weeks. We were welcomed so kindly and friendly. The hosts you can ask everything. They are very helpful. The house is big but for 12 to 15 people very spacious. We were 3 families. Enough space. Everything is in the house. You don't have to bring anything. Outside the swimming pool is great. The 6 children were very happy. Great garden with tomatoes and figues. Thank you very much! It was excellent / super.
Merci, nous nous sommes bien amusés pendant ces deux semaines au Pigat. Nous avons fait du vélo, couru et exploré la campagne rurale. Nous avons passé des soirées d'été à jouer aux cartes et aux dominos avec nos enfants. Nous avons adoré la piscine et le calme ainsi que de pouvoir manger à l'extérieur. Nous y avons véritablement passé deux semaines mémorables et nous sommes tristes de partir pour retourner au travail et à l'école. Grande maison, emplacement parfait, privé et paisible. Des souvenirs impérissables... On revient...
Que dire si ce n'est que c'était en tout point parfait! Nous organisons tous les ans un long week-end-end en famille et celui-ci est, de loin, celui qui remporte tous les suffrages!
Nous avons passé de merveilleuses vacances, merci ! C'est une si belle partie de la France. Nous avons réalisé que nous avions séjourné dans une maison juste de l'autre côté de Lauzerte il y a environ 7 ans à l'époque avant d'avoir les enfants et quand nous pouvions conduire une décapotable! La maison a été si bien aménagée et l'agencement a très bien fonctionné pour nous en tant que famille. La vue était fabuleuse! Et nous avons adoré avoir l'auberge au coin de la rue. Nous pourrions bien revenir!
Wow, what a great place! During our stay there was nothing else we could have wished for. The awesome pool area, the great BBQ, the comfortable (sun)beds and beautiful bathrooms; everything was top notch. Enjoying the local wines, the pretty surroundings and fantastic golf course with our friends made this stay like it should be... Holiday! We hope to come back!
