We had the most lovely week at La Chartreuse de Montfort for a week in the middle of September. The weather was gorgeous and sunny during the day but slightly autumnal in the morning and evening, so we ate breakfast outside but dinner inside around the lovely dining table with a fire in the amazing wood burner to give that cosy feeling to the sitting room. As a group of 10 friends, the house was lovely and spacious with plenty of room for everyone to eat, sit inside or out or enjoy some quiet time in the little study as they wished. The views from the terrace are extraordinary! Ever changing - amazing sunrises with the mist hanging in the valley and then the meandering Dordogne river below. The pool was lovely, warm and easy to access but rather nice that it was situated on the lower terrace so you could have a peaceful swim. The house itself it completely private yet only 10 minutes away from the supermarket and the lovely medieval town of Sarlat. So much to do in the area that you are spoilt for choice - castles, walking, cycling, canoeing, gardens, caves and ancient dwellings, markets - and plenty of excellent places to eat - highly recommend Ô Moulin in Carsac for an extraordinary culinary experience. To be honest, though, the house is so well equipped and comfortable, eating dinner ‘chez-nous’ was our preferred option, washed down with excellent local Bergerac wines! Was the holiday long enough? Certainly not! Would we go again? Absolutely, can’t wait!
Wonderfully renovated French cottage in a slumbering small village. Beautiful green area. I loved the care that went into the house. Lovely spacious bedrooms, felt like a high end hotel stay. Highly recommended.

Le plus parfait endroit pour des vacances en famille paisibles et réparatrices ! Les enfants comme les adultes se sont amusés à la salle de jeux, les jouets, la superbe piscine... nous avons tellement apprécié la qualité des équipements et la conception bien pensée de la maison que c'en est devenu une blague récurrente: "qu'est-ce que cette maison n'a pas ?!"
If you are looking for calm in a peaceful environment, Le Mas de Combet is for that! it is very well equipped, nothing missing! a huge and well maintained lot with this very friendly view of a small lake and the forest . the terrace with its large pergola is ideal for resting or having a drink . we enjoyed the large swimming pool with its summer kitchen. hosts are exceptionally kind and welcoming . we recommend without hesitation.
We had a wonderful time at Château Grandchamp de Chablis in Burgundy and will certainly be back. All details of both the house and the care of the guests are carefully thought through and attended to and we had the perfect combination of privacy and feeling attended to while there. The property is beautiful and the owners have wonderful taste. The grounds have a myriad of eating spots and activities including swimming pool, tennis, lovely walks and a feeling of privacy. The owners are gracious and eager to be sure you have the resources to make the most of your stay with their long experience and knowledge of the area. A special holiday to experience a French home of this level and explore the extensive area of Burgundy not far from Paris. A rare find indeed!
Very enjoyable, well kitted and at a logged location for a lazy 'by the pool' sort of break. Love the poolhouse area and very nice interior decor. Gary and Louise were most helpful and we had a wonderful relaxing time. Monflanquin was good fun and we enjoyed the day and night markets. Great for all ages.

Nous avons nagé dans la piscine tous les jours (température à 29°c) en janvier ! Nous avons effectivement apprécié les 12 jours passés avec vous, la maison et les environs. Très revigorant pour nous deux, et très agréable de vous rencontrer tous les deux.
La campagne et la vue sont superbes. Complète relaxation et de beaux souvenirs en mémoire de retour à Dublin.
This is a wonderfully quiet place to spend time in provence. Located within walking distance from the many attractions of Saint-Rémy-de-Provence its restaurants and its old town, it is a beautifully appointed home with an inviting swimming pool and check out the new pool shower - delightful. Within easy driving distance are a variety of wineries for your tasting pleasure.
We have just returned from a wonderful 2 week holiday in France. We cannot recommend the property highly enough. It is very well equipped, the pool always warm and cleaned daily, in a great location and Jean, Martin and of course Tanner the dog so welcoming and helpful. This was our second time and already planning when we can return!
A great week where 3 generations could spend time together relaxing around the comfortable farmhouse, great pool and expansive gardens. The house was very well equipped and being mostly fortunate with the weather, we ate outside on the terraces making full use of the BBQ provided. Monpazier is delightful and Villereal has a wonderfully colourful market. We thoroughly recommend this property as a holiday choice.
Des vacances absolument merveilleuses. Nous avons passé un séjour vraiment fabuleux de 12 nuits au Château Limousin. Nous étions 3 familles composées de 6 adultes et 8 enfants (de 3 à 9 ans). Le château et son terrain, y compris la grande piscine clôturée, sont extrêmement bien entretenus et offrent tout ce que vous pourriez souhaiter. Les propriétaires étaient des gens très gentils et extrêmement accueillants. Des vacances vraiment agréables... nous recommandons vivement.

Stunning, really well maintained and clean. Feels very safe for our young family. Very well-thought-through facilities for an inter-generational group. Great use of pool, playroom, BBQ, dining areas. Delicious and varied menu enjoyed by all. Good interaction with hosts; always available (even with chocolates!). Thoroughly enjoyed the trip and hope to return.
La maison est magnifique. Le mobilier et la décoration vintage mélangés à des touches plus modernes nous ont immédiatement mis à l'aise ! Nous avons également beaucoup apprécié la piscine ! Et l'emplacement était également parfait. Pouvoir voir les bateaux sur le Canal du Midi depuis le salon rend la maison encore plus cosy et étonnante. Nous reviendrons certainement bientôt ! Merci.
Villa avec vue indiscutable. Tous le nécessaires pour cuisiner. Piscine au top, un éclairage autour de celle-ci pour le soir, serait la cerise sur le gâteau. Vue sublime. Propriétaire très réactive et organisation d'arrivée et de départ au top. Village au calme et typique.

Merci pour ce agréable séjour au Mas des Rivailles. Notre famille de cinq personnes y a séjourné pendant deux semaines en août 2023 et nous avons passé un très bon moment. Il est très spacieux et moderne, avec toutes les commodités nécessaires pour un séjour confortable. La température de la piscine était parfaite et nous avons trouvé l'eau salée assez agréable. Les transats et l'aménagement de la piscine permettent des moments de détente au bord de la piscine et nous avons apprécié particulièrement la très grande salle de jeux avec table de ping-pong, billard et baby-foot ainsi que de nombreux jouets pour nos trois enfants. Les chambres étaient propres et équipées de draps de qualité et de serviettes moelleuses ainsi que d'un espace de rangement suffisant pour nos affaires. La buanderie/cellier était également très utile pour stocker de la nourriture et laver nos vêtements facilement. Frédéric était serviable et attentif comme toujours et a rendu notre séjour très confortable, faisant venir des ventilateurs supplémentaires lorsque nous en avons fait la demande, car notre séjour coïncidait avec une vague de chaleur. La famille du propriétaire qui vit dans la ferme voisine était très sympathique et serviable et a répondu à tous nos problèmes. L'emplacement de la maison est également idéal pour explorer la région avec de nombreuses villes et activités intéressantes à quelques minutes en voiture. Nous le recommanderons certainement ! Thank you for a wonderful stay In your fabulous house, we spent a week exploring the town, fabulous Sunday market in Nyons, also held on a Thursday. We hired bikes @ E20 per day and played tennis and paddle in Nyons (booked online) we swam in the river nearby, The vineyards around the house are farmed by Domaine Tave, there Audrey La Tarde speaks English and is the real deal. We ran out of time to do all we wanted, ‘we will be back ‘.
Many thanks for arranging our rental of Le Chambarru in Blauzac, it is a tremendous house and we had a very good holiday with our friends from the USA. We enjoyed meeting the owners.
Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans cette demeure historique, ancienne orangerie du château bâtie sur les remparts du XIVeme siècle. En plus du charme de la maison, celle ci est très bien organisée autour de différents espaces qui multiplient la diversité des expériences. Que ce soit en famille ou entre amis, chacun a son espace tout en offrant beaucoup de convivialité. La maison est très bien équipée, du Ping Pong à la raclette en passant par une cuisine avec beaucoup d électroménager. La literie est remarquable. Enfin l endroit est à la fois un havre de paix et sa proximité directe avec le village et ses nombreuses activités estivales en font un endroit unique.
