Excellent séjour de vacances, villa magnifique, piscine spacieuse, temps fantastique. Lisbeth, une hôte très serviable, rien de trop problématique, toujours contactée par téléphone, (pour confirmer le départ). Bessan joli village, toutes commodités ici et proche des plages, Pézenas et Béziers. Merci Lisbeth pour 2 semaines de vacances reposantes.
Merci pour cette semaine délicieuse dans un cottage vraiment charmant. Même si le soleil s'est fait un peu attendre, le cachet de la maison a largement compensé. Les deux restaurants du village sont excellents ! (Pensez à prendre une lampe de poche si vous rentrez après dîner !). Sarlat vaut vraiment le détour le mercredi (jour de marché). Saint-Léon est un joli village avec un grand choix de restaurants. Lascaux IV est intéressant et bien présenté. Un grand merci à Caterina et Steve !
At La Picholine, we felt like God in France as usual. From the sunny terrace, with a glass of wine in hand, a cheese nearby, we enjoyed the vines in the valley below us in ‘deafening’ silence, watched the olives come out of the blossom and listened to the cheerful twittering of the birds. The flat of the ever friendly and helpful hosts Esther and Leonard is furnished with taste. A touch of nostalgia with the look of today. The kitchen is fully equipped, the bathroom is comfortable. Everything not only looks new, but is new. From the first moment, we felt at home here. The nearby forests invite you to go for a nice walk. By the way, you can walk everywhere in the area. Tip: the route along the medieval village of La Roque-sur-Ceze with the waterfalls nearby. In the village of Tresques, near Domaine Cadignac, we imagined ourselves in the France of old. A medieval tower with an exhibition of contemporary art, a bakery and grocery shop, a water spring where the villagers tap their daily drinking water and a good winemaker. Where do you still find these villages? The residence is conveniently located for visiting larger cities. Half an hour’s drive and you are in Orange with memories of the Dutch royal house or in the papal city of Avignon, where you can browse in one of those real French bric-a-brac markets in a suburb every Saturday morning. Or you can walk around Nîmes Collesseum after an hour’s drive and have visited the impressive aqueduct built by Romans on the way there. The ancient city centre of Nîmes and of historic Avignon are also an eldorado for funshoppers. In short, the fully equipped and rustic L'Oliveraie was an ideal base for us to (re)discover French nature and culture. We will definitely come back here again!

Une merveilleuse semaine ! La Maison Estephe était absolument exceptionnelle, tout ce que nous aurions pu souhaiter. Charmant petit village, pain frais et croissants de la petite boulangerie tous les matins, le temps était magnifique, beaucoup d'explorations, avons dégusté du vin et découvert le magnifique port de Mèze. Une semaine exceptionnelle. Nous devrons regarder les dates disponibles pour l'année prochaine lorsque je connaîtrai les dates de mes prochaines vacances.
Nous avons passé un moment fabuleux à la Villa Baleyssagues. La maison elle-même est magnifique, tout comme présentée mais en réalité bien meilleure et elle même dépassé nos attentes. Nous avons passé de belles journées au bord et dans la piscine, nous avons eu beau temps, profitant pleinement des équipements et des installations dont nous disposions à la Villa. Les environs et les jardins sont magnifiques, nous offrant un séjour relaxant et paisible. Nous sommes très tristes de partir après des vacances mémorables et agréables. Nous chercherons certainement à réserver nos prochaines vacances ici dès que possible.

What a wonderful, characterful holiday home you have created. Comfortable, modern where necessary but full of historical character. And lovely to have the space all around. Just the tonic we needed after months of "lockdown". Thank you!
La Maison Lanave est une charmante ferme gasconne bien rénovée, nichée au cœur des vignes et offrant une vue spectaculaire. Les photos et les descriptions sont fidèles à la réalité : c'est un lieu vraiment exceptionnel. Les hôtes sont proactifs et sympathiques, présents sur place sans être intrusifs. Ils sont très disponibles pour répondre à nos demandes et nous fournir de nombreuses informations locales utiles. La région est rurale et offre beaucoup de choses à voir et à faire. Nous recommandons vivement d'y séjourner.
An amazing house with the best swimming pool we have ever seen! 16 of us stayed in this lovely house for 2 weeks as we took the little gîte as well. We had a fabulous holiday. You have to drive up through fields of sunflowers to get there – a great welcome. We had loads of children but the pool is so big they spent the whole time doing acrobatics in it – and there was still room for us adults, when we managed to peel ourselves off the sun loungers. Evenings were spent playing tennis on the courts in the house grounds, BBQs, or local restaurants.
La Loire! Quel patrimoine impressionnant. Châteaux, abbayes, grottes - et la maison Michel est à portée de tous ces sites. Bourgueil est une ville charmante avec des plats délicieux et des vins exceptionnels. Chaque soir, nous avons apprécié la piscine. Merci Michel pour cette semaine exceptionnelle.
Une très belle maison et propriété. Les hôtes sont très accueillants et serviables et sont britanniques donc ils parlent à la fois français et anglais, ce qui est un plus. Puisque la maison d'hôtes est située sur le côté de la maison principale, vous aurez également de l'intimité quand vous le souhaitez. La maison d'hôtes est merveilleusement décorée dans un style typiquement français/britannique. Une grande cuisine, une grande chambre avec lit très confortable et une salle de bains moderne avec baignoire et douche. Vous avez votre propre terrasse où vous pourrez commencer la journée avec le petit déjeuner et une vue imprenable sur le jardin et les chevaux :) L'hôte nous a donné des conseils et nous a également fait venir dans la forêt où nous avons eu un plafond de nuit. Ils nous ont aidés à trouver un concert et nous ont également prêté leur barbecue et nous ont laissé utiliser le lave-linge. Nous recommandons vivement et serions ravis de revenir. Merci
The property was absolutely wonderful and the hosts were incredibly kind and welcoming. I would recommend staying there to anyone. I will definitely be back to stay there again.
Quelle magnifique villa, décorée avec goût. La piscine est parfaite après une chaude journée. Philippe était aux petits soins : impossible de rêver meilleur hôte.
J'ai passé des moments incroyables avec mes amis dans ce magnifique château ! Le parc est absolument époustouflant, comme dans un film. Le château lui-même est enchanteur tout en étant très confortable. Nous avons passé un excellent moment à découvrir les villes et les marchés locaux. Une expérience vraiment merveilleuse, je le recommande vivement !
Une si belle maison! Nous avons profité d'un séjour reposant. Nous avons visité Sarlat, Bergerac et Périgueux. Nous vous conseillons le marché du dimanche matin à Aubeterre. Les sons de la campagne au réveil vont nous manquer.
Nous étions un groupe de neuf amis et avons passé 4 nuits dans cette magnifique maison. Je ne sais pas par où commencer, tout était parfait : la piscine, la vue, le mobilier, les lits confortables... c'est le paradis sur terre. Sandie et son mari sont des gens très adorables et des hôtes extraordinaires. Je recommande de réserver l'option restauration : la nourriture est excellente et le gâteau au fondant au chocolat est à tomber par terre. Nous reviendrons certainement.
Nous avons passé un séjour des plus relaxants et merveilleux dans cette propriété. Julian et Pascal nous ont très bien accueillis, nous ont laissé toute l'intimité nécessaire et étaient disponibles en cas de problème. La maison est charmante et calme, avec un magnifique verger et probablement l'une des plus belles piscines que nous ayons jamais eues ! L'un des moments forts a été d'observer les chauves-souris sortir la nuit. Nous aimerions y retourner un jour.
Amazing holiday location! Great views of a peaceful quaint little village in south of France, and don't even need to get out of the pool. Everything you need is provided by the host, excellent quality of service for the price. Great variety of excursions possible in the area, be it sporty, cultural or plain shopping and farniente! Looking forward to coming back again as soon as possible!!!

La propriété est incroyable et Christophe et son épouse sont d'excellents hôtes. Sa communication avec nous a été excellente et ils ont été très accueillants et heureux de fournir des informations sur ce qu'il faut faire localement. Nous avons passé une excellente semaine et espérons y retourner à l'avenir. La maison est exactement comme indiqué sur les photos, est très propre et dispose d'une cuisine très bien équipée. Chaque chambre ayant sa propre salle de bain est un luxe. Nous avons séjourné en famille élargie et je recommande vivement cette propriété.
Merci pour ces belles vacances dans votre belle maison. La piscine était parfaite tout comme le temps, nous en avons donc pleinement profité. Le coin barbecue était super aussi et le nouveau réfrigérateur-congélateur avec machine à glaçons était super. La région de Besson était parfaite à explorer sur nos vélos. Il y a encore tellement de choses à voir, donc je suis sûr que nous reviendrons.
Best villa in 15 years of visiting France. Pool was wonderful and essential for cooling off when the temperatures exceeded 30 degrees. Super area for cycling and hiking. Best meal was at L'Aspargus (Valros) - well worth the drive. Best meals in Pézenas at Les Marronniers.
Une excellente semaine en famille avec des petits (2, 5, 9 ans) et des grands qui ont bien profité de la piscine, des jeux, ping pong, volley... du barbecue et des nombreuses possibilités qu’offre la maison pour déjeuner, dîner, se reposer. Les villages autour organisent des marches en soirée où l’on peut rencontrer des producteurs et goûter aux spécialités locales (foie gras, magrets, vins...) De nombreux châteaux à visiter, et ballade en canoë sur la Dordogne. Un bon séjour dans une belle région.
Thank-you, Jean and Martin, for a fabulous two week stay in your lovely gîte. We had everything we needed to make it a very special relaxing holiday. The outdoor BBQ area has been put to great use! We have enjoyed many evenings outside drinking and eating. It was great having your input for ideas and suggestions for things to do and places to visit. The pool is perfect and we have enjoyed using the lovely gazebo area. The garden is a beautiful retreat in which to fully unwind and enjoy the abundant birdlife, especially first thing in the morning. We have really enjoyed watching the wood pecker, especially gathering food for the offspring! Lauzun provided the perfect location to start our many heavenly bike rides and to explore the fascinating bastide towns of Issigeac, Villereal and Eymet. We also visited the prehistoric cave-Grotte de Font Gaume and highly recommend, (pre-book tickets online). We look forward to coming back soon and seeing you again.
We spent 10 days with 8 people (children, grandchildren ) and our dog in À Côté de L'O. The summer heat was well tolerated thanks to the pool and air conditioning. The space is even more generous than it appears on the photos. A huge fenced garden right on the Canal. Narbonne, Gruissan, Bages... many beautiful experiences are easy to reach by car. The location in beautiful Le Somail. The early morning round for dog bathing at the Cesse. Shopping fresh croissants and baguettes on the Épicerie - boat. All in all : perfect!
Wonderful week in a great villa. Kids loved the pool and Pézenas is a lovely little town.
We stayed here during early August. The property is out in the countryside and provided a very welcome quite location for a relaxing vacation. The property has character, built in traditional stone and has extensive grounds to explore. There is a wonderful view of the Château de Biron from the front of the property. The château is well worth a visit and if you climb to the top you can pick out the property in the distance. The pool is fantastic and we spent many hours by and in the pool. We had great fun playing water volleyball. The house has all amenities that you want, although the Wi-Fi can be slow, but this has to be expected out in the country as I explained to my children! If staying here in the summer, take a walk just before sunset, out the drive and turn left. Just down the road you will catch some great sunsets and you are likely to see lots of deer at the same time. Visit Monpazier a few miles away. It's a great place to find a restaurant and wonder around this beautiful bastide town.
