We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Orchard Farmhouse and would have no problem recommending this beautiful house to friends and family. We liked eating on the terrace admiring the spectacular view of the Dordogne landscape. Great facilities for the children, especially in the games room. Close proximity to many delightful places of interest. Thank you, au revoir.
Notre 60e anniversaire de mariage, réunissant un clan de 3 générations ... et ... Richard et Gay nous ont royalement reçus dans leur «nouvelle» maison. Comment peuvent-ils supporter de quitter Le Malardier? ... Le grand avantage était l'absence quasi totale de guêpes et de mouches. À bientôt pour le 65e!
Nous avons passé un très bon séjour dans cette maison et la recommandons fortement aux autres voyageurs pour un week end ou plus !
We wanted to find a location that provided peace and tranquillity and allow us all to pause for a while. We sought comfort, privacy and nature and found it all and more at La Metairie de Mespoule. We have just spent two wonderful weeks in late July and early August under the life giving sun of South Western France. We explored the beautiful villages, we ate in a raft of superb restaurants and we came back each day to the enjoy the tranquillity offered by the Metairie. The accommodation is perfect for a family holiday, the kitchen / living area is perfectly appointed and the outside terrace much used by us all. The naturally heated pool is an inspired choice and proved to be very popular with us all as did the BBQ area, the table tennis and an evening game of pétanque on the gravelled driveway. Catherine and Jono are perfect hosts offering as much or as little support and guidance as required – we opted for a private wine tour which was fabulous. We give the strongest of recommendations for anyone looking for a perfectly relaxing holiday.

Tout est prévu, vous avez fourni tout ce dont nous avions besoin... et bien plus encore ! Nous avons passé 95% de nos vacances au bord de la piscine, l'espace extérieur est tellement relaxant. We stayed for one week and we cannot wait to go again. When we arrived we were surprised how spacious and homely the villa was and it has amazing views. It is wonderfully located about 5- 10 minutes walk from the centre of Callas which is a typical Provençal village. We really enjoyed walking there every morning to buys our bread and croissants for breakfast. There are also some very good restaurants in Callas. The pool is lovely and we even swam every day in May. We ate in the garden and it is wonderfully quiet and tranquil. The region is full of breathtaking views and there is loads to see and do. We went to the Gorge du Verdon (Europe's Grand Canyon) and the beach at Saint Raphael and Juan les Pins. We had a really brill holiday and hope to return.

It was amazing. The house was beautiful and the pool was really nice. All of my family loved it and we all want to come back next summer.
Stunning, really well maintained and clean. Feels very safe for our young family. Very well-thought-through facilities for an inter-generational group. Great use of pool, playroom, BBQ, dining areas. Delicious and varied menu enjoyed by all. Good interaction with hosts; always available (even with chocolates!). Thoroughly enjoyed the trip and hope to return.
Kim et Christian, avec leur famille sont des hosts fantastiques! Toujours disponibles et au petit soin. La maison et conforme aux photos et idéal pour s’y retirer en famille. Nous avons passé une semaine inoubliable et y avons vécu des moments à jamais gravés dans nos mémoires. J’y retournerai avec grand plaisir et recommande chaudement la propriété.
Really brilliant week at Mas Saint-Cernin. We have loved the houses, garden, pool, views, sun-rises and sunsets, birds, red squirrels etc etc. The local towns are so pretty and the fantastic markets provided most of our food. Lots of coffee stops. Found it easy to do boulangerie trip. Intermarche just outside Castillonnes was an easy supermarket shop (done on Tuesday after visiting the great market where we got large boxes of peaches, apricots and haricot vert for 5 Euros. Great wine tasting at Les Verdots - wish we had gone there earlier for our wine. La Brucellerie great for a meal. Bikes hired from Bergerac cycle hire, google Apolo cycles. Best to book in advance but really helpful man there. Huge thanks to John and Lesley for providing such wonderful accommodation (they have thought of everything) and for being so warm and helpful all week. We have appreciated your many kindnesses. Hope to return soon.

Comfortable. Well equipped château. Spacious. Well tended grounds. Stunning pool area, very inviting! All really good. Comfortable sitting area. Well organised roomy playroom being a real bonus. Kitchen well equipped for cooking. Helpful at all times and unobtrusive. Huge bonus having the daily housekeeping service as well as shopping service. Really this is one of the best family holidays we have had. Everything designed to make one's stay very comfortable and enjoyable. Thank you. It has been a pleasure to be guests in your home.
Very nice accommodation. Host is very friendly. Maison Joigneaux is a perfect place to stay when visiting the region. We couldn't have wished for a better place to spend our extended weekend with friends.
We enjoyed a peaceful holiday. We visited Carcassonne, Minerve, Caunes-Minervois, Olonzac market, Cascade de Mauroul and the Tropical Butterfly Garden near Perpignan. We loved driving the small country roads, seeing the vineyards, the windmill and the marble in Caunes-Minervois. The weather was great for hiking, although sometimes very windy. The pool was a little too cold to swim every day. We loved the house and its terraces—we really felt at home. Thank you!
Merci beaucoup de nous avoir accueillis dans cet endroit très spécial. Nous avons absolument, complètement et totalement adoré être ici. La maison est si belle et fraîche et le jardin est absolument incroyable. Nous nous sentons tellement chanceux d'avoir pu venir nous reposer ici. Nous aimerions certainement revenir.
Une semaine merveilleuse à la Maison Baleyssagues. La maison est extrêmement bien aménagée et équipée. Nous avons apprécié cuisiner et avons essayé tous les espaces repas à l'intérieur comme à l'extérieur. Certains membres de notre groupe ont même nagé dans la piscine, même si la saison était terminée. Nous avons également apprécié les promenades dans la campagne environnante et trois superbes excursions d'une journée. Nous recommandons vivement La Table de Catusseau - imaginative et exquise. Beautiful house, view and garden with high trees and flowers in a quiet area. Nice shaded lounge area with comfortable sofas for 8 people. We all loved this house even if it’s far away from bakery and shopping.

Fantastic 10 days at Maison Joutard. The highlights:- Fantastic welcome pack. House and garden perfect for our toddlers. Equipped with everything we needed. We visited Cognac, Bordeaux, Villefagnan. Cycling to the bakery in Verdille. Whole experience highly recommended.

La Maison Lanave est une charmante ferme gasconne bien rénovée, nichée au cœur des vignes et offrant une vue spectaculaire. Les photos et les descriptions sont fidèles à la réalité : c'est un lieu vraiment exceptionnel. Les hôtes sont proactifs et sympathiques, présents sur place sans être intrusifs. Ils sont très disponibles pour répondre à nos demandes et nous fournir de nombreuses informations locales utiles. La région est rurale et offre beaucoup de choses à voir et à faire. Nous recommandons vivement d'y séjourner.
