We have enjoyed two wonderful week here with cloudless skies and beautiful evenings. Amongst our favourite outings were nearby Villedieu, a beautiful spot for a lunchtime stop at the cafe du centre or the exceptional bistro de Villedieu, we also visited Gigondas with its magical views and charming square, Vaison la romaine is a stunning town especially the old part. We also enjoyed wondering around Nyons following the route through the spectacular medieval arches, chapel and church.
Absolutely gorgeous house. Périgueux and Saint-Émilion were both charming - wonderful food, too. Weather has been idyllic and the swimming pool and loungers were a perfect way to relax. We will greatly miss this house and take with us very happy memories of our holiday here.
We spent a beautiful 2 weeks here! We felt at home in this fabulous house. La Baie du Lac was a real favourite. We really hope to return.
Great place to stay and perfect for the three families we had on our trip. The children loved the pool and boules court and the adults loved sitting on the patio with a glass of rosé watching the sun set. Look forward to coming back.
Nous rentrons tout juste d'un séjour merveilleux à la « Maison Lemance ». Nous étions un groupe intergénérationnel de huit personnes et la maison était parfaitement adaptée à nos besoins, offrant divers espaces de détente, aussi bien à l'intérieur qu'à l'extérieur. C'est une maison magnifiquement entretenue, située dans un cadre paisible et disposant de tout le nécessaire pour notre séjour. La piscine était d'une propreté impeccable et équipée de nombreux transats pour se détendre. La propriétaire, Sam, s'est montrée extrêmement accueillante et disponible pour répondre à toutes nos questions. Notre seul regret est de ne pas avoir eu l'occasion de participer à l'un de ses cours de yoga.
Nous avons passé une très bonne semaine au Le Manoir de la Compagnie. La propriété est très au calme, dans un beau site (grand jardin, beaux arbres...). Elle est très bien équipée : literie top, draps/serviettes/torchons fournis ainsi que gel de douche et shampoing, cuisine grande et bien équipée, tout est bien calibré pour un groupe de 12 adultes. Les pièces sont grandes et bien décorées. Les propriétaires sont charmants, disponibles sans être intrusifs, et ont une histoire familiale qu'il est intéressant de découvrir. Bref, je recommande tout à fait cette location
We enjoyed a fantastic 2 weeks in this lovely house. The pool was very popular (due to the August heatwave - most days were 30 - 33 degrees). It was nice to be given a guided tour of the property by Yvonne and be welcomed with flowers and wine. The house has so much character - It would be lovely to learn a little more about its history and former occupants. We loved lots of the al fresco dining and one particularly memorable cheese and wine night in the candlelit wine cellar! Île de Ré, La Rochelle, Cognac, Marais poitevin are all we worth visiting. Make sure you take a look at the stars on a clean night - we spotted a few shooting stars!
Thank you for your warm welcome and kindness. We had an amazing time enjoying your beautiful gîte set in beautiful surroundings. Thank you for all the useful times and recommendations. We had a great time exploring the markets at Bergerac, Riberac, Périgueux and Saint-Astier. We enjoyed the sunshine win the terrace with a glass of wine and a good book. Perfect.

Wonderful family holiday We had a wonderful week staying at Manoir de Saux, spent mostly by or in the beautiful pool or on the tennis court! Occasionally we would tear ourselves away from this idyll to wander through pretty fortified towns, to have a delicious local lunch and to taste wine. We all particularly liked Cahors. The house itself was very comfortable, had everything we needed and the kids couldn't have been happier. Highly recommended!
What can I say but awesome. We all arrived at the same time to drive up the long drive to the picturesque château. Obviously we had seen pictures but they did not do it justice. We were met with a glass of bubbly and were shown around the property. It was like being shown around a personal home rather than a holiday rental property. There was everything you could want for a relaxing holiday for our two families, including a tennis court, swimming pool, snooker / pool table, croquet set and the all important ice machine as we were in the middle of a heat wave. All the rooms were luxurious with all but one bedroom (which had it's own bathroom) having ensuite bathrooms and the two main bedrooms having dressing rooms as well. The grounds were spectacular and there was even gorgeous little chapel. The best endorsement I can give is that we were all discussing how we could come back next year. We have had a wonderful time and would like to thank you both for being such genial hosts. Mas Saint-Cernin is totally beautiful and Issigeac is perfect. There's nothing we would change about our holiday.

Nous avons profité de deux semaines incroyables au soleil, nous avons passé quelques jours au bord de la piscine. Vous pouvez nager et admirer la vue imprenable sur les collines au loin. L'appartement est impeccable et a tout ce dont nous avions besoin au début de nos vacances. Les propriétaires parlent anglais, ce qui est utile si vous avez besoin de quelque chose manquant à la propriété. Nous serions ravis d'y retourner.
One week was not long enough. Fabulous house - didn't want to leave. Visit Pézenas, just wonderful and great shopping.

Très bel séjour à la Palaisienne. La maison est bien équipée, jolie, propre et surtout très adaptée aux enfants, donc que du bonheur pour les parents. La propriétaire est très gentille et disponible pour toute nos questions. Nous n’avons qu’à remercier pour ces belles vacances.

We all had a wonderful holiday and the accommodation suited us so well, we were very lucky with the weather and the pool was perfect, such a great place to relax. We enjoyed eating outside looking at the wonderful views to the Mediterranean.

Nous avons vraiment apprécié les belles vues et la campagne environnante : les couchers de soleil étaient incroyables. Le temps a été très clément avec nous avec des températures qui ont grimpé en flèche, les baignades dans la piscine étaient les bienvenues.

Quelle belle trouvaille : cette magnifique maison et son jardin étaient encore plus splendides que sur les photos. On avait l'impression de séjourner chez des amis au goût sûr, attentionnés et élégants, tout en étant choyés à merveille ! Nous avons adoré notre séjour et avons eu beaucoup de mal à nous résoudre à partir. La région, que nous découvrions, nous a enchantés : les environs sont superbes et ont beaucoup de caractère, tout en permettant d'accéder facilement à des lieux un peu plus éloignés pour les explorer. Eimear et Sian ont été d'une aide précieuse ; nous espérons revenir dès que possible !
Nous avons passé un fantastique séjour dans ce magnifique château. Emplacement fabuleux, maison fabuleuse!
A great time was had by all. We loved this little piece of paradise in Provence! Magnifique! Hope we'll be back again sometime.
We all had an amazing time in this beautiful villa. The location is really convenient and we walked to all the beaches and shops and restaurants. The swimming pool was lots of fun and the views are spectacular.
An absolutely amazing stay – we will return! We had the most wonderful 6-day stay at Petite Maison de Campagne. Set in a peaceful, tranquil location, we woke up each morning to the sights and sounds of cows from the neighbouring farm grazing in the fields – such a lovely view to enjoy while having coffee and breakfast. The pool and sun loungers were exactly what we needed for the hot French summer, and our son loved relaxing in the hammock under the trees. The property itself has been beautifully restored, with everything you could possibly want or need – including Wi-Fi (essential when travelling with two teens!). Our host was fantastic from start to finish. Communication was clear and friendly from the moment we booked, with all the information we needed to find the property and settle in. She even recommended some brilliant places to visit. I had one query during our stay, which she answered promptly and helpfully. The surrounding area offers so much to see and do – we only managed a fraction of it, so we’ll definitely have to come back to explore more. I highly recommend La Maison Nid to anyone looking for a relaxing yet well-equipped place to stay in this beautiful part of France. We loved it and can’t wait to return.
