Went to this beautiful holiday cottage for the second time. What a great experience again this time. We were warmly welcomed and our house felt like coming home again. Host and hostess Leo and Esther gave us great tips so that our holiday became a great experience again. The visit to Nîmes was impressively beautiful. I especially recommend visiting Avignon to everyone with its beautiful center and the cozy terraces around the market square. The swimming pool overlooking the vineyards is a pearl. The silence descends on you wonderfully in the evening. Truly unique. Thank you for another great holiday.

The combination of lovely accommodation, beautiful surroundings and the swimming pool made Piglet Barn a wonderful place to stay. In addition to being an interesting and picturesque village, Vouvant is a great location for the start of circular bike rides and walks. We especially enjoyed the riiverside walk, the Sentier des Rives. The Saturday market in Fontenay provides an enjoyable shopping experience. Many thanks for a great holiday.
We just wanted to thank you for the bottle of local wine and to let you know that we had a very nice time at Villa Corbières last week. Also, it worked well liasing with Ian who was welcoming and very helpful. The house is great and the garden looked really nice.
Excellent home and facilities. Everything exceeded our expectations. Lovely space. Catering: deicious - it was so lovely to arrive to hot food after a long journey and to not have to worry about shopping for the first few days. Friendly and approachable service. We had a fantastic holiday and will book again for next year. Thank you both so much!

Another lovely holiday at the Loft du Vigneron, this time for 2 weeks. It was lovely to see Karen and Russell again. They were charming and hospitable just like before Everything was perfect for us and the weather was amazing, swam every day in the beautiful pool. Karen booked some restaurants for us, recommended by her, and they were excellent. Highly recommend this property, the best ever.
Nous avons eu beaucoup de chance de pouvoir séjourner dans cette belle maison. C'est si calme dans le jardin, en sirotant des boissons tout en se relaxant au bord de la piscine, et pourtant le centre-ville animé n'est qu'à quelques minutes à pied. Les marchés du mercredi et du samedi valent le détour. Je recommande Le Regent pour la nourriture située dans la vieille ville. La maison elle-même est charmante, avec tout ce dont vous avez besoin pour des vacances parfaites. Même avec les températures élevées à l'extérieur, la maison était belle et fraîche à l'intérieur. Nous avons passé un moment fantastique et espérons y retourner bientôt.

We have had a lovely family holiday in your beautiful house. The weather ended up being perfectly pleasant for our stay - allowing us to spend plenty of time outside with the little ones. We have all enjoyed making daily use of the pool and the outdoor eating areas. We have enjoyed our daily walk to the boulangerie for our breakfast croissants and the crème doudou. The house has been well placed for us to explore the surrounding attractions of the Périgord-Noir. Thank you for all the care and attention to detail you have put into creating a lovely, relaxing family home.
We have had a very enjoyable week in your wonderfully sited house within easy walking distance from the centre. Sadly the weather was not sufficiently good to entice us into your swimming pool but we really enjoyed the house and its surroundings. Sarlat itself was great and we made good use of its restaurants and bars.
Merci beaucoup de nous avoir permis de séjourner dans votre maison. Nous y avons passé un très bon moment avec nos enfants. Le temps était splendide. A truly fabulous house, super comfortable and well equipped with everything you could want. The incredible kitchen is a joy to cook in. The pool was warm and super clean. This was a really special place for our family holiday with lots of space to spread out. Clare gave us some great recommendations for places to visit and eat. Andy cooked us a delicious meal for us which is a real treat. The area is lovely and peaceful, surrounded by vineyards, unspoilt local towns and villages. We would love to return and show the area and house to other friends and family.
L'hôte était super. Elle a fait de son mieux pour que nous nous sentions chez nous. Le secteur est pittoresque et idéal pour explorer cette région viticole.
Nous sommes maintenant de retour chez nous et je tenais à vous adresser mes plus sincères remerciements pour votre accueil à la Maison de Saint-Jean. Votre maison est magnifique. Elle allie le charme d'un ancien corps de ferme au confort d'équipements modernes et stylés. Nous étions 6 mais la maison peut accueillir 8 personnes. Ce sont surtout les extérieurs que nous avons adorés. Même si le temps n'était pas très confortable cet été, nous avons apprécié le très grand jardin, la vue étendue et la piscine chauffée. Nous reviendrons certainement car la région vaut encore quelques détours et votre maison est le point de chute idéal pour la visiter. À bientôt.
A very belated note to say thanks very much for your help in making our stay in Les Rocans go smoothly. We had a great time and loved how relaxed it was. We were considering rebooking for next year however Mum has just announced she will be taking a larger place to celebrate her 70th in next summer, so the good news is she will pick up the bill (!) but the bad news is we can't stay with you again next year. We will however certainly bear Les Rocans in mind for the future as we had a thoroughly relaxing time.
Nous avons passé un séjour merveilleux dans votre belle maison. Ce fut un séjour délicieux et reposant dans ce petit havre de paix en pleine campagne française. Tout est parfait...
Magnifique villa en pierre - un bon accueil pour les amis et la famille. Un excellente maison chargée d'histoire, parfaite pour donner à chaque visiteur des espaces magnifiquement privés (avec 5 lits et bains), mais avec de la place pour se réunir pour des soirées et du plaisir. Au cours de nos trois semaines, 15 personnes nous ont rejoint à des moments différents. Beaucoup de place pour cuisiner ensemble, barbecue, dîner à l'extérieur, dans la cuisine, l'élégante salle à manger ou au bord de la piscine. Nous avons eu un magnifique soleil d'automne près de la piscine chauffée, et la maison est bien équipée. Des problèmes mineurs rapidement pris en charge. Un design fabuleux - nous souhaitons simplement en savoir plus sur l'histoire de la maison. Excellent emplacement - avec une trajet de 5 minutes (en voiture) vers le village pour des croissants le matin, à peu près tout le nécessaire dans le village, à proximité des principales attractions (15 ou 20 minutes de Lascaux - 20 minutes de Sarlat). Nous étions ravis et remercions Pierre et Marie.
We are all having the most idyllic time here in your beautiful home - it is just perfect and so beautifully and tastefully presented - the weather is incredible and the pool in full use - we have visited Ilsle sur la Sourgue, Châteauneuf du Pap and the surrounding villages which are all charming - so all very well!

Nous avons passé quelques jours merveilleux dans cette magnifique maison et c'était tout ce que nous avions espéré : une charmante atmosphère française, un excellent emplacement et une piscine fantastique (surtout pendant la vague de chaleur que nous avons eue). La maison était équipée de tout ce dont nous avions besoin et plus encore - vous avez vraiment pensé à tout ! Merci encore, nous espérons revenir l'année prochaine. Merci !
Nous avons passé une très bonne semaine de vacances à 2 familles. La villa est superb, bien équipée et entretenue. La piscine chauffée est vraiment un plus, les enfants en ont bien profité. Les propriétaires, qui habitent à proximité, sont sympathiques et disponibles. Nous y reviendrons avec grand plaisir si l'occasion se présente. Nous remanions vivement cette location.
What an amazing 2 weeks, it went far too quick. The most perfect accommodation. Scenery, weather, could not fault anything. Amazing days out at the Aquaparc in Castelnaudary (excellent value for money). Villeneuve-sur-Lot is worth a visit for some shopping and excellent food at Terminus de la Cale with amazing views of the river. Lacapelle night market is a great experience (try and get there by 5:30pm for parking). Go karting at K47 near Agen is perfect if the weather is a bit mixed. Otherwise just relax at the house. We definitely hope to be back.
Just to say how much we enjoyed staying at Le Grand Verger for the last two weeks. What an amazing house in such a beautiful setting, we all found it so relaxing and inspirational, with lots of music, games and reading. A truly memorable family get together with lots of photographs to remind us. We loved La Romieu (thank you for the recommendation) where the gardens were superb and the Collégiale Saint-Pierre certainly an experience with the spiral staircases! Loved the herbs in the garden too which we used daily and several trips were made to the ice cream shop in the village, the green tomato and basil was a new find and delicious. We were lucky with the weather, providing lots of opportunity for swimming and generally relaxing. Thank you again, we'd loved to return in the future.
Notre séjour de deux semaines dans cette magnifique villa française a été le point fort de notre été. Un immense merci à Philippe. Dès le premier jour, il a été un hôte extraordinaire, nous apportant du pain personnalisé et des viennoiseries pour le petit-déjeuner, et emmenant Ed faire une dégustation de vin. Nous avons adoré notre dîner au restaurant, également organisé par Philippe, à La Tour à Montady. Il a été notre référence pour toutes les informations touristiques et sa connaissance locale, des recommandations de plages jusqu’au lieu où acheter un gâteau d’anniversaire. En plus de cela, nos chiens (Bella et Luna) l’ont adoré. La villa elle-même est superbe et nous nous sommes sentis chez nous dès que nous avons franchi la porte. Nous avons profité de journées autour de la piscine, de barbecues le soir et de jeux dans le salon après de merveilleuses petites excursions aux alentours de Maureilhan. Nous n’avons pas envie de partir ! Mais c’est la vie !
La région la plus agréable de France. Le séjour le plus agréable en villa de « luxe ». Points forts: -légumes frais du marché de Duras lundi. Pour manger à Eymet, presque tous les restaurants feront l'affaire, mais les favoris sont la Cour d'Eymet et le Château les Vigiers. -regarder les milans royaux chasser dans les champs le soir. Les lézards et le geko sur le patio. Dans l’ensemble, c’est une expérience mémorable.
Nous recommandons Maison Louis Richard. Un endroit unique et très agréable pour séjourner, avec d'excellents hôtes!
