It is an extraordinary place, very quiet and well-equipped. The terrace and pool are really nice. Lots of villages to visit around. Recommended!
Well, we all made it and have had the best time. This year we have certainly made use of the pool - even Chris! We have had some splendid lunches out and have found yet more restaurants and generally had a very enjoyable and relaxing time. As ever, we thank you for your wonderful hospitality. We can’t wait to be back - Chris and I are coming back in October when we hope it won’t be quite so hot!
Nous avons passé des vacances fantastiques dans la propriété et, pour être tout à fait honnêtes, nous ne voulions pas partir. L'esprit maussade, nous repensons à nos clichés de vacances en souhaitant ne pas être retournés dans le sombre temps anglais, mais à nous trouver assis dans la glorieuse véranda! Votre hospitalité était incomparable et toutes les vacances sans faute.
Je voulais juste vous remercier pour ces 2 semaines merveilleuses dans votre charmante maison. Il y a tant à faire dans la région ! C'était très amusant.
Back again! We loved our stay here so much we decided to come back and it did not disappoint. The kids loved the pool and we enjoyed both local walks (marked maps provided at the house). Impressive thunder storms and lovely blue skies. Would recommend Castres, Revel and Hautpoul for local trips (all within 30 to 40 minutes drive).
We have loved staying in your beautiful and well-planned house, a real home from home. We have been three generations; age range from 8 to 64 and it worked so well for us all. Thank you very much.

Thank you so much for a wonderfully relaxing stay at your ‘Loft’. We have stayed here many times before under previous ownership, but we must say that you have moved it up several notches! The attention to detail is second to none; from the luxurious ‘The White Company’ products to all the goodies in the fridge and cupboards - very much appreciated. The terrace, garden and pool are just so peaceful that we haven’t ventured far! Most of all thank you for being there and for your wonderful company. We hope there will be many more visits to come. Nous avons passé une quinzaine de jours fantastiques à la Villa Bellara en juin 2023. La propriété était impeccable et nous a fait nous sentir instantanément chez nous. Notre groupe était composé de trois couples et d'un bébé, mais la villa est si grande que chaque couple avait son propre étage avec une pièce inutilisée. Chaque chambre climatisée avait accès à une salle de bain et un dressing. La cuisine est grande et bien équipée pour cuisiner et préparer des boissons et des collations. Nous avons également utilisé le barbecue à gaz Weber. Nous n'avons jamais eu de piscine chauffée en France auparavant ; nous l'avons utilisé tous les jours et nous nous sommes détendus sur les trois terrasses isolées. Nous avons visité Cros De Cagnes à plusieurs reprises et pouvons recommander la région aux vacanciers qui ne souhaitent pas louer de voiture. La villa est située dans un quartier résidentiel calme mais à seulement 15 minutes à pied du front de mer avec ses bars et restaurants. Il y a un supermarché à proximité et plusieurs boulangeries à quelques pas. Vous pouvez facilement accéder au train ou au bus pour des trajets vers Nice ou au-delà. Le propriétaire Jean Luc était extrêmement hospitalier et a pris le temps de nous expliquer tous les aspects de la Villa. Il a précisé que nous pouvions le contacter si le moindre problème survenait. Nous recommandons vivement la Villa Bellara et espérons revenir à l'avenir.
Des vacances géniales dans cette jolie maison. Nous avons adoré la piscine. La salle de jeux améliorée était incroyable par rapport à notre dernier séjour il y a 7 ans. Trois générations de 71 à 11 ans et nous l'avons tous adorée, nous nous sommes bien amusés toute la semaine.
Wow, what a huge privilege to be the first entry into what we know will become a book full of compliments, acclaim and thanks to a very special couple who are creating a very special place. The house and gardens are an amazing reflection of the style and care and attention to detail that Russell and Karen are putting into what we know will become one of Languedoc's gems. Their un-intrusive but 'nothing is too much trouble' nature brings a relaxed and caring environment. The Loft is a lovely haven to relax in and contemplate the beautiful world around you. We look forward to returning and wish you all the very best.
Excellent. A recommander sans modération. Hôtes charmants, accueillants. Maison du gardien rénovée dans le style du bâtiment, avec goût et le souci du détail. Très propre. Piscine superbe dans un magnifique parc arboré et très bien entretenu. Environnement très calme. Restaurants locaux agréables... idéalement placé pour visite de Montignac, Sarlat, les eyzies, la Rosue Gageac et autres sites touristiques. A recommander et félicitation à Caterina et Steve pour la rénovation de cette magnifique propriété.
Nous y avons séjourné une semaine pour fêter un anniversaire. Nous avons passé un merveilleux moment et je recommande fortement la propriété. Nous espérons y retourner un jour.

Un charme fou. Nous y avons passé une semaine début juillet 2020 en famille, et nous avons été sous le charme de ce superbe endroit et de ses alentours. La demeure est très confortable, très spacieuse, avec toutes les facilités souhaitées. Les pièces de vie tout comme les chambres sont très agréables. Les aménagements extérieurs également. Les propriétaires disponibles et très accueillants. Le Borghesia est extrêmement bien situé, près d'une plage de galets en bord de rivière et ainsi que près de nombreuses excursions intéressantes en tout genre. Nous recommandons vivement ce lieu où nous avons passé de magnifiques vacances.
Lovely private pool and terrace with comfortable accommodation in a picturesque village. Hosts were discrete but friendly and very helpful. The restaurant a short stroll away is definitely worth a visit. Nice walks on the doorstep.
What a fun-filled week with all our favourite people! Mike and Annie have spoilt us rotten and we have loved this beautiful place – perfect for a big gathering of friends and family. Thank you and lots of love.
Notre séjour aux Marquises a été parfait, la maison avait tout ce que nous puissions rêver, merci. Nous avons adoré la vue sur les vignes, le mobilier, la piscine, le grand figuier pour l'ombre et les figues.

We have just returned from Villa La Baronne where our family of 15 had a wonderful time! The villa is exceptionally clean and beautifully decorated. It is in an ideal location, less than a 10 minute drive to the nearest supermarket.
Very high end, luxurious with every amenity, wonderful location in the vines and countryside and yet near everything.
We have just returned from a wonderful 2 week stay. The gite is very well appointed with lots of games, which our daughter really enjoyed. We especially enjoyed the warm swimming pool (cleaned daily), summer kitchen, beautiful garden and multiple outside seating areas. It is very well located and within easy reach of some beautiful Bastide villages. We especially liked Villareal and Eymet. Special thanks to Jean and Martin, who are perfect hosts and on hand to provide recommendations if needed. The local village of Lauzun is within a five-minute walk and we recommend the boulangerie and weekly table gourmands held during the summer. We are already planning a return visit!
We loved the villa, everything was perfect. The children loved it and my 3 year old son refuses to go home. Beautiful fruit from the garden.
Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans cette belle villa, décorée avec goût. Le propriétaire est charmant. De façon générale, la maison est très fonctionnelle. Cependant, la villa est pour un maximum de 4 et n'est pas conçue pour plus de personnes. Proche de Pézenas, jolie ville où sortir. Je recommande chaleureusement cette maison.
Beautiful château and very well maintained grounds which are well equipped to prevent children from being bored. The kids absolutely loved the pool and having the shaded area was brilliant for everyone. Everything you could need for a fortnightwith the family - our party included toddlers, a newborn baby and grandparents. the daily housekeeping service was much appreciated. Would definitely recommend a catered evening (we chose Indian food). Thank you for letting us stay in your lovely home. We hope to be back.
