We enjoyed a lovely holiday at La Cottage in Saint Maurin. Our hosts Bryn and Steph couldn’t have been more attentive. The cottage was full of character and French charm and the landscape gardens were a delight along with the private swimming pool which provided a much-needed opportunity to cool down after lovely days out. Relaxation is what this area is all about, laid back and very pretty ,with beautiful Bastide villages and charming markets selling local produce and so much more. We loved dining outside the cottage overlooking the garden, listening to the birds and church bells chime. Thankyou again to our lovely hosts.
Great place to stay and perfect for the three families we had on our trip. The children loved the pool and boules court and the adults loved sitting on the patio with a glass of rosé watching the sun set. Look forward to coming back.
Nous avons vraiment apprécié notre séjour au château du Périgord. Le château est magnifique et décoré avec goût. Le parc est splendide. La campagne est très belle et très apaisante. La piscine est sécurisée et bien équipée. Parfait.
Nous avons vécu une expérience unique dans ce lieu très privé et exceptionnel. Un endroit idéal pour se ressourcer et profiter de moments mémorables en famille. La piscine est impressionnante et les lumières y créent une atmosphère magique. Vous êtes en pleine nature mais au sein d'un cadre de la plus haute qualité.
Thank you so much for the most incredible week, we have made so many memories. Everything about the house has been perfect, such an easy space to relax in. Our girls have loved their week and have become real water babies! We return home to the Alps feeling recharged and look forward to another visit. Heavenly spot! Best wishes from all of us.
Je veux vraiment garder ce bijou caché pour moi ! C’est super. L’appartement est ce que nous souhaitons tous avoir. Deux chambres avec lits doubles. Belle vue sur la mer depuis le balcon. Parking privé. Endroit privé avec chaises côté mer. Beach club très proche. Relaxant et facile de communiquer avec le propriétaire Paul. À l’arrivée, Ben était là avec les clés et beaucoup de conseils sur la région. Réservation arrangée, etc. Très facile d’accès et super serviable. Donc n’y allez pas car nous voulons y aller plus souvent !
Encore un séjour merveilleux et probablement le meilleur temps de septembre jusqu'à maintenant. Merci encore à tous ceux qui nous permettent de rester ici. C'est juste parfait!
Château magnifique, que ce soit au niveau du cadre, du mobilier, du confort, de l'équipement. Nous avons passé un séjour parfait, avec de bonnes recommandations, un très bon accueil... Nous recommandons vivement ce lieu exceptionnel ! Merci encore à vous deux.
What a stunning location. We have had a wonderful week and extremely sad to be leaving this idyllic spot. The house is incredibly well appointed and kitted out with everything we could possibly have needed. We spent the week relaxing and fitting in the odd wine tasting, horse ridding lessons for our two girls and visiting the brilliant goat farm! Thank you so much for the incredible stay!
It's a magical place in the heart of a charming Provençal village. Everything is perfect, from the warm welcome to the newly renovated house. The house has a lot of character and all modern comforts, including a shaded terrace and a swimming pool right in the village!
We stayed in Maison Rohmer for 11 nights in June and thoroughly enjoyed the house and peaceful setting at the end of a private track. Everything was very clean and well furnished with excellent bathrooms and plenty of hot water. We swam in the pool every day bar one, when there was a big thunderstorm that drenched the area and had a strange effect of gradually turning the colour of the water in the pool to green, but was perfectly ok to swim in. The owner was on hand to answer any queries we had despite being in the USA at the time of our stay, something that we both appreciated greatly. Gordes and the area around was lovely with so many beautiful towns and villages to explore on foot or bike or car, a great area of France to return to again.
From the garden the mountain and surrounding vine yards are blindingly beautiful, the day beds under the fig tree was my favourite place over looking the pool and could spend all day there. The whole house is fantastic and the interior also, I absolutely loved it, thank you for these two great weeks,
C'est notre troisième visite à la Villa - nous commençons à nous sentir comme à la maison ! Un autre séjour merveilleux - nous avons encore passé un très bon moment et sommes désolés de laisser la paix et la tranquillité derrière nous. Merci à Frédéric comme toujours pour l'accueil très chaleureux, toujours là en cas de besoin. Tant de souvenirs à ramener à la maison et merci de nous avoir permis de rester dans votre belle maison.
Absolument magique, merci à Thomas pour son accompagnement et bienveillance qui a su satisfaire tous nos invités... Souvenir inoubliable... Splendide lieu.
The property is set in lovely grounds; away from it all yet close to the bastide towns of Monpazier and Villereal. We particularly enjoyed the pool area, which is well kept and maintained on a regular basis by one of the locals. The house is comfortable and equipped with everything you need.

Je n'écris pas souvent d'avis, mais si je pouvais mettre 10 étoiles, je le ferais. La Charmante Distillerie est tout simplement incroyable. Mark et Gary sont des personnes chaleureuses, gentilles et authentiques qui se surpassent pour rendre votre séjour inoubliable. Je suis très exigeante en matière de propreté et je peux honnêtement dire que cette maison est vraiment la plus propre que j'aie jamais visitée, le souci du détail est exceptionnel. Les lits sont les plus confortables que j'aie jamais utilisés et il y a tout ce dont vous pourriez avoir besoin, et plus encore. La piscine chauffée était magnifique, le terrain de pétanque extérieur nous a amusés, adultes et enfants. Le Wi-Fi est excellent. De nombreux espaces salon et repas confortables sont situés dans le magnifique parc, avec la campagne et la forêt environnantes. Nous avons veillé tard chaque soir pour observer les étoiles, ce qui en valait vraiment la peine. Un merci en particulier à Mark et Gary pour avoir été les meilleurs hôtes que j'aie jamais eu le plaisir de rencontrer.
Anthony and Rachel make wonderful hosts being friendly, knowledgeable, helpful and also very generous with their excellent "welcome pack". We loved the whole region: Carcassonne and Mirepoix are a "must" (the owners of the "Mad Hatter" cafe in Mirepoix are Brits) and we enjoyed the markets at Mirepoix and Revel. Also enjoyed the drive south from Revel through the pretty villages/small town of Saissac. Lagrasse is a pleasant village but a tad overrated in our view. On the other hand, we loved Minerve and the Minervois region including the small town of Caunes-Minervois. Fontfroide is worth a visit and Montesegur is a must if in that area. We enjoyed Peyriac de-Mer and Gruissan on the coast but would avoid Narbonne Plage on another occasion - great beach though! Toulouse is a pleasant city and worth a visit if cities are "your thing" and the SNCF smartphone app worked brilliantly. For a special lunch, Cote Resto is a must. Excellent food and in a wonderful setting.
Look forward to visiting again in the future..We had a wonderful 2 weeks staying at Villa Pey de la Salle celebrating our joint 50th birthdays with friends from around the world. The house is only three years old, beautifully designed and appointed and incredibly spacious and accommodating for big groups (we had 10 people). We were also delighted with the location, which was quiet and private being several kilometres outside the village of Fayence, but with access to Nice, Cannes and St Tropez less than an hour away. The owner Vincent and property manager Isa were very friendly and helpful and the Pure France administration was fast and efficient. We will certainly be recommending this service and property to our friends.
Exceptionnel. Quel endroit exceptionnel. Nous vous recommandons vivement cette fantastique location comme lieu de vacances idéal pour échapper au stress de la vie de tous les jours. C'est dans un cadre parfait, unique et bien placé pour que les visiteurs puissent profiter des délices de la campagne de la Dordogne.
Nous avons réservé le Château Bellevue pour y installer notre séjour golfique. Avant cela, nous n'avions aucune expérience concrète du Pays basque et avons finalement joué moins de parties de golf que prévu, tant il y avait de choses à faire et à voir ! Nous avons eu la chance exceptionnelle d'être là pendant la Fête de Bayonne, où la ville entière se transforme en une fête en plein air. Côté gastronomie, nous avons apprécié les nombreux restaurants basques, et en particulier les restaurants de poissons du port de Biarritz et de Saint-Jean-de-Luz. Les parcours de golf locaux étaient très variés, mais le point culminant était sans conteste le Golf de Biarritz, un parcours exigeant, avec son terrain époustouflant au bord de la falaise et ses vues imprenables sur le littoral.

Very nice accommodation with a huge living room. The proximity to the canal is the charm of the charm of the house.
Wonderful family holiday We had a wonderful week staying at Manoir de Saux, spent mostly by or in the beautiful pool or on the tennis court! Occasionally we would tear ourselves away from this idyll to wander through pretty fortified towns, to have a delicious local lunch and to taste wine. We all particularly liked Cahors. The house itself was very comfortable, had everything we needed and the kids couldn't have been happier. Highly recommended!
We had a lovely time in a beautifully converted villa. So much space for relaxing and the kids to roam free at the table tennis out building or down by the pool. Wow! What an amazing house in such a wonderful location! We've just come back from spending a week here and I was so sad to leave. The house is incredibly comfortable and beautifullt decorated. You really couldn't ask for a better location - the street is very peaceful (we didn't hear a thing, despite sitting out in the garden until late in the evening, every night) and yet you are in the centre of town within few minutes walk - we loved strolling into the main part of town for an ice cream in the day or a drink at night. Parking is easy; we didn't use the garage in the end despite having two cars between us. The pool is wonderful, especially when its really hot and the decked area and BBQ just make the garden a really relaxing, usable space to enjoy.
Formidable ! Tellement bien. C'est comme revenir au 16ème siècle avec la modernité en plus - Superbe !
