Our first family holiday ion 3 long years! We have treasured our time together in this beautiful villa. The weather as so hot but the a/c was great! Thank you for all the local recommendations for restaurants and shops!
A big 'Thank You' for your hospitality at the Loft du Vigneron. We’ve had a wonderful time and enjoyed ourselves a great deal and we will cherish the memories of our week in Rieux-Minervois.
Very enjoyable, well kitted and at a logged location for a lazy 'by the pool' sort of break. Love the poolhouse area and very nice interior decor. Gary and Louise were most helpful and we had a wonderful relaxing time. Monflanquin was good fun and we enjoyed the day and night markets. Great for all ages.

We now have a special place in our hearts for the local village, Fayence. What a truly beautiful spot and the most wonderful house to make some amazing memories. Maximum pool time, lunches in Cannes. Best time and best memories made.

This home is spacious and beautifully appointed with spectacular views that offer an ever-changing backdrop. We found the early mornings particularly beautiful and loved watching the amazing sunsets sitting by the pool or on the veranda. This stylish and well-equipped home from home was a truly wonderful place to stay and had everything we could wish for to have a comfortable, relaxing and enjoyable holiday. We look forward to returning very soon.
Wonderful time with the big family. The beautiful Château Velouse offers plenty of space for a large family or friends, with a great kitchen, a large dining room and a cozy living room. Almost each of the eight traditionally decorated bedrooms are having their own modern bathroom. The huge park is great for own dogs, which you can easy bring with you.
Wow, what a huge privilege to be the first entry into what we know will become a book full of compliments, acclaim and thanks to a very special couple who are creating a very special place. The house and gardens are an amazing reflection of the style and care and attention to detail that Russell and Karen are putting into what we know will become one of Languedoc's gems. Their un-intrusive but 'nothing is too much trouble' nature brings a relaxed and caring environment. The Loft is a lovely haven to relax in and contemplate the beautiful world around you. We look forward to returning and wish you all the very best.

We travelled to this beautiful villa with friends for 6 nights and our stay was truly wonderful. We were fortunate with the weather most days so managed to enjoy some of the many amenities the villa has to offer including swimming and sunbathing by the pool, playing croquet and pétanque! We also ate outside on the veranda every day, enjoying the BBQ and the good weather. The villa had so much to offer. We had two days when the weather was not so good and were kept busy by the games rooms downstairs – we made great use of the pool table and projector for playing music, movies and watching sports, it really was a lifesaver on one particularly cloudy day. On arrival the villa was clean and the villa handbook was most helpful to support us settling in, additionally the host was quick to respond and always willing to help with our queries. The villa offers great privacy with peaceful surroundings and allowed us to relax away from others. The village is a short walk away and we enjoyed lunch there on our final day at the restaurant which is also worth a try. On specific days there were gourmet food trucks that stopped by in the village offering various sweet and savoury items – we tried the crepes which were lovely and a nice treat after an evening walk around the river and church in lovely Buzet. We loved everything about the place, I would highly recommend this to both friend groups and families.
Nous avons passé des vacances merveilleuses et reposantes. Merci beaucoup pour cette belle maison et les vues. Nous avons profité de la piscine, du soleil, de la piscine fantastique et bien sûr du piano. En tant que musiciens, avoir un piano était important. Apprendre que la maison appartenait à un célèbre pianiste de jazz était génial ! Nous avons joué du jazz tous les jours et le son du piano dans l'air du soir était un rêve. Merci Frédéric de s'être occupé de nous.
Heatwaves, lizards, buzzards, owls, thunderstorms, bakery, wine, wine, wine and cheese. Fabulous house beautifully converted, so French, so homely. We do not want to leave. We're staying. Many thanks. PS Walnuts were marvellous.
Beautiful house - a real hidden gem in hills of Myan Sartu. Nice located, easy accessible, safe, comfortable and convenient especially for families with children. The owner is a very responsible and attentive host. Our slightest problems were solved instantly without ruining our plans for the day. Special mention should be made of the breathtaking view from the terrace and the great opportunities for children's leisure. The house is just overflowing with different toys and board games. Our family was so happy to spend our holidays here and will definitely come back again.

C'était notre première escapade depuis trois ans à Londres et nous n'avons pas été déçus. Les températures élevées ont quelque peu freiné nos ambitions, mais Camirout est un véritable paradis pour les vacances ! We had a fantastic 2 week stay here, the house and outside space are really lovely and was the perfect setting for our family to spend time together. We explored the area but were always more than happy to return to the house and spend time around the swimming pool relaxing. Thank you
Thank you so much for your hospitality this last week. Staying at the Loft du Vigneron is more a 5-star hotel experience than a typical rental property! We loved sitting out on the terrace at all times of the day and there were so many little touches that made staying here such a pleasure. You are great hosts - discrete yet friendly and so helpful when required. As for activities in the area, we particularly enjoyed Lastours and the Friday night pop-up tapas bar at the château. All the best for your new venture - we're sure it will be a great success!
Thank you both so much for a magical 5-night stay. We have absolutely loved staying here and will miss it when we go home! The gîte is amazing, beautiful inside and out. We really appreciate all of your efforts for making our stay so comfortable. Such a lovely touch having fresh bread, eggs and veg from your garden waiting for us - perfect. We loved feeding the chickens and the horse! Thank you also for all the recommendations on what to see and where to go, Russell. We will definitely be back!
Nous avions tous hâte de séjourner à La Barde rien que pour son emplacement et de voir les belles photos. La réalité était encore meilleure et tout simplement parfaite pour deux familles de cinq personnes. Il y a une merveilleuse sensation de jardin secret et nous étions entourés du meilleur du début de l'été dans le jardin. La maison a une belle ambiance décontractée et élégante avec une immense cuisine, des chambres spacieuses et un grand salon confortable que nous n'avons jamais eu besoin d'utiliser. La terrasse ombragée à l'extérieur de la cuisine avec des roses et du jasmin et de nombreux endroits où s'asseoir et lézarder étaient au centre des « activités » et de merveilleux emplacements pour chaque repas. Les baignades matinales au parfum de jasmin et de lavande étaient un régal particulier et il y a eu d'innombrables défis de ping-pong, de badminton (et de bronzage). L'emplacement de la Barde est parfait pour profiter de la vie locale, des marchés, du canoë et Périgueux n'est qu'à une heure. Nous avons adoré le bar Lusignac. Vous ne serez pas surpris de lire que nous revenons cette année !
Merci de nous avoir offert deux semaines incroyables dans votre maison. La piscine est l'une des meilleures que nous ayons vues et le jardin est tout simplement magnifique. La villa est joliment décorée et nous l'avons tous trouvée très confortable. Nous avons passé deux belles semaines à explorer les environs, sans une seule minute de télévision ! An amazing house in a part of France which is so rich of culture, beauty, villages, churches, fields of sunflowers and I must say, it is difficult to leave the house... real stylish home. The kitchen inspires to cook, the outside place gives you the opportunity to swim, read, eat, enjoy the sun. The bedrooms, mattresses and linen and perfect.
On n'aurait pas pu demander mieux à La Barde ou à son propriétaire. La Barde était tranquille, confortable et avait tout ce dont vous pourriez avoir besoin pour des vacances en famille. La cuisine était très bien équipée, c'était incroyable, les chambres étaient spacieuses et les lits confortables. Toutes les pièces étaient joliment décorées et meublées avec soin. Il y avait tellement d'espace dans la maison et les jardins que même en tant que famille nombreuse, vous pouvez trouver un endroit calme pour un peu de paix. La piscine avait une grande partie peu profonde pour les tout-petits, le jardin était idéal à explorer. Nous reviendrons l'année prochaine sans aucun doute ! Merci!
Very hot to start with 40 degrees! Fabulous really, and we had a wonderful time. Weather was good. Friends coming next year already!
Notre hôte nous a accueillis à notre arrivée et nous a non seulement fait visiter l'appartement mais également l'ensemble du bâtiment et ses environs. L'appartement était impeccable, beau design moderne avec toutes les commodités et si proche de la plage. Plus important encore pour nous, il peut accueillir un jeune bébé avec une chaise haute, un lit bébé, une baignoire pour bébé et même des jouets de bain. Enfin l'emplacement est idéal si vous souhaitez découvrir la Côte d'Azur. Nous avons fait des excursions d'une journée dans notre voiture de location tant à l'Est que vers l'Ouest depuis cet appartement, notamment Eze, Cannes, Antibes, Nice, St Paul de Vence, Villefranche-sur-Mer, Menton, Monte Carlo et Cap Ferrat. We booked the Manoir de Monflanquin in Oct 2020. It was between lockdowns and it was a very weird and scary time for us as a family. We were so looking forward to the holiday. We then postponed it due to the travel restrictions in 2021, we just didn’t want to risk it. It’s the longest time we’ve ever waited for a holiday. Our holiday in Monflanquin was the best holiday we’ve ever had and we’ve been on some great ones! The house was elegant but robust enough to cope with the 9 of us. It was better than the photos we’d been pouring over for two years. We never got used to the views, the space and beauty of the place. The pool, garden, hammocks, table tennis, badminton net and pool table kept us fully entertained. The kitchen was such a lovely place to be and so delightfully organised. We all took it in turns to cook and had gorgeous evenings outside chatting and eating at the tables out front. The weather was incredible - we had days of glorious sunshine and then spectacular electrical storms. When it rained we just wandered into Monflanquin, set up camp in a pretty cafe and played cards. The view of Monflanquin from the garden always made me pause and remember how lucky we were. The views of the house as we strolled round the fields also gave us joy. It sat so firmly and proudly on its plot. Please thank the owners for providing such a lovely place for us to all get together. It was perfect. Thank you from us all.
It was everything we dreamed it would be and more. We loved the pool and the house had all we needed for a great holiday.
