Nous passons nos vacances dans cette région depuis plus de 30 ans et c'est sans aucun doute l'un des endroits les plus spéciaux où nous ayons séjourné. Nous prévoyons d'y retourner l'été prochain !

Merci pour votre gentillesse et votre générosité ! J'ai apprécié mon séjour ici et j'ai eu l'occasion de pratiquer mon français. La campagne et les paysages sont vraiment spectaculaires ! C'était très intéressant de découvrir la région. Nous avons utilisé la piscine tous les jours. Nous avons essayé les vélos et joué au tennis. Merci beaucoup. Nous espérons revenir bientôt!
We have enjoyed two wonderful week here with cloudless skies and beautiful evenings. Amongst our favourite outings were nearby Villedieu, a beautiful spot for a lunchtime stop at the cafe du centre or the exceptional bistro de Villedieu, we also visited Gigondas with its magical views and charming square, Vaison la romaine is a stunning town especially the old part. We also enjoyed wondering around Nyons following the route through the spectacular medieval arches, chapel and church.
Si vous aimez le charme de l ancien, vous serez conquis. Nous avons particulièrement apprécié la disposition de la maison et des extérieurs. Le fait que la piscine soit dans le jardin bas crée à la fois une sécurité mais aussi que la maison reste très calme quand il y a de l agitation à la piscine! Nous avons fait les plus mémorables parties de ping pong à l ombre des majestueux cyprès et les enfants ont passé des heures à illuminer le château dont la proximité immédiate est magique.
Fabulous house, beautifully decorated with everything we could possibly need for a lovely holiday. The pool and pool toys were a great hit with our 4 year old. We have holidayed numerous times in France and this was by far the best, from the welcoming email to the comfy beds and linen. Mark and Janet have made this a beautiful holiday home. We had a hot week and made the most of being at home! Thank you for a lovely stay! P.S. The Tuesday night market in Laparade was fun and definitely worth a visit! Our daughter loved her bedroom + the toys kept her occupied in the morning!

Mission accomplished, we came for a week to rest in a family holiday and we are sad to leave. One week was not enough! Thank you for answering our few requests and we love your villa! The A/C is perfect, beds are great. All the games available and even managed to read 2 books! The ice machine, the 3 ovens... All wa perfect! Happy summer. All the best.

We have had another wonderful stay at Villa Gailinette. This is a place where you can feel at home and out of your day to day life at the same time! Thank you so much for all the comfort provided... nothing is missing, all you need is there including peace and beautiful weather.
Nous avons passé une semaine fantastique au Malardier. C'était tellement paisible et relaxant de se prélasser dans le magnifique jardin et de nager dans la piscine. Le temps a été plutôt mitigé mais la semaine s'est passée trop vite et nous sommes tous très désolés de partir.
Deux semaines super dans cette charmante villa. Emplacement fantastique pour explorer la région de Marseillan. Mèze est un must, super déjeuner chez Noilly Prat, café à Mèze. Nous avons passé de nombreuses heures heureuses dans la grande piscine. Merci.
We loved every moment of our stay. The Garden Cottage is pretty but so well appointed; super-clean, well equipped and charming. The pool and gardens are private and delightful. Catarina and Stephen are great hosts - nothing is too much trouble and they are just so friendly. This property is a jewel and the villages and ancient sites of the Vezere Valley make this a stunning trip.
This is our 7th visit to the Dordogne and at least the 6th rental at "Cordelliers" Thank you Jackie and Geoff for buying this property and continuing to allow lucky people like us to stay here. We always love a long lunch at Le Vieux hogus in Tremolat, lovely drive. We stopped at himeuil on the confluence of the Vezere Dordogne rivers to see another lovely village with a stony beach. Book a table under the plane trees in the garden, easy to book as all the reception staff speak English. This trip we visited the gardens of Eyrignac which we saw 20 years ago-much changed and lovely but Marqueyssac are still our favourite gardens with its cliff top views to Castlenaud, Beynac, Faynac Chateaux and the town of Roque Gageac. Don't miss Lascaux IV, book online - this time we did it last minute and got in at 3.30pm English tour, great for all ages, especially the children as they get their own laptop! Buy your foie gras and confit of duck at the E Le Clerc supermarket - much cheaper and great quality, rather than paying extortionate prices in Sarlat. A lovely drive if you are interested in Bastide towns is to start in Belves, worth a quick look for its 11th century centre and 15th C covered market. Then onto Monpazier, Byron, Chateau Byron and finally Monflanquin, a great place for lunch (park at the top of the hill next to Elise St Andrew) Of course Rocamadour and Padirac caves are another must and if you feel like a big day out add Colognes La Rouge to the itinerary. When visiting Rocamadour, enter from the top, drive past all the parking costing 5euro or so and head to the well signposted "Le Chateau" parking which has 500 places and is free. Take the lift "Ascenseur" down into the town, buy the more expensive ticket to go all the way to the bottom of Rocomandour town, see the Sanctuaries, churches, walk up into town. Afterwards take the lift back up to the car and walk to the Ramparts. MARKET DAYS: Monday: Beynac,Les Ezyies (small one on the river) Tuesday: Le Bug - highly recommend Wednesday: Sarlat and St Cyprien Thursday: Domme and Monpazier Friday: Roque Gageac Saturday: Sarlat Sunday: Carnac, H'muel and St Cyprien (highly recommended) On Wednesday evenings from late June to mid August Belves has a night food stall market which id fun, bring your own cutlery, glasses and nice plates if you don't want to eat off paper. Wine shop - an excellent wine shop, no more expensive than the supermarkets with great advice from English speakers is in Les Eyries - Vin Blanc Rouge, 3 Ave de la Prehistoire.
Just to say how much we enjoyed staying at Le Grand Verger for the last two weeks. What an amazing house in such a beautiful setting, we all found it so relaxing and inspirational, with lots of music, games and reading. A truly memorable family get together with lots of photographs to remind us. We loved La Romieu (thank you for the recommendation) where the gardens were superb and the Collégiale Saint-Pierre certainly an experience with the spiral staircases! Loved the herbs in the garden too which we used daily and several trips were made to the ice cream shop in the village, the green tomato and basil was a new find and delicious. We were lucky with the weather, providing lots of opportunity for swimming and generally relaxing. Thank you again, we'd loved to return in the future.

Très bel endroit accueil chaleureux et sympathique. Confort des chambres et salles de bain, grande piscine à disposition parfaite pour faire de l'exercice et se rafraîchir. Je recommande si vous êtes dans la région.
La propriété Mas des Rivailles est un super endroit dans une superbe région de la France. L'une des meilleures piscines que nous ayons vues et la famille l'a utilisée toute la journée pendant notre séjour. La maison est vraiment confortable avec de nombreux espaces où la famille peut se déployer pour travailler ou simplement passer du temps seul. Le fait de disposer de trois espaces de restauration formels nous permettait de varier les lieux où nous déjeunions et dînions. Il y a de superbes vues sur la campagne depuis toutes les fenêtres et la maison se trouve dans un cadre très paisible et serein. Je dois féliciter Frédéric, le gestionnaire local. Il était là pour nous accueillir à notre arrivée et nous guider à travers la propriété et nous indiquer tous les éléments et informations locales qui ont rendu l'expérience si formidable. Il est très axé sur les solutions et a résolu les problèmes mineurs de manière simple, détendue et dans les meilleurs délais. Un grand merci pour tout.
Eva a été extrêmement serviable et nous a donné d'excellentes recommandations pour le dîner. La maison est parfaite pour des vacances relaxantes, une belle piscine et un intérieur incroyable. Lieu de résidence idéal, nous vous recommandons vivement.

Wonderful hosts provide a very nice apartment! We were greeted immediately upon arrival. The apartment is beautifully decorated. A bottle of wine and water was already in the fridge for us The breakfast was very lovingly prepared on the terrace.
One week was not long enough. Fabulous house - didn't want to leave. Visit Pézenas, just wonderful and great shopping.
We very much enjoyed our visit to this area with its wonderful beaches and gorgeous scenery. Your warm welcome on our arrival helped us to settle in to this beautiful villa and it is obvious you have spend many years in furnishing it. A home of which to be justly proud.
