An absolutely fabulous villa, decorated and furnished inside and out to an exceptional standard. Perfect location with an amazing pool and relaxation area. Very efficient air conditioning. The advertising for this villa does not do it justice. Facilities like this are hard to find in a holiday rental.
Dès l'instant où nous avons franchi les portes de la Maison Charvin, nous savions que c'était la maison idéale pour nos vacances - les cris de joie des petits-enfants (et de leurs parents) à la vue de la piscine et du jardin environnant suggéraient que la maison serait plus que répondre aux exigences des trois générations de la famille - elle l'a complètement fait. L'attention portée par la propriétaire, Mme W., aux détails et son anticipation de tous nos besoins ont été très appréciées, tout comme son aide supplémentaire pour traiter avec le mécanicien local (pneu crevé) et le dentiste (dent cassée) qui allait au-delà de l'appel du devoir et qui ne sera pas oublié - merci beaucoup. Nous avons passé de merveilleuses vacances et n'hésiterons pas à recommander la Maison Charvin à notre famille et à nos amis.
Nous quittons tout juste la maison, la semaine a été formidable et le temps était vraiment clément. Merci pour cette semaine.
Nous avons passé un très agréable séjour dans cette propriété. Tout était conforme à nos attentes et même mieux. Les propriétaires, Benedict et Pierre Balteau, étaient très sympathiques et accueillants. Nous avons hâte de revenir ici lors de notre prochaine visite dans le Languedoc, en Occitanie et nous recommanderons certainement cette propriété à nos amis et à notre famille. Notre expérience avec Pure France.com a été très bonne et nous n'hésiterons pas à utiliser à nouveau vos services à l'avenir. Bravo !
What a wonderful place this is! The views, the sky (the skies!) and a lovingly prepared house. Meryl and Richard have thought of everything, from the best ever (it's official!) welcome goodies to proper cooking tools and much more. All in a beautifully presented house. And such lovely people (and Poppy) too. Highlight 'touristy' thing to do this week: A 50km bike ride along the Canal des deux mers from the Canal over the Garonne (stunning) in Moissac to Valence d'Agen and back. Flat and shaded - all bike lanes - looking at the narrow boats passing sluices. A welcome slowdown from normal hectic pace. Thank you so much Meryl and Richard, we will be back and recommend Le Tournesol very highly.

Votre belle maison est très bien équipée, le dossier d'information est très utile ... un beau premier séjour pour découvrir la France rurale. La région est vraiment spectaculaire...

Well, when Beverley told me she wanted to bring our children and grandchildren for a 'once in a lifetime' holiday, to celebrate our forthcoming 50th wedding anniversary in October, I must be honest I was negative and full of foreboding! But... Domaine de Nérige! Wow, what a place Bev found while I was moping around saying this won’t work. Not only was the location, 'in the middle of nowhere' absolutely perfect but the house was just beautiful with every facility we could possibly have wanted not to mention Sandie and David constantly going the extra mile if we needed advice. Thank you both for being the perfect hosts. We have not one negative word to say about this beautiful property - the rooms were comfortable, cooled where necessary with AC, the plethora of bathrooms is nothing short of extraordinary. Showers perfect and the supply of local wine and your own olive oil is truly the nicest touch. The games room, the space for kids to play on the terrace culminating in the fantastic pool was everything kids and the whole family would want. We didn’t need to leave here and, in fact, we probably did spend more time here that we would have in a 'run of the mill' villa. So finally, thank you to you both. We would love to see you both again but it would not be with such a heavy group of 'hangers on' although Bev’s decision for us to all be together this year was an inspirational one which worked perfectly. Everyone LOVED it.
If / when we return to continue exploring this lovely area of France, we would hope to be able to stay in 'The Loft'. Russell and Karen have been very welcoming and helpful, but unobtrusive and nothing seems too much trouble. Perfect hosts! Sad to be leaving after only a week.
La maison était très grande pour notre couple mais nous avons apprécié l'espace dans la maison et autour. La piscine est tout simplement parfaite avec ses 16m on peut vraiment faire un peu d'exercice après avoir trop mangé et trop bu. Ce furent des vacances très reposantes et une région agréable à découvrir.
A lovely family week in this perfect house in an idyllic situation on the edge of the charming village of Cucugnan. The house is well-equipped and the pool is fabulous! The barbecue and table-tennis also much appreciated. The house is a short walk into the village where we visited two bars and an excellent family -run restaurant (Auberge du Vigneron). Also enjoyed ‘Burger Friday’ at the bar. The village shop has all the basics. We also did a ‘degustation’ (wine-tasting) in the village and visited two of the nearby fascinating Cathar Castles – there is plenty to do in the area but the house is also perfect for relaxing. We will be back!
Nous venons de passer des vacances très réussies à la Villa Azure. Nous étions sept (dont deux enfants) la première semaine et deux pendant la majeure partie de la seconde semaine. Nous étions certainement à l'aise. La villa est située dans une rue résidentielle calme, donc aucun problème de bruit tôt le matin ! Elle se trouve à environ huit minutes à pied d'une excellente pâtisserie pour acheter des croissants, etc. pour le petit-déjeuner, avec un excellent magasin de fruits en face. Le supermarché est un peu plus loin, mais facilement accessible. La plage est à environ 12 minutes à pied. L'accès aux autres lieux est simple via la gare de Cagnes (Nice ou Cannes) et il existe un bus gratuit pour les Hauts de Cagnes qui valent bien une visite. La propriété est parfaitement entretenue, l'équipement de cuisine de première classe et bien pensé. Il y a une splendide terrasse donnant sur la piscine, avec un auvent au-dessus de la table à manger qui nous a tous confortablement accueilli. Le soir, le petit jardin dispose de lumières sous les arbres, et à minuit, des gerbes jaillissent de l'herbe pour l'arroser. Le jardin, bien que petit, est bien entretenu, entouré de haies, le rendant très privé. Nous avons passé des vacances des plus agréables et mémorables.
Gorgeous week, great weather fantastic food, wine, pool and tennis topped off with a spectacular display of shooting stars viewed from the back terrace. Truly Magically! Thank you!
We had a fantastic 2 week holiday in this beautiful house with amazing surroundings! We visited several picturesque villages. Spent some lovely days and evenings around the pool and BBQ's. Totally relaxing!
Magnifique maison pour 7 personnes. Les chambres étaient très spacieuses, tout comme l'espace extérieur. Idéal pour les familles je dirais. Un accueil très chaleureux de la part de l'hôte et une piscine soignée tout au long du séjour. Un grand merci à Victoire et Gaby.
We have had a wonderful week at Château du Pic de Rigaud and enjoyed every minute! The weather has got better and better and we've had perfect days by the pool. The château has been incredibly comfortable and provided everything we needed. We have enjoyed exploring Najac including the Wednesday evening market. Thank you to Henrietta and Peter for all your help and bookings. We will miss this wonderful house and grounds and our morning walks to the Boulangerie. We hope to return.

This is the easiest and most satisfying review we've ever written. Quite simply, Mark and Gary are two of the warmest and thoughtful people we have ever met and they have created the most wonderful home in the perfect rural location that it almost seems too good to be true... but it isn't. Everything about La Distillerie encourages you to unwind and relax... whether it be the sumptuous and luxurious interior spaces, the pool and adjoining terraces giving shade and privacy or the surrounding woodland and rustle of the leaves on trees in the gentle cooling breeze. Early mornings and evenings were our particular favourite as we would just sit and listen to the silence whilst enjoying an espresso or cold Pineau. It was truly idyllic. Our daughters, aged 12 and 14 years old, were so happy playing in the pool for hours or relaxing on the terraces and in their own private snug that has been beautifully created. We would love to keep La Distillerie as our own little secret and not share it with anybody, but of course we can't. So regretfully we have to tell anybody that asks that we have found the perfect destination with the perfect hosts. C'est magnifique.
‘This is our second time at Le Malardier and once again we’ve had a fabulous time. Just as lovely as we remember it. We really hope to be back again’.
Quelles merveilleuses vacances reposantes. À part une excursion d'une journée à Nantes, nous avons passé toute la semaine à nous détendre au bord de la piscine. Les machines de l'Île valent le détour. Archie, 7 ans, a été totalement époustouflé par l'éléphant mécanique. Nous reviendrons certainement lorsque l'arbre aux hérons sera terminé. Le gîte est très bien équipé et un merveilleux chez-soi. Ian et Jean étaient très accueillants et sont une mine d'informations. Nous nous sommes forgés des souvenirs ici.

End of a wonderful family holiday at the villa. Everything we could have wished for. We had so many fantastic experiences in Collioure. Wonderful views, we will miss waking up to them in the morning.

The gîte is perfectly equipped, within a wonderful location with fantastic views. A completely restful and relaxing time, which is exactly what we wanted. The pool providing the ideal entertainment for the children, with the added bonus of Richard's net for competitive games of pool volleyball! Places to go - Bourg de Visa - market on a Tuesday evening, Brasserie and local goat farm Montage de Quercy - market on a Saturday morning Bonaguil at Fumel - great castle (although lot of steps) Le Boulve - local wine producers - free tasting and interesting tour Richard and Meryl were fabulous hosts - very generous with they time and knowledge. We really don't want to go home. So we have decided to squat! Plus we have fallen in love with Poppy! Thanks for everything.
Maison Bourriette is a wonderful place to stay! In a peaceful location it’s a perfect getaway with cool indoor spaces and beautiful tranquil outdoor spaces. The house boasts wonderful views across the valley, with many routes from the house for walks or runs. The village is a short walk away and has a well stocked traditional market, an outdoor gym for those feeling active! The artificial beach in the village also allows for swimming or relaxing and the local pizza restaurant completes the day! We have visited more than once and each stay is relaxing, with friendly, helpful hosts. We will definitely go back to this hidden gem!
Quelle belle semaine nous avons passée ici à explorer la Loire. Nous avons vraiment apprécié de retourner chaque soir dans le sanctuaire paisible de cette belle maison - un vrai petit bout de France ! Les terrains et le jardin sont si paisibles et relaxants et nous aurions souhaité y passer plus de temps, mais hélas, il est temps de rentrer. Merci beaucoup!
