What a wonderful place to have a holiday. Saint-Sulpice is so beautiful and so well equipped – we have had four holidays with Pure France and this is the best house we have stayed in and the Pool area is so comfortable and although our weather has not been great we have spent hours outside and used hundreds of logs on the poolside fire. Both of you, Simon and Nicholas have been so helpful in many ways and we feel that we have become friends with both of you. Thank you for providing a great selection of wines and for arranging the excellent dinner on Thursday – that was a real experience.
You both have every reason to be very proud of what you have created and we all had a great holiday.
Many thanks for looking after us so excellently. An amazing place to stay. Will definitely be back.

Our whole family has thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Saint-Sulpice. You are to be congratulated on the marvelous job you have done in creating this haven of peace and quiet and blend of ancient and modern.
The house is beautifully renovated and furnished and the ensuite facilities to every bedroom almost persuade me to do something about my own bathroom!
Beyond the house the pool and pool house are just super.
We have had lots of fun en-famille. Two great weeks.

OMG! WOW! FAB! What an amazing place! We immediately felt so relaxed – it felt as though we have been here for weeks, not days! We especially appreciated the quality beds, bedlinen and bathrooms and the endless attention to detail; flowers, games, décor equipment …. too much to mention! And then there was the pool area – just a dream! We loved the fireplace, lounging area and gardens – we took full advantage of the veggies – gorgeous too we are booking our next trip! Thank you for a fabulous week – the weather certainly helped – but we didn't need it to make the most of this fabulous place. Our hosts were attentive, yet unobtrusive and have created a wonderful relaxing atmosphere – and clean a BBQ better than anyone else. We've enjoyed the house and all the facilities – pool, badminton, croquet…and trips out on the bikes and to Brantôme for canoeing. Our dinner cooked by Jean Michel was a highlight and excellent value. We'd love to return one day and have no hesitation in recommending Le Manoir to all our friends at home. Thanks again.

Fabulous accommodation in a very beautiful setting. Enjoyed living in the wonderful restored Saint-Sulpice. The pool house is exceptional and was well used. Lots of things to do and see. The children enjoyed the velo-rail. Caves at Villars also wonderful as well as the 'beau villages' Simon and Nicholas have been wonderful hosts and made us feel very welcome. Many thanks for a wonderful stay.

Fantastic stay at Saint-Sulpice. Simon and Nicholas were very welcoming and made us feel 'at home'. We loved the pool area and our children (9 and 4) loved the garden. They helped us book activities and suggested excursions. The local area is beautiful. The local village shop supplies delicious breakfast pastries. Overall a wonderful experience.

Simon and Nicholas have provided a wonderful holiday experience from start to finish. The house is amazing – very luxurious. We spent most of the time by the pool, in the pool house. It was a great base to explore the area – lots to see and do. We loved the night time tour of Châteaux Hautefort, we definitely recommend it. The pastries from the shop in the village were lovely – we ordered them every day! Simon and Nicholas were really helpful and provided help and advice when needed. The made our holiday really special.

What a fantastic week we have spent at Saint-Sulpice! We thoroughly enjoyed visiting the beautiful local towns, vineyards and châteaux. Not to mention lounging poolside, enjoying plenty of BBQs and most importantly relaxing and catching up. Our daily trips to the village for le Pain and pain au chocolat were also a highlight! Nicholas and Simon have been such amazing hosts. The kindness and generosity they have shown to us made our vacation truly unforgettable! We look forward to returning soon.

A fantastic week with everything our family needed, set in a beautiful location in a gorgeous part of France. We had lovely daytrips to some restored châteaux and relaxing days by the pool. A great week. To dine – Hotel St Jacques (St Saud Lacoussiere) and Moulin du Roc (Champagnac de Belair) – both fine dining – M de Roc most expensive.
To visit: St Robert, Ségur de Châteaux, St Jean de Cole – all beautiful.
To divorce – canoeing at Brantôme, but make sure to visit the market on Friday morning. And at the end of the day come home to this wonderful house with great facilities and an absolute superb pool area – the best we've ever seen! We'll be back

Places to go? Brantôme is a must! To paddle your own canoe – so to speak – around this lovely moated town is something that house guests must try.

Saint-Sulpice surpassed all our expectations and your eye for detail in all areas was truly impressive. The surrounding area is beautiful too, but your house made our holiday and was very hard to leave. I think we will all be raving about it for a long time to come, as it is the nicest and most comfortable holiday home we have stayed in. Most importantly, it was a pleasure to meet you both and you were wonderful hosts. We wish you all the very best and Saint-Sulpice is sure to be highly successful.
